Island Capitals

Note: All capitals have a CLIB branch in the city limits, at least one CLDF base within one mile of the city limits, and have a league ranch within two miles of the city limits. All populations are measured by humans that live in the settlements as citizens and are at least sixteen (16) years old.

Anglor, The Capital of Paramount

Population:  43,578 (Governor Oswald Sinclair)

General Info: Although Epoch is Crescent League’s capital, Anglor is Paramount’s island capital. Located on the west coast of the southern lake of the island, this city was established in 39 AS under the leadership of Sergeant Glenn Sinclair. It originally was not an island capital until 67 AS, when Richard Frost, the Overseer at the time, declared that the Overseer’s job was to look after all Governors and not be one himself, making the mayor of the city at that time, Henry Sinclair, Governor of Paramount. Due to the city being on the lake, there is much beach activity during the summer.

Pokécenters: Anglor is home to three Pokécenters located in the Northern, Southern and Western Districts of the settlement. There many small clinics found throughout the entire city, which are mainly used for buying medical supplies and to give patients non-emergency care.

Researcher/Watchers: Anglor hosts the Research Institute for Dragon-types (RID), located in the Southern District of the settlement. Its head Researcher, Doctor Jacob Brooks, has taken an interest in Dragon E-Metals as well, and is always looking to help the Dragon-types improve themselves better in order to protect the league better from potential attacks from Widows, even though a reported incident has not occurred within the league in 95 years.

Notable Sites: Besides the aforementioned places, the entire Western District is the capital’s unofficial Commercial District. This is due to the wide and safe beaches along the lakefront east of the city. Although there are a few ferals that swim near the shoreline, they are not serious threats.

Dining/Lodging: There are plenty of hotels and restaurants all along the coastline of the Western District. Most of the hotels have restaurants within their business, though these are the higher class lodgings. The average style rooms that are found in Anglor are, but not limited to, Basic Poké Rooms to Lodging Rooms. Commercial eating can range from simple takeout to exquisite fine dining.

Asis, The Capital of Wick

Population: 42,984 (Governor Justin Ray)

General Info: Asis is located on the Northeast coast of Wick. The settlement was founded in 40 AS under Lieutenant Jason Ray, who became the island’s first Governor. Although the city is used as the main port city for Wick, Asis does host a decent beach during the summertime. The coastline is guarded by military personnel who are stationed at the CLBP base located in the Southeast District of the settlement.

Pokécenters: There are three large Pokécenters stationed in the city’s limits. These facilities are in the Central, Northwestern and Southeastern Districts of Asis. Clinics that are open 24 hours, sell medical supplies and treat non-emergency patients can be located throughout the settlement.

Researcher/Watchers: Asis is one of the few capitals that do not host a research facility within its borders.

Notable Sites: As previously stated, Asis hosts a decent summertime beach located in the Northeastern District of the capital. During this “business season”, travelers can be found concentrated along this stretch of coast, usually enjoying the sun or swimming in the water. Since the military patrols the waters that are in the settlement’s jurisdiction, the area is relatively safe from ferals. This district is considered the business district of the city. Other than the beaches and their surrounding area, there is not much to speak of.

Dining/Lodging: As stated previously, the beaches are what attract the businesses to the Northeastern District of the city. Most of the eateries ranges from the small diners to expensive restaurants are found in this district. Luxurious restaurants that only accept reservations are located within the Central District of the city. The hotels are set up oppositely, with the most expensive lodging near the coastline. These rooms usually range from Basic Poké Rooms to Harem Rooms.

Atla, The Capital of Core

Population: 53,837 (Governor Robert Octavia)

General Info: Atla, like most of the island capitals, are located near the coastline, but not on them. The capital is located five miles north from the island’s south-central coastline. Atla was formed from a military base, like almost all of the islands capitals, in 41 AS. Robert Octavia governs the city from the capitol and has been considered to be more accepting of pokégirls when it comes to their rights.

Pokécenters: There are four large Pokécenters that are located on opposite sides of the city. There are a few clinics that are scattered throughout the city, but they do not have all the health services as the Pokécenters do. The clinics are mostly used for buying medical supplies that the Pokécenters do not have in selling stock or for non-emergency treatments.

Researcher/Watchers: Darrin Buelow is the head Researcher of the Atla Research Center (ARC). The facilities main study is Poison type pokégirls, mostly the different kinds of poisons and antidotes they can create.

Gym: The Atla Gym was the first of four Gyms to have been constructed in Crescent. Located only about a half a mile from the East Pokécenter, this Gym’s main badge battlers are Electric and Water types, though they have been known to use other types.

Notable Sites: Atla is home to one of the only four Gyms in Crescent, as already stated. Any pokégirl and her owner can enter and train within the Gym for free; there is no membership required. Since the idea of building Gyms was frowned upon by the Overseer at the time, it is a rarity to see any in Crescent, causing much tourism for the capital. All types of pokégirls can be found on the premise. Another site is the capitol building, the place where the Octavias also reside. Although most of the building is restricted and there is much security, free tours are given to any who are interested. On some days, just to see if any tourists know who they are, Claude and Jolie Octavia, the third and fourth heirs of Governor Robert Octavia, will be the tour guides. They have stated that their favorite part in this charade is showing the Octavia family’s portraits at the end of the tour and watching the tourists’ reactions.

Dining/Lodging: There is plenty of lodging to go around, though on average most of the rooms classify as, but not limited to, Basic or Basic Poké Rooms. These can be located throughout the entire city, having no set tourist district. Restaurants are plentiful in the city, serving from common delicacies, such as seafood, to fresh imported fruits, to real meat.

Britadene, The Capital of Pinnacle

Population: 47,367 (Governor Stephan Sisler)

General Info: Britadene is the capital of Pinnacle, which is located on the narrow strip of land that connects both the larger halves of the island. The settlement was established in 40 AS along the southern coastline. The city was first used as a means to cut off any Pokégirl Army units from regrouping with each other throughout the island during the Revenge War, but has turned into a bridging city since then. Most travelers will pass through the settlement, so it makes for an excellent trading city. The beaches within the city limits are filled with ports and are part of a CLBP base, so beachgoers usually need to go outside the settlement for these activities.

Pokécenters: There are four large Pokécenters located within Britadene. These facilities are located in the Central, Eastern, Northern and Western Districts of the city. Clinics are scattered throughout the settlement and are used mainly for the selling of medical supplies and for non-emergency treatment and care.

Researcher/Watchers: The capital of Pinnacle is home to the Britadene Institute of Teleportation (BIT). This facility is headed by Doctor José Maxwell and its purpose is to determine more successful means of teleportation. Such principles of this place are to teach pokégirls or spellcasters to use their abilities more successfully and improve themselves. In other cases, they look to teach pokégirls who are capable of using this ability, but were never taught how. This institute is located in the Northern District of the city.

Notable Sites: Besides the aforementioned places of the settlement, the last place of mention would be more information on the ports. Although the CLBP base takes up the Western side of the coast within the city, the ports used for transportation and trading supplies take up the Eastern. It goes without saying that the Southern District of the settlement is the Business District of Britadene.

Dining/Lodging: Most of the restaurants within the settlement are found in every district, but the most expensive ones are almost always found in the Central District. These businesses get their supplies from the ports of Britadene, so the food is almost always fresh. Most of the classy and rich lodging businesses are found within the Central District as well, having their own restaurants within the building. Most of the lodging rooms are between Basic Poké Rooms to Decent Poké Rooms.

Caspicus, The Capital of Strip Island

Population: 48,803 (Governor Fredrick Baldwin)

General Info: Caspicus is port city located on the southernmost shoreline of Strip Island. This capital was formed into a city on 40 AS. Caspicus is the island’s main port and trading city. Almost all of the island’s imports arrive through this city, as well as its exports, making its unofficial name “Strip’s Gate”. The city’s Governor is Fredrick Baldwin, who runs the island from the capitol. His policies towards pokégirls are considered somewhat moderate to strict. This settlement also has a CLBP base located a mile west of the city’s limits.

Pokécenter: There are four Pokécenters located in the Eastern, Northern, Southern and Western Districts of the city, with about eighteen large clinics scattered throughout the settlement. These clinics can operate some emergencies, but they are far from the Pokécenter’s treatment. The clinics tend to have about twenty staff members on duty, with only half that number during the graveyard shift.

Researcher/Watchers: The Strip Island Research Center is home to a few studies, but the main one is Evolution Stones. The studiers use what stones they are able to get in grants from the league government and experiment on pokégirls, hoping to find and explain new breeds.

Gym: The Caspicus Gym is the second of four Gyms to have been built in Crescent, located about half a kilometer south of the Pokécenter. This facility’s main battlers focus on using Fire and Steel type pokégirls, though they are not limited to them.

Notable Sites: Since Caspicus is located on the coastline, one of its main attractions is the docks. This is not due to the trading, but to watch the shipping boats that come in and out of the harbor. As tourists get tired of this, they can walk along the shoreline, where beaches can be found on both the southeastern and southwestern districts of the city. These beaches are monitored for ferals by the CLBP, which also monitors the imports, exports, and immigration of Caspicus closely.

Dining/Lodging: Besides for the Gym and the beaches, Caspicus is not much of a tourist city. The lodging is located near the beaches and the Gym the main areas for tourist spots. These rooms are usually Basic to Basic Poké Rooms. The flophouses that are sparse in the rest of the city offer only the minimum standards. Restaurants are somewhat decent, though real food can only be found in select businesses. Most of the food service businesses can be found near the hotels, reserving the most expensive restaurants near the center of the city.

Casterova, The Capital of Sylvania

Population: 43,948 (Governor Bryan Clark)

General Info: Casterova is located on the southern coastline of Sylvania. It was one of the first base of operations built during the Revenge War, but was established as Sylvania’s capital in 39 AS, with Lieutenant Leroy Clark as its first Governor. The settlement hosts a CLBP base on the outer edge of the city’s limits. The capital gains commerce by serving as a hot spot for tourists and beachgoers who want to feel secure when vacationing. This security is done by the military, which constantly patrol the area.

Pokécenter: There are four Pokécenters in the East, North, South and West Districts and have two dozen clinics that are scattered throughout the settlement. These clinics serve as facilities where medical supplies can be bought and non-emergency treatment can be obtained.

Researcher/Watchers: The Casterova Institute of Science and Technology (CIST) serves as a facility which studies most of the technological breakthroughs for Crescent League. Doctor William Stern is the head researcher for the CIST and is always working on getting grants from the League.

Notable Sites: Casterova hosts one of the safest beaches in Sylvania, due to the military presence. Other than this place and the CIST, there is not much else of note for tourists.

Dining/Lodging: Most of the restaurants and hotels are located in the Southern District of the city. Most of the hotels have average rooms that are between, but not limited to, Basic Rooms to Lodge size. The restaurants all range from small diners and eateries to high-end restaurants.

Charlotte, The Capital of Edward Isle

Population: 40,476 (Governor Scott Williams)

General Info: Located near the southern coast of Edward Isle, Charlotte serves as the capital for its host island. The city, like almost all of the settlements built during the Revenge War, was originally built as a military base to fight against Sukebe’s Army. After the war ended, most of Charlotte was never demilitarized. Using Plant-type pokégirls, the commander of the settlement, Lieutenant Julia Williams, began growing farms in the outskirts so that Charlotte could be able to support itself without outside influence. As the base grew and it became a city, the farmland eventually pushed outward and the original farms became the new dwellings. Due to the strong military presence, not too many travelers come to this capital.

Pokécenters: There are three large Pokécenters that are part of the Charlotte’s jurisdiction. The facilities are located in the Central, Eastern and Western Districts. Clinics are located throughout the city and are mainly used for selling and providing medical supplies and non-emergency treatment.

Researcher/Watchers: Charlotte is one of the few capitals which do not host a research facility.

Notable Sites: Other than the aforementioned places, the only other site of note would be the capitol building itself. It was originally the command center for the Edward Isle base during the Revenge War and still has its old structure as of 300 AS. When Lieutenant Williams officially demilitarized the base and named it Charlotte (after her pet Ding-Ho), she made herself the first Governess and set up the old command center to be the island’s capitol building.

Dining/Lodging: There is not much for dining within Charlotte, due to the lack of tourism and military presence that continues to exist. The restaurants that are within the city limits are mostly family restaurants and diners. Lodging is limited as well, with the average rooms ranging from Flophouse to Decent Rooms. These can usually be found within the Northern District.

Daluna, The Capital of Stook

Population: 40, 825 (Governor Benjamin Valero)

General Info: Located on the southern coast of Stook, Daluna serves not only as the island’s capital, but as a major port for the island. It was originally founded within 39 AS, with the first Governor being Lieutenant Steven Valero. As stated previously, even though this city is quite important to Stook, it is the second most recognized settlement of the island (coming in second to Lucretia’s Sacrifice). Since it is the popular port city, Daluna hosts a rather large CLBP base within its borders in the Southern District.

Pokécenters: There are three large Pokécenters located within Daluna’s city limits. These are located in the Central, East and West Districts of the settlement. Clinics are scattered throughout the entire city and are used to treat non-emergency problems and for the selling of medical supplies.

Researcher/Watchers: Doctor Sophia Kendall is the top Researcher at the Daluna Institute of Experimentation (DIE). The DIE’s main field of study is the specific production of E-Metals and their use on pokégirls. Due to Crescent’s main policy in exporting most of its E-Metals, the DIE’s experiments are very limited and have yielded very few recorded successes.

Notable Sites: Due to the massive port and military base along the coastline, there is not much available for beaches. The ports serve as a place for loading and unloading goods into the city, as well as people coming in and out of the city on passenger ships and ferries. There is one museum, The Stook Historical Museum, which serves as good place for tourists looking to learn and see any artifacts from the past.

Dining/Lodging: Though the Commercial District resides in the North District of Daluna, eateries can be found throughout the settlement. Most of the restaurants and fine dining places are located in the North District. Lodges are usually found within the North District as well, but these are the more expensive businesses. The motels can be found throughout the settlement. Usually, the hotels in the North District have their own restaurants within the business. The rooms can range from all prices within the city; it all depends on the lodge.

Epoch, The Capital of Crescent League

Population: 66,391 (Overseer James Frost)

General Info: Epoch is Crescent League’s capital city, making it a hotbed for activity. Its history dates back to during the Revenge War, when Captain Nathaniel Frost, Overseer James Frost’s ancestor, ordered his battalion out from this place to unite all of what is now Crescent League. This city has a little bit of everything, whether it is food, tourist sites, or looking for the right pokégirl. Epoch is also the largest city in the league. Overseer Frost is considered to very conservative when it comes to pokégirl rights, though he does see the need for them.

Pokécenter: There are six different Pokécenters in the city, with a fair amount of clinics scattered in all the districts. Since there is an abundance of Pokécenters, at least one in every district, the clinics are only used for non-emergency care and selling supplies.

Researcher/Watchers: There are many studies that take place in Epoch, but if there is one field that stands out from the rest, it would be Bonding. Researcher Margo Hale and her Alaka-Wham study the effects and psychic connections that a human and pokégirl both share in order to better understand how Delta Bonds form, though they are still puzzled by the existence of Recognition.

Notable Sites: One of the best things to see while in Epoch is the Pre/Post-Sukebe Museum. This facility is home to many different artifacts that existed before the Revenge War and objects that existed afterwards as well. These range from all kinds of things, even Forbidden Tech (though all of the items are deactivated, therefore making them paperweights).

Dining/Lodging: The restaurants all around the city offer the best foods that the league has, including some of the most spacious rooms as well. Most of the hotels have their own restaurants within them and the average rooms are Decent Poké Rooms to Lodge size. These places can be found all over the city; they are not set in one distinct district.

Espas, The Capital of Farpoint

Population: 37,026 (Governor James Bueche)

General Info: Espas is located two miles west off the west coast of Farpoint island. Directly east of the capital is the local CLBP base, which patrols the waters constantly. The settlement was founded in 43 AS, with Lieutenant Vickie Bueche becoming the capital’s first Governess. Unlike most of the capitals, Espas never really demilitarized itself, being the “boundary” settlement for Crescent League.  Due to the high military presence and being on the “outskirts” of the league, Espas never became very popular to live in for civilians, making it the lowest and least populated capital in Crescent.

Pokécenter: The capital has two Pokécenters, located on both in the East and West Districts. Non-emergency clinics are set up throughout the settlement in order to be more convenient to Espas citizens and to help keep the Pokécenters’ traffic to a minimum.

Researcher/Watchers: Espas is one of the few capitals not to have any research facilities operating within its limits.

Notable Sites: Other than the beaches that are around the CLBP base near the city, there not much else for tourists to do in the capital.

Dining/Lodging: Due to the lack of tourism, there is not much of a selection when it comes to dining and lodging. The motels of the capital only offer Flophouses to Decent Rooms, with most businesses being in the East District. The restaurants are almost all diners, which are scattered throughout the settlement.

Estivia, The Capital of Zenith

Population: 42,478 (Governor Edgar Bell)

General Info: Estivia is located on the southwest section of Zenith, about five miles away from the western shoreline. Located a four miles toward the south is a CLBP base, which the soldiers patrol the waters of Zenith constantly. The city was founded in 43 AS, with Lucius Bell being its first Governor. Besides the Gym, there is really nothing more to the capital. Tourists seem to come to train/battle at the Gym and the hotels have their own restaurants, making the city not too welcoming of non-residence.

Pokécenter: The city has two Pokécenters, one located next to the Gym and on the other side of the city. Many clinics are scattered throughout the city, serving as medicine suppliers and handling small medical emergencies.

Researcher/Watchers: The Estivia Research Institute is not as big as other research places, so their fields are limited. The main field of study at the institution is Fighting type pokégirls, headed under Doctor Celia Adams.

Gym: Built in 172 AS, The Estivia Gym is the third Gym built in Crescent. This Gym specializes in Fighting and Psychic types, but they are not limited to just these pokégirls. The Gym is located next door to one of the two Pokécenters in Estivia.

Notable Sites: As stated previously, Estivia Gym is the main tourist attraction for the capital. Besides the hotels and the service they provide for their guests, there is not much for tourists to do.

Dining/Lodging: There are four main hotels that are located near the Gym that visitors of the capital usually stay at: The Foxx Hole, Frost’s Froth, The Bra-er Patch, and The Wolf Den. These all have different themes, based on their names, but are considered the four best hotels for tourists. The average room for these is a Decent Poké Room, but others are in smaller supply. Other hotels tend to have Basic Poké Rooms as their average.

Euphium, The Capital of Algid

Population: 41,758 (Governor Jack Olmstead)

General Info: Euphium is located on the western coastline of the island of Algid at the intersection of the two land stripes that make up the island. A local CLBP base is located one mile away from the city and helps protect the capital by patrolling the waters that are within its borders. The settlement was founded in 41 AS by Governor Jacob Olmstead. Although the city has a shoreline, it is not usually used by beachgoers, due to the area’s climate. Most of the shoreline is used as ports.

Pokécenter: There are three Pokécenters located throughout the settlement. These facilities are found within the Northwestern District, the Southern District, and the Eastern District. Non-emergency clinics can be found throughout the city, which are used for the selling medical supplies and giving patients’ procedures that are not needed to be performed at a Pokécenter.

Researcher/Watchers: The Euphium Research of Bug Pokégirls study what their name implies, the study of Bug type pokégirls. The facility is located in the Eastern District, under the supervision of Doctor Fitz Gilbert, who has been studying Bug types for over twenty years.

Notable Sites: Tours are given throughout the city about the history of the capital, while most of the tours stay within the Central District. Most of the business is done in the docks of the city in the Northwestern District. This area is also referred to as the Commercial District. This area is used to help transport goods and products between Leagues and other islands within Crescent.

Dining/Lodging: There are no specific areas the restaurants and hotels/motels are located in, but a good portion are within the Central and Western Districts. The hotel/motels usually range between Basic Rooms and Basic Poké Rooms. The restaurants usually serve very fine and prepared meals, due to the capital’s commerce.

Florenia, The Capital of Hiemal

Population: 44,937 (Governor Mark Bates)

General Info: Located in the center of the western coastline, Florenia serves as the island’s capital. The settlement hosts a CLBP base in the Southwestern District, which keep the surrounding waters relatively safe from ferals. It is not a beach popular city, but the since the host island is more frequent with Ice-type pokégirls (much like Apex), much trading of this type of pokégirl can be found in Florenia. Like many of the capitals, Florenia did not become an established city and capital until after the Revenge War. Lieutenant Rebecca Bates became the first Governess in 42 AS.

Pokécenters: There are five large Pokécenters throughout the city, located in the Central, Eastern, Northern, Southern and Western Districts. The large amount of this type of facilities is due to the fact that many Tamers on these northern islands usually seek shelter during the winter season. For individuals who need to buy medical supplies and receive non-emergency treatment, there are many clinics scattered throughout the city.

Researcher/Watchers: The Florenia Institute of Rock-type Studies and Trowel (FIRST) is located in the Southern District of the settlement. The facility is headed by Doctor Lucille Lopez.

Notable Sites: Other than the previously mentioned locations, Florenia does not have much more notable places. The only other place would be the Florenia Trading Centre, located in the Eastern District of the city. This place is the unofficial business district of the settlement, so most businesses can be found here.

Dining/Lodging: Most of the eateries in Florenia are between small diners to rich and classy restaurants. Hotel rooms usually range between Basic Poké Room to Decent Poké Room area, with the larger and expensive lodgings having restaurants in the building. Almost all of the upscale businesses can be found in the western side of the Eastern District, closer to the Central District.

Haven, The Capital of Bruns

Population: 39,998 (Governess Maryann Boone)

General Info: Haven is located on the southern coast of Bruns. Haven is located directly on the shoreline, with the local CLBP yard located in the southwestern district of the city. The shoreline is monitored and patrolled by soldiers, making it a very safe and popular area for beachgoers in the summer. The settlement was founded in 42 AS with William Boone becoming its first Governor. The city itself is somewhat smaller compared to the other Island Capitals, though it does host one of the largest ship ports in Crescent League.

Pokécenter: There are three pokécenters located throughout the capital. One is located near the CLBP base in the Western District of the city. Another is located in the Northern District of the settlement, with the remaining Pokécenter in the Eastern District. A good portion of small clinics are located all over the capital. These facilities serve as places to buy and receive non-emergency supplies.

Researcher/Watchers: The Haven Science Society is located in the Central District of its host. The research team is headed by Doctor Ansel Bondy, who dedicate their time to the study of Fire type pokégirls.

Notable Sites: Since the shoreline is very secure, due to the CLBP patrols, the beach is the most notable site within the city. During the summer, the beaches of Haven can be filled with many different types of pokégirls and their owners in the Southern District. It should come as no surprise that this makes up the Commercial Sector of the city.

Dining/Lodging: Most of the restaurants and hotels of the city can be found within the Southern District. Rooms at the hotels/motels usually range between Basic Rooms to Decent Poké Rooms. The hotels that are along the shoreline are all equipped with Decent Poké Rooms as their lowest rated rooms. The restaurants are scattered mainly throughout the same district as the lodging is, with small eateries scattered throughout the city. All hotels along the shoreline have their own restaurants located within their building.

Indagor, The Capital of Scotia

Population: 41,349 (Governor John Fuller)

General Info: Indagor is located on the northern coast of Scotia. The CLBP has a base located on the outskirts of the city, which keeps the coastline of the capital safe from ferals. The military also keeps the trading vessels safe when going about their business. The settlement was founded in 42 AS by Lieutenant Howard Fuller becoming the first Governor of Scotia. During the summertime, the beaches have been known to gather some tourism for the city.

Pokécenter: There are three Pokécenters located within Indagor. The first is located in the North District, near the coastline and the CLBP base. The second is near the capitol building, in the Central District. The third is located in the South District. There are over two dozen clinics scattered throughout the settlement, which serve as a means to sell and provide non-emergency medical treatment.

Researcher/Watchers: The Indagor Facility for Flying types (IFF) is located on the Western District of the city. The research team is headed by Doctor Fredrick Pierce with his Supe-Bra Genius assistant Jeanette.

Notable Sites: During the summertime, the beaches are the main tourist attraction for Indagor, because of the safety the military provides. Businesses are usually found around the North District, since that is where the beaches and tourists usually stay. Street vendors are also found near this area as well during the summer, so that they can sell off their labors for decent prices.

Dining/Lodging: Restaurants in Indagor can range from small diners to expensive restaurants. These businesses can be found throughout the city, but they tend to stay relatively close to the Northern District. The hotels/motels of the settlement are the same way, with their rooms ranging from Basic Rooms to Lodge size rooms. The more lucrative hotels also have their own restaurants within their buildings.

Libinova, The Capital of Acme

Population: 44,287 (Governor Talon Gaillou)

General Info: Libinova is located on the western coastline of Acme. This settlement as a CLBP base located only one mile away from the city. The soldiers monitor the waters and the coastline constantly, in order to protect the city, its citizens, and the trading vessels. The city was founded 40 AS, with Aymon Gaillou becoming its first Governor. The fourth Gym in Crescent League was finished in this settlement in 177 AS, making it a popular area for tourists who wish to train and see the city. Since Libinova is on the coastline, the beaches within the city limits are hotspots during the summertime.

Pokécenter: There are three Pokécenters located within the city limits. One is next to the Gym, another near the beaches, and the other located near the capitol building. There are a fairly decent amount of clinics that are scattered throughout the settlement, serving as places to buy supplies and to receive non-emergency care.

Researcher/Watchers: The Libinova Institute of Research is located on the shorefront of its hosting city. The research team is headed by Doctor Julienna Courtemanche, studying Water type pokégirls. Doctor Courtemanche picked this city to study them, thanks to the regular patrols and support of the CLBP, should they need it, and its convenient location to the capital and its services.

Gym: As stated earlier, this facility was the fourth and final Gym built in Crescent. This facility’s main types of pokégirls are Ice and Ghost, though they are not limited to just these two. Due to the Gym having a pokéball transfer unit, many pokégirls can be found training to improve their skills there, even ones from different islands.

Notable Sites: Libinova Gym is the main attraction for the fishing/trading capital of Acme. Besides the Gym, the western district of the city has beaches available during the summertime, making this a great tourist spot. During the season, these beaches can be crowded with sunbathers, swimmers, and the occasional patrol unit.

Dining/Lodging: While the Gym has a few hotels near it, the beach area has most of them. The rooms near the Gym are usually Basic Poké Rooms to Decent Rooms. The beach rooms tend to have only Flophouses and Basic Rooms. These rooms are very cheap, due to the fact that the hotels know that most people do not use the rooms until they are ready to sleep. Most of the restaurants are along the beachfront, hoping to get tourists that do not wish to leave the area. A few of these eateries can be found near the Gym and around the rest of the city, but not many.

Lucadona, The Capital of Isle of John

Population: 39,284 (Governor George McNair)

General Info: The city of Lucadona was established by Sergeant Ian McNair in 40 AS in the center of the island. The city sits in a valley that has easy accessible roads for traders and tourists, though the latter are not as predominant as the former. The city is able to sustain itself by providing nearby farmers with equipment and supplies in exchange for food.

Pokécenter: There are three Pokécenters located within the city’s limits. They are located in the Central, East and West Districts of the city. There are twenty clinics within the capital and they are found throughout the settlement. These clinics are used as medical suppliers and for non-emergency treatment.

Notable Sites: Other than the LIPS building and the capitol, there is not much else in terms of tourism.

Dining/Lodging: Since tourism is not very big for Lucadona, there not much hotels and sleeping accommodations available. The rooms that are typically for rent are Flophouse and Decent Rooms. The dinging of the capital usually consists of diners and family restaurants. Each of these businesses are scattered throughout the settlement; they not found in any particular district.

Manentova, The Capital of Marmoreal

Population: 41,032 (Governor John Mathis)

General Info: Manentova was established in 41 AS by Lieutenant Eric Mathis on the southeastern coast of Marmoreal island. The capital hosts a CLBP base within the city, which regularly patrols the waters and beaches of the city. The settlement does get a good amount of tourism, due to the safety and security the military provides. Since the capital is more inward than other cities, it does not require as much military presence as the other capitals.

Pokécenter:  There are three Pokécenters located within the city. They are located in the East, South and West Districts of the capital. Clinics are used as non-emergency treatment centers and for purchasing medical supplies. These facilities are scattered throughout the settlement.

Researcher/Watchers: The Manentova Institute of Steel Types (MIST) studies Steel type pokégirls, has its name suggests. The research facility is headed by Doctor Jeannette Jensen and is located in the North District.

Notable Sites: Besides the MIST facility, the beaches of Manentova are what attract tourists to the spot. Other than those two sites, there is not much of note within the capital.

Dining/Lodging: Due to the tourism of the beaches, most of the hotels and diners are found on the east side of the capital. The hotels usually rent out rooms that fall between, but not limited to, Basic Poké Rooms to Lodging Rooms. The commercial dining varies from small diners to expensive restaurants, with the fanciest businesses being within the East and Central Districts.

Minania, The Capital of Eminent

Population: 47,892 (Governor Dean Murphy)

General Info: Located at the center of Eminent, Minania was founded in 40 AS under Lieutenant Paul Murphy. When the city was originally a military base, it served as the center of operations for the human forces on its host island during the Revenge War. Although the settlement took a few raids from Sukebe’s forces, it was able to remain under the human control and ultimately bring down most of the strongholds on Eminent. Although most of the military has moved in the CLDF base a mile away from the city, Minania still remains a strict, militaristic settlement.

Pokécenters: Minania hosts five large Pokécenters within its limits. These facilities can be found in the Central, Eastern, Northern, Southern and Western Districts of the city. Clinics are available for non-emergency treatment and the sale of most medical supplies. These care centers can be found throughout the capital.

Researcher/Watchers: Unlike most of the island capitals, Minania does not have a research facility.

Notable Sites: Due to the continued militaristic presence within the settlement, Minania does not have much notable sites within its borders.

Dining/Lodging: Dining in the capital usually ranges between family restaurants and small diners. There are some upper class restaurants in the city and these businesses are scattered throughout the settlement in all the districts. Motels are much more predominant than hotels (which are also scattered in all of the settlement’s districts) and their rooms usually range from Flophouse to Basic Poké Room.

Myrica City, The Capital of Myrica Island

Population: 40,832 (Governor Stanley Bartlett)

General Info: Myrica City stands two miles away from the northwestern shore of Myrica Island. A CLBP is located three miles away from the settlement, which patrols the area near the city’s limits. Myrica City was founded in 42 AS, with Adam Bartlett becoming its first Governor. The capital does not get much tourism, since the beaches are a small hike from the city, but hotels do make a decent profit from tourists who wish to visit the capital.

Pokécenter: There are three Pokécenters located within the settlement’s limits, with about a dozen and a half clinics located throughout the city. One of the pokécenters is located near the center of the city, which is near the capitol building. Another is located near the northwestern district and the other in the opposite district. Clinics are used to provide medical supplies and for treating non-serious injuries.

Researcher/Watchers: The Myrica Institute of Plant Breeds and Development (MIPBD) studies, as the name suggests, Plant-type pokégirls. Headed by Doctor Doris Gallegos, this facility is located in the East District of the settlement.

Notable Sites: The center of the city contains most of the government buildings and has the most places that tourists like to go. Tour guides normally give tours around the Center District, for those who wish to learn more about the capital.

Dining/Lodging: Most of the hotels are located in the Northwestern and Center Districts of the capital. These rooms are usually Basic Poké Rooms to Decent Rooms. Restaurants are scattered throughout the entire settlement, ranging from small diners to fancy and expensive restaurants. Most of these more expensive places are located within the Center District.

New Wellington, The Capital of Dele

Population: 43,675 (Governor Augustus Chandler)

General Info: New Wellington is the rebuilt settlement of Wellington, Delaware. After the state and its largest city were destroyed, most of the survivors of the new island formed this settlement on the southern coastline. As the survivors continued to defend themselves against the forces of Sukebe’s Army, Lieutenant David Chandler and his human-pokégirl group took shelter and helped defend the settlement. It was not until 40 AS when the base decided to name itself New Wellington, in memory of Wellington. A CLBP base is located about one mile West of New Wellington, which is also on the coastline.

Pokécenter: There are three Pokécenters located within the capital’s limits, with about a dozen clinics scattered throughout the settlement. One of the Pokécenters is located near the capitol building, another about one mile away from the coastline, and the remaining Pokécenter on the East district of the city, in the direction of the CLDF base.

Researcher/Watchers: The New Wellington Research Department, headed by Doctor Vail Barrette, has their main study listed as Dark type pokégirls. This facility is located more toward the East District Pokécenter, away from the coastline and more toward the CLDF base. This study has been the Department’s main focus for over forty years, ever since the end of Mao Shin Mao’s Rebellion. Since the rebellion was led by a Dark type and New Wellington was the first battle Crescent was involved in, the NWRD wanted to better understand Dark types, which is why they continue to study them to this day.

Notable Sites: Although most of the Battle of New Wellington did not occur within the city itself, the area two miles to the Northwest of the city is where it took place. On this old battleground, tours are given which tell how the CLDF’s local Extermination Force, along with the rest of the Dele military force repelled Mao’s invasion force. Another notable area is the beach front area. New Wellington’s beaches are the southernmost beaches in the entire league, making them the most popular among tourists who wish to get their tanning and swimming in before autumn. The ports in Dele’s capital also serve as the island’s gate for transporting goods in and out of the island and league.

Dining/Lodging: Most of the hotels and restaurants are located near the coastline of the settlement. Rooms are usually Flophouses to Basic Rooms. The restaurants along the shoreline are small and decent, compared to the ones that are within the inner city. Hotels and restaurants in this section are classier, with rooms averaging from Basic Poké Rooms to Decent Poké Rooms. These hotels and nicer ones have restaurants located within the business and are usually not too far away from clinics.

Paterson, The Capital of Jury Isle

Population: 44,437 (Governor Patrick McDuffy)

General Info: Originally a Pre-Sukebe city, Paterson was one of the few surviving large cities in the region that would become Crescent League. Although the city survived the damage done by Typhonna, the citizens of Paterson were not so fortunate when the Monster Flu arrived into the region. Most of the people died from the virus, with many more dying from the diseases that came after it. Due to the shortage of surviving humans, the military team, led by Lieutenant James McDuffy, was able to gain the support of the Paterson citizens and manage to maintain its independence from Sukebe’s forces. Paterson is located on the west coast of Jury Isle.

Pokécenters: Paterson has five Pokécenters within its borders, which are located in the Central, Eastern, Northern, Southern and Western Districts. Clinics that provide non-emergency medical care and supplies can be found scattered throughout the capital.

Researcher/Watchers: Unlike many of the island capitals, Paterson does not host a research center.

Notable Sites: While many of the buildings in Paterson are Pre-Sukebe, not much of them are seen as historical. The CLBP have a base along the coast in the Western District if the city, which helps maintain the settlement’s security. About one mile away from the city limits, a CLDF base tries to maintain safety for the citizens of the area from ferals. The capitol building lies at the heart of the city, though under tight security.

Dining/Lodging: Hotels and restaurants can be found throughout the settlement, roughly half of them can be found in the Business District, which is the Southern District. Most restaurants are between family-style to expensive/fine dining. Hotel rooms usually range from Basic Poké Room to Lodging Rooms. Most of the larger hotels have their own eateries within the building.

Pelosum, The Capital of Apex

Population: 42,772 (Governor Sebastian Rhodes)

General Info: Pelosum is located in the center of Apex. Due to the capital being a landlocked settlement, it does not have any CLBP base near it. The city was founded in 41 AS, under the command of Lieutenant Thomas Rhodes. Since the capital is so far north and is not on the coast, it does not get much tourism. The settlement has a strong military backing, and is set up to be both research and tamer friendly. It has been known to offer shelter many tamers in Apex.

Pokécenter: There are a surprising six Pokécenters in Pelosum. This is due to the support that the League provides to the military and tamers. Although these are facilities for the Crescent League Department of Health, they are funded by the Crescent League Defense Force. When these facilities are not being used to their full capacity, they are usually used to house supplies for the CLDF. When citizens do not require immediate medical treatment, they usually visit one of the dozen clinics scattered throughout the city.

Researcher/Watchers: The Pelosum Institute of Research is located in the Northern District of the capital. The facility main field of study, under the leadership of Doctor Benjamin Majory, is of Ice type pokégirls. The PIR has been in existence since 230 AS and has not changed its field of study since.

Notable Sites: The city hosts the biggest CLDF base on the island. The settlement was originally a military establishment, like most of the capitals of Crescent. However, unlike most of the capitals, Pelosum was never fully demilitarized. Most of the citizens are descendants of the old army that helped fight Sukebe’s Army back during the Revenge War. Most of the buildings and the area have not changed over the years and tours are given to any tourists who wish to vacation in the city.

Dining/Lodging: Since tourism is not a main form of commerce for Pelosum, there are not many hotels/motels available to tourists. Those that are in business usually only have Flophouse to Decent Rooms. Restaurants are a bit more common, and can be found scattered throughout the entire city. These are nothing fancy, mostly diners and family eateries, but residents still enjoy frequenting these places so they do not need to cook their own meals.

Port City, The Capital of Port Isle

Population: 46,937 (Governess Adrienne Bray)

General Info: Port City is the remains of Portland, Maine, which resides on the eastern coast of Port Isle. During the Revenge War, this city was mostly unaffected by Typhonna, but it and some of the remains of Maine were created into an island. Before Lieutenant Jeffrey Bray, the father of the first Governor Timothy Bray, lead the city under the rule of Captain Frost, many of the survivors were using pokégirls that had turned sides to defend themselves. As Lieutenant Bray began gaining the survivors’ trust, he established his base of operations in this city. It was not until 39 AS when his son renamed the city to Port City. Acting as the main trading town, Port City receives and sends most of the island’s good through this city. This settlement also has a CLBP base located one mile away from the city.

Pokécenter: There are two Pokécenters located within the city, having many small clinics scattered throughout the city. When residents or visitors do not have an emergency, they are referred and treated at one of the clinics, which are also used to purchase medical supplies.

Researcher/Watchers: The Port City Center of Science is located near the center of the settlement. Under the leadership of Doctor Keneth Herring, the team studies conception by pokéwomen. There hope is to be able to find methods to reduce the chances of pokéwomen giving birth to pokékits. Currently, the results have been inconclusive.

Notable Sites: Besides the old sections of the city, which some have been made into historic buildings, there is not much tourism. The ports that deal with trading, cruise ships, emigration/immigration services, etc. are quite large. Some of the food vendors will set up their shops along the walkway, hoping to sell from “fresh foods, just off the boat”.

Dining/Lodging: The hotels that are in the city are scattered around the town, though a good amount of them are established near the docks. These businesses usually have Basic Poké Rooms to Decent Rooms. The restaurants in the city are considered the best in on the island. Most of their supplies are “fresh off the boats”, causing the cooks to be creative in their kitchens.

Thavius, The Capital of Nova

Population: 40,389 (Governor Franklin Garcia)

General Info: Located on the east coastline, Thavius serves as the main port city for Nova. The city hosts a CLBP base that constantly monitors the waters of the settlement and protects trading vessels entering and leaving the capital. The coastline within the city limits are mostly ship ports, leaving the coastline outside the city open for beachgoers. These recreation areas are generally safe, but it is not uncommon to have a feral sighting. The settlement was established by Sergeant Peter Garcia in 40 AS.

Pokécenter: There are three Pokécenters established within the capital’s limits. They are located in the Northern, Southern and Western Districts. These facilities are mainly used by Tamers and for citizens that need emergency medical treatment. When medical treatment is required that is not an emergency, clinics are available, which are found scattered throughout the settlement. Medical supplies can be bought at any location.

Researcher/Watchers: The Thavius Research Institute of Plant-life (TRIP) is the main research facility in Nova and is found in its South District. Under the leadership of Doctor Paula Mallard, the research team’s main goal is the further study plant-life in the league. It should go without saying, but most of the research team is comprised of Plant breeds.

Notable Sites: Although there are not many beaches that are for recreation, the trading ports are a sight to see for travelers who have never seen a port city. Ships carrying imports and exports for the city arrive and depart at all hours, but usually during the day. The food products that arrive are usually sold to the markets and restaurants Other than the trading vessels and military escort ships; there is not much of note within the city. The capitol building is located in the Central District.

Dining/Lodging:  The hotels in the capital are usually found in the Western District, but can be found throughout the city. These businesses usually have room types that there between, but not limited to, Basic Rooms to Basic Poké Rooms. Most of the hotels do not have their own restaurants, but dining businesses can be found throughout the settlement. Dining in Thavius can range from small diners to moderately elegant.
