Vince had been sitting in the lobby of the pokecenter for a while. The only thing he had found to do was use the shower facilities in the center to clean up .The pokecenter staff were taking care of the Spinnertit now, and Jim was caught up in other police business so he couldn't do whatever he still needed Vince for. Finally the older man dropped himself into a piece of lounge furniture across from Vince. “You know, it's funny. Turns out this whole thing with me dragging you to the fights was so that this would happen.”

“What's funny about that?”

Jim let out a long sigh, and was silent for near a minute before continuing. “I wasn't lying when I said I didn't care about enforcing the law anymore. I don't know why, I guess I just got worn out from trying too hard and always getting disappointed. And I always knew Teams and other dumbasses pulled shit like that, but I figured as long as I didn't know about it I didn't have to try to do anything about it. But knowing that Grant would have got away with forcing that girl to threshold if you hadn't been there...

“That's the one thing I told myself I'd never tolerate. I had a partner, years ago. Sterile woman. Jan's actually her sister, so we were close through Jan, 'cause she was good to pokegirls like that. One night, we're raiding a Team and they pegged her with a loveball. Turned her into a Bunnygirl. I should have taken her, but I'm a cop, I think there's no way I could use a Bunnygirl. So I let her be put up for adoption. Nine months later, I'm looking into a report of a dark evolution. Well, it wasn't a real dark evo, not like a Dracass or anything, but tracing the records showed it was the same Bunnygirl, except now...

“Well, I got her away from that guy and now she's my Pam...” Jim lifted up his hat and ran his fingers through his hair. “Threshold ruins the girl's life, Vince. It's bad enough when it happens naturally, but to take someone who would have made it otherwise and turn them into a pokegirl. It's worse than killing them if you ask me.”

Jim fell quiet, and Vince couldn't think of anything to say in response to the story he'd just been told. After a painfully long stretch of silence, Jim diverted his attention from outside the window back to Vince. “Hey, any chance you want to become a tamer? I think you'd do well, better than you would sticking around in this city anyway. I think you're a good kid with some bad blood traits, and the league could use someone like you out there.”

“Why help me all of a sudden?”

Jim reached into his coat and pulled out a business card. “Cause I'm not a bad guy, Vince. Just right now I feel like one... So, as a way to make things up to you for dragging you into an ugly situation, I'm asking if you want me to help you get out there as a tamer without having to bother with the exam or anything. Remember all those friends I told you about? Well, I can get them to waive you, no problem.”

Vince took the card and tucked it in his pocket. “Yeah... ugly. What's going to happen with that girl?”

“Well, since we got who did this to her, we'll hand her over to her family. She's their property now.” Jim got up and pulled his hat down on his head. “Well, you can go home now if you want. Call me, or I'll look you up, if you want to be a tamer that is. Think about it.”

Vince was lost in thought poking at the cafeteria food on the plate in front of him. No one really sat with him ever unless they were someone with almost as many blood traits as he did, making them almost as much of an outsider as he was. Almost, because he was the only one in the school with Tamer's Disease. Two such people came to the table and sat down. They were a dating couple, a rather cute one Vince had to admit.

The boy was nearly two years younger than Vince, but they had wound up in the same grade thanks to Vince failing a year and Zeke, as he was named, starting school early thanks to a birthday that fell in an odd time of the year. The most striking feature of Zeke's was his hair, no argument. It stood straight up from his head and was a glowing, literally, neon blue. Apparently it was enough so that Zeke had to cover it with a cap when he was sleeping. His eyes were also the same blue color, and they too glowed, though the intensity was inconsistent and most of the time you could barely tell. It was when Zeke tapped into his psychic abilities that the light became noticeable, the boy had such a strong psychic type ancestry and was loaded with so many corresponding traits that he could utilize telepathy, psychokinesis, and a range of ESP abilities. The only downside was that in some situations Zeke's mind would become overloaded from all the information, and he'd either freeze up or fall unconscious.

The girl was Cassie, a girl in their grade who had a telepathy blood gift. To most people that meant she was already a pokegirl, and nearly everyone either kept their distance or tried to get close in hopes of scoring a pokegirl whenever she did go through threshold. Zeke was different though, in a lot of ways compared to his classmates, but in this situation he genuinely wanted to date the girl because of simple attraction.

“So you finally find a way out of here but you don't think you want to take it?” Zeke had a tendency to pick up on strong surface thoughts unintentionally, and came into the habit of starting conversations based on what he read. It was annoying at first, but Vince had just gotten used to it.

“Yeah... I'm not sure about it though...”

“Maybe you're not sure, but if you stop thinking about it so much you'll figure out that you want it.” Vince shook his head and smiled at Cassie's words. As usual, the two psychics were right about these kind of things, at least concerning other people. It'd taken them all of the first half of the year to figure out they both had a crush on each other.

“Heh, you're probably right.” Vince leaned back in his chair so that he was rocking it back on only two of its feet. “So what do you guys think I should do with the bounty points I get? Azar might be giving me her old equipment, but it is pretty old. New equipment or another pokegirl?” They spent the rest of the lunch period discussing his different options, where he could go, what breeds he could get and possible names for them. Even after their conversation ended Vince kept thinking about it, and by the time school was done for the day he was sure of at least one thing. He was going to take Jim up on the offer. He was going to become a tamer.

Vince was down in the training room with Ava and Pritha when Azar called them up to see a guest. He unwrapped his hands and tossed the strips of fabric to his Combusticunt. Ava went to Vince's room to wait, Prtiha headed to the kitchen to prepare any refreshments Azar might call for, and Vince headed to the entrance of their home. He tried not to let his displeasure show when he saw that it was Jim, he wasn't sure how successful he was. None of the pokegirls Vince knew to be in Jim's harem were there, the only one with him was a shorter 'girl with light brown hair and glasses. She was carrying a small packet of papers with her.

Jim tipped his hat in greeting before removing it completely and handing it to his pokegirl along with his coat. “Ah, Vince. It's good to see you. And I was just getting reacquainted with your mother, Azar. We met a long while back through a mutual aquaintence.” Both Azar and Vince corrected Jim that Azar was only Vince's legal guardian, Azar offering up the fact that she was sterile and Vince claiming Pritha as his mother. Jim blinked for a second, and then simply muttered, “Ah, my mistake.”

Azar gestured to the living room, “Well Officer Ewald, would you like to have a seat?” The three of them made their way to sit on the sofa and chairs arranged around a coffee table. Pritha came out to ask what people would to drink, and then hovered just outside the entryway to the room in a thinly veiled attempt to eavesdrop. Azar started up the conversation. “So am I correct in assuming you are the one in charge of the training Vince has been assisting you in?” Vince started to confirm but Jim cut him off.

“Actually Ma'am, that was a lie I had Vince tell you on my behalf. The truth is Vince wound up in assisting me in bringing in some members of Team Machismo who had been capturing girls around the city in love balls. We even managed to return one of the victims to her family. I won't go into the details but I found it a fitting reward to see to it that such a remarkable young man with waiving his tamer's exam. I'm here today to oversee the final steps of the process to certify him as a tamer in the Jade Islands League. All that needs to be done is a psychic scan and getting the right signatures on the right lines.”

Azar looked like she couldn't decide between being shocked, proud, or upset, and since she couldn't make up her mind she went back to her usual neutral expression. “Well, that is all rather surprising. I personally would have thought it irresponsible to put someone Vince's age in such a situation, but what's done is done I suppose. Is she the pokegirl that will be perfomring the scan?”

“Ah, no, this is my G-Point, Taliba. I'm afriad I can't keep any paperwork straigt without her. No, I was waiting to ask you permission to release my psychic type.”

Azar smiled politely. “Of course you may release her.” One flash of light later and Becky was sitting on the other side of Jim, and Taliba handed her a pen and the packet of paper.

“Shall we begin then?” Vince nodded, and Becky closed her eyes. “Ok Vince, I need you to close your eyes and relax.” The room got quiet as Becky went through Vince's mind, using telekinesis to fill in the blanks for the last few pages of the paperwork John had brought. After a few minutes, everyone could hear the pen fall to the table as Becky and Vince opened their eyes.

Jim picked up the pen and made a long scribbled signature on the bottom of the last page. He handed the entire packet over to Vince. “And there you go. Just get that to any pokecenter in the league and you're golden. I'll be keeping an eye out for you Vince, good luck with being a tamer.” The police officer stood with his harem following suit, all three making a quick bow before being recalled into their balls or heading to the door. “Oh! One last thing.” Jim stopped in the doorway and pulled a slip of paper out of his pocket. “I was asked to give this to you, it's from the father of that spinnertit.” Vince got up and took the note from John. Written on it was an address, date, and time for the passing that would be held for the former human girl. In a different, much neater, curlier penmanship on the back was written, 'Please come'. “She was asking a lot of questions about you, I answered the few that I could.”

Vince really didn't know what to do at the passing for the girl, Diane Araignee, but her father had told him that he wanted to speak with Vince when he had a chance. So Vince stood almost in the hallway of the small apartment in a rather run down part of the city. There weren't many people attending, as far as Vince could tell it was only some family and a few friends. There was a small shrine set up in the living room, though Vince didn't spend much time looking at it. He really didn't know anyone in the family, he wasn't sure why he was asked to come.

A young boy, just old enough to maybe be starting school, was quietly going around with two old Ladyba 'kits following him. Vince had also seen a Ladyien about who looked old enough to be a pokewoman, Vince wondered if she was the mother. As he let his mind wander he heard the groan of weary door hinges creak open behind him. Turning, he saw a glittering, solid brown eye peaking out of the crack between the door and the frame, but as soon as he noticed the door quickly shut. Acting out of curiosity, he gently knocked on the door and after a few seconds it slowly creaked open. Standing inside the room was the spinnertit from before, dressed in an old baggy shirt with the sides cut open for her extra arms. She was anxious looking, gazing down towards the floor a little with a flush of red spreading across her cheeks, but considering the state Vince had last seen her in she looked like she was doing much better. Unsure of what to say, Vince merely offered a somewhat dumbstruck, “Uh, hi.”

“Hi...” The spinnertit quietly said back. “Do you... want to come in?” Vince accepted the invitation, and the two were soon sitting down on a rather fluffy bed. All about the floor were half packed boxes, partially filled with all the possessions a normal high school girl would own, though not many of the more extravagant items. Vince looked over at the girl sitting a short distance away from him. Her hair went down past her shoulders, it was a plain brunette color. Her eyes were also a dark brown color, but a solid mass of the color that glittered and reflected much more light than a normal eye did. She had a petite body, though judging from a few of the bras Vince spotted still waiting to be packed, her physique had been a little more impressive before she was changed.

Vince's curiosity got the better of him. As far as he understood it, the threshold victims were usually sent off to the ranches before the passing was held. “Um, if you don't mind me asking, why are you still here at your family's place?”

The spinnertit idly started swinging her legs a little. She was leaning back on one set of arms, and had the hands of the other two resting on her thighs and knees. “Dad didn't get ahold of the ranch in time to set up an appointment to get me appraised, so now we have to wait until after the passing is over. It wouldn't have taken so long if mom hadn't fought with him so much about it.”

“Your mother is the Ladyien?”

The spinnertit shook her head. “Mom's like a pure blooded woman. She's having a passing too, for her side of the family. I'm sure there are a lot more people going to that one.” She let out a depressed sigh.

“Oh, so your name is Diane?” Again the spinnertit sadly shook her head.

“No, you can see it out there. Diane... she... she's...” The spinnertit was starting to choke on her sobs as her eyes teared up. Her words were suddenly blurted out before she was completely overwhelmed by her sorrow. “I'm not anyone anymore! I'm just a nameless pokegirl and I'm going to have to go to a ranch where I still won't be anyone! I won't even have a name until I get a tamer. What if I never get a tamer? What I stay as nobody for the rest of my life? Or what if he doesn't like me and he puts me through a conditioning cycle?! Maybe I should... Maybe I should just...” Right before she buried her face in her hands she finally screamed out. “Maybe I should just be fived right now!”

Vince felt horrible. He was the one that asked her about her name, and now she was half curled up in the fetal position bawling her eyes out, scared to death of what fate had in store for her. He'd never really been a sensitive kind of guy, but he felt he had to do something. Vince put his arm around her back, gently rubbing one of her shoulders with his hand. “No...” At first it was all he could think of to say, but after the first word he felt obligated to say more. “No, I don't think you should. I'm sure there are plenty of tamers out there who would love to have a 'girl like you. Just the way you are.” That felt like a lie to him, he had no idea what kind of girl this was or if anyone would want her.

The lie seemed to calm her though, she sat upright and wiped away her eyes after a moment. She looked at him with still puffy, watery eyes, about to speak when a hiccup escaped her. “You-” another hiccup interrupted her mid-sentence, “-think so?”

Vince nodded. Then she hiccuped again. “Do you want something to drink?”

She smiled weakly at him, “If you-” hiccup “you would-” hiccup “-wouldn't mind.”

“No, not at all.” Vince got up and brought back a glass of punch for the spinnertit. She smiled again at him and drank all of the contents, sitting the empty glass on an empty end table at the head of the bed.

“What about you?” She moved a little closer to him as she asked. Vince wasn't sure what he was being asked about so he responded with just a questioning hum. “Would you want a pokegirl like me? That officer said you were a pet owner...” She scooted even closer and leaned her head against his shoulder. “I didn't really notice it at the time, but your smell...” She started to crawl up into his lap, her hair brushing against his neck and falling across her face. “When you were holding me that night. I never noticed that about other boys...” Now she was completely in his lap, her body facing his but her face down at the base of his neck. She breathed in deeply and then continued, speaking like she was almost entranced. “This past week, I've thought about it so much. When I try to sleep, and I...” She pressed herself against him hard enough that they both lost balance and fell together on the bed sheets.

This shouldn't be happening here. Was the first thought through Vince's mind. He was sure everyone else at the passing had heard the pokegirl crying earlier, thankfully no one came to investigate. But he was almost positive they'd take offense at him taming the girl that the wake was being held for in her own bedroom. “Hey I don't think we should-” The Spinnertit didn't even respond, and now she was wrapping her body around his, her arms crossing under his armpits and back. She started entwining her and Vince's legs when Vince decided to be more forceful. “Hey! Knock it off!”

The Spinnertit literally jumped off of him, gaining enough height that she bumped her head against the ceiling. Her landing wasn't very graceful, she just fell down on her butt with three of her hands behind her to catch the rest of her fall. “Ohmygosh! I'm-so-sorry! I just... I just...” Vince sat back up just in time to see her on the verge of tears again. “I don't want to go feral. What if I hurt someone?”

Suddenly an idea came to Vince. He knelt down in front of her and took two of her hands. “Don't worry, you're not going to go feral overnight. I'll talk to your dad and see if he won't let me buy you, then you'll be my pokegirl, and you won't go feral or to the ranches. How does that sound?”

She looked at him and studied his face a moment, as if she couldn't believe what he was saying and was searching for some kind of sign of deception. It must have been that she couldn't find one though, because she took his hands in all six of hers and Vince pulled the two of them up off the floor. She gently hugged him again once they were both standing, and this time Vince returned the embrace to the small, six armed spider 'girl.

“Sorry for keeping you waiting so long. I don't think I've even had a chance to introduce myself.” The Spinnertit's father had just gotten a break to have his talk with Vince. “My name's David, or Dave. I guess you already met my daughter, Di...” The name of his daughter was cut dead right there. Vince could see his body trembling as he clenched his fists. “I didn't even want to have this damn passing.

“You see, the only thing me and Almas, Diane's mother, had in common was that we both had way too much to drink one night. I got her pregnant and we tried to live together for the baby's sake. I did my best to bring in enough money, Almas was so used to being pampered it made things hard but things were working out until my brother died. The Ladyien was his, treated her like his wife and the kits just like his daughters. I couldn't bring myself to turn them away when they meant so much to him, but Almas wouldn't have any of it. She got jealous and having four more mouths to feed meant money got really tight. So she took Diane and went back to her parents.

“We worked out split custody over Diane, she had been living here when those Machismo bastards caught her.” Dave's voice trembled and he had to pause for a moment, but other than that he held things together. “She was actually out looking for a job to help me with the bills when it happened. Almas absolutely hates me now, blames me for the whole thing.

“When I suggested we don't give Diane a passing, that we should keep her around and find a good guy to take her, she completely lashed out. At me, and at Diane. That rabid ByteBitch hurt her so much Diane doesn't even think she deserves her own name anymore. Then Almas dumps her on me, knowing there's no way in hell I can support her.” Now there was an unmistakable rage in his voice. Vince would be scared to see what Dave would do to Almas if she were there right then.

Dave took in a deep breath and sighed. “It's all such a mess... The boy we would had set up to take her's been a tamer for a couple years now, he doesn't want to deal with training up such a low power 'girl now. Diane tells me I should just go ahead and sell her, use the money to buy myself a 'girl I can become a tradesman with. She's acting brave around me but I can hear her crying herself to sleep because she's so scared, and it's killing me...” Dave suddenly blinked and looked at Vince. The entire story had just flowed out of him, like a dam wall had broken down and he couldn't stop himself 'till everything had emptied out. “Sorry... you probably aren't interested in my life story.”

“No, that's ok. I actually wanted to ask you, could I buy her from you?”

Dave was completely dumbfounded for a moment. “Buy her? You give me your word you'll be good to her and, please, take her.” Vince had to argue back and forth with him that it wouldn't feel right to take her as a gift. Finally, the young and older man settled on trading Vince's starter for the Spinnertit. After that was decided, Vince and Dave, along with the Spinnertit, made their way to the nearest pokecenter. First Vince had to finish the final steps of becoming a tamer, the most significant portion being the blood test and DNA cataloging. Then there was the hassle of trading the voucher for his starter over to Dave, but that was eventually taken care of and the only thing left to do was say their goodbyes.

Dave handed over the Spinnertits pokeball, speaking to Vince but looking at the pokegirl that was his daughter. “Take good care of her. If there's any way I can ever help you, feel free to ask. I won't let you convince me I don't owe you that. And feel free to visit any time, just try to call ahead, I may be busy.” Dave chuckled to himself. “What, with me getting a new pokegirl at my age... I'd better get myself back in shape. Be well, Vince.” With that Dave bowed down low, his eyes to the floor. Then he stood up, took one last pained look at the Spinnertit, let out a deep sigh, and left.

Vince felt soft fingers slip between his while two more arms wrapped around his. The Spinnertit was still watching the door her father had used to leave the building, her eyes watering up and her lip quivering. Vince gave her hand a reassuring squeeze, and her gaze shifted over to him and she mustered up the will to smile. “Come on, we'll go back to my place and I'll introduce you to my mom. She's always told me she wants to personally meet any pokegirls that join my harem. I think she'll like you.” The Spinnertit nodded to him.

“Is it... ok if I still hold your hand while we walk?”

“I wouldn't mind at all.”

“Ok, first things first. Do you want me to call you Diane? I know that was your name from before when I was talking to your dad.” The Spinnertit looked uncomfortable at being asked that question. She gazed downward or at the walls, away from Vince, and rubbed the tops of her hands and forearms. Finally she sadly shook her head. “Ok then, I'm going to need to give you a new one.”

Vince and his new pokegirl were back at his house. He was sitting at a rarely used desk in his room with Azar's laptop from her study. “Ok, let's see.” Vince ran a few searches for words that he thought would suit the spider type pokegirl. He finally found one he liked after entering 'silk' as a keyword. He picked up his pokedex and punched in six letters. “Alright. It's official now. Your name's Reshmi.”

Reshmi came up behind the chair he was sitting in and leaned over it to hug him around his neck from behind. “Thank you, I like it. You know, this whole room smells kinda like you.” She started absentmindedly running her hands up and down Vince's sides as she started to nuzzle the back of his head.

Vince squirmed a little in reaction to the contact. “That kind of tickles, Reshmi.”

“Oh?” There was a tone of mischief in her voice, and all six hands moved to poke and rub around Vince’s ribs. Vince jumped out of his chair and grabbed as many hands as he could to defend himself, but the four remaining arms worked swiftly to remove his shirt and continue the tickle-barrage. Vince gave up on restraining Reshmi and launched a counter-offensive, testing anywhere he could think of on the Spinnertit’s smooth skin for any sensitive spots. He found a pretty good one under her arms. The two wrestled, tickled, and laughed around Vince’s room before tripping and falling onto the bed. Reshmi gazed up at Vince as he laid on top of her, he could feel her body quivering and the rise and fall of her chest as she breathed heavily in anticipation. It took a moment for Vince to realize that he would be in complete control of this taming session. Although he by no means let himself be dominated by the Combusticunt, he couldn't remember taming Ava when she didn't at least get some say in how things went.

Vince lowered his body so he was resting his weight on his elbows, letting him slip one arm behind Reshmi's neck and use the other hand to brush away a few strands of hair that had fallen in front of her face. Taming Ava always seemed like he was too busy to even enjoy kissing his pokegirl, so he decided that he wanted to try taking things slow with his new one. Reshmi wrapped her arms around him and pulled herself up into the kiss, letting out a faint gasp right before their lips touched. They kissed gently for a moment, then kissed passionately for several. Vince wrapped the Spinnertit in an embrace and they both fell onto the mattress once again. Reshmi started to moan pleadingly into his mouth so he broke off the lip-lock and stood up over her on his knees.

The shirt she was still wearing was a beat up old button up with several holes in it besides the two for her four extra arms. Several buttons were missing but the ones that remained did an admirable job of preserving her dignity. Until Vince unfastened them and spread the fabric open, leaving the sleeves on her arms but exposing her front completely. The three sets of humble breasts struck him as odd, but each set on its own was delightful. Like the rest of her body, her abdominal area had little muscle definition nor fat. Probably the most interesting feature of her stomach was that her belly button was pierced, a simple silvery metallic stud. Vince's eyes rested on the glittering piece of jewelry as Reshmi's stomach rose and fell with each breath until his eyes drifted lower to a tight fitting pair of bikini cut white and pink panties. He ran his fingers along the inside of the waistband. The fabric was soft, something like cotton. “These are cute.” Reshmi only blushed deeply at the words and touch.

Vince moved so he was once again over top of his pokegirl, and resumed kissing her, first again on the lips but then moving his way down her body until his mouth hovered overtop the first breast he came to. He pressed his lips lightly against the perky nipple only to draw away from it quickly when he felt something like extremely fine hair stuck to his mouth. He wiped his hand over his lips to remove whatever it was. Holding his finger out in front of him revealed a couple of very thin, silvery strands of silk stuck to him. Using the sheen from the light to guide him down, the strand lead all the way back to the nipple he had intended to suckle on.

Reshmi sat up, “What happened? Did I do something wrong?” Vince chuckled and the Spinnertit's face changed to a relieved expression.

“No, I should have known that would happen.” When Reshmi tilted her head in confusion Vince reached out and rolled a nipple between his fingers. Besides bringing out a low moan from the pokegirl he also pulled his fingers away with a much thicker strand of silk, one that was actually many smaller strands loosely bunched together. “Spinnertits spin their webs from their, well, tits. I just got some silk in my mouth and it kinda freaked me out.” Reshmi giggled a little at the revelation. “Well, now that that's killed the mood, what are we going to do to bring it back?” Personally, Vince had ran out of ideas for the time being. Taming with Ava would have been done and over with by this point, and they would be gearing up for the second round. But the way Reshmi was bashfully stuttering made it clear she wasn't Ava. “Why don't you take over?”

Reshmi's jaw dropped a little in disbelief. “Me?!”

Vince grinned at the Spinnertit. “Yeah, I mean you must have had fantasies if nothing else.” Reshmi blushed all the way down to the base of her neck and averted her eyes from him, but Vince gently lifted her chin so they were staring face to face. “Come on, there's really no reason to be shy.” She just looked at him for a moment more, then leaned forward to resume kissing once again. Just as it was seeming like they'd never get much farther than that, she brought one set of hands up and started running them through Vince's hair. They made their way to the edge of the bed and then standing on the floor as another set of hands was gripping the fabric making up the back of Vince's shirt, while the last one was pulling up the hem. She broke off the kiss just long enough for Vince to become topless, and like Vince had done to her before, she began to kiss her way down his neck, though instead of working her way down the center of his body she moved along the tops of his shoulders first. Two sets of hands moved down his body at the same rate as her mouth, though the lowest pair were already down at his waistline, unfastening his pants. As the last of his outerwear fell to the ground, Reshmi was nuzzling along his collar bone as soft fingers slipped their way into his boxers. His member jumped in excitement when it and her hands made contact, and then quickly rose to a full erection as she wrapped her fingers gently around the shaft and ran her hand along the sensitive skin. She rested her head in the crook of his neck and softly whispered, “Now...”

Vince turned his head to try to look at her, his nose buried in her hair. It had a pleasant smell, something almost like vanilla. “Now?” One hand pulled out of his boxers, and the other one freed his cock from the waistband as more hands removed the last piece of clothing from his body.

“Now... lower me to the bed.” Vince complied, lifting her off her feet and laying her down on the edge of the bed. She lifted her legs up, knees together. Vince ran his hands along the underside of her buttocks, taking her panties with them. He guided the underwear up her thighs, over her knees, and then let the piece of clothing fall before she slipped it the rest of the way over her toes. Finally, both of them fully naked with Vince over top of her once again, she parted her legs, offering herself to the young man that was now her tamer. She cried out in a mix of surprise and delight with his first thrust into her.

Reshmi was most definitely not Ava. Although the Spinnertit had made it for nearly the same duration as the Combusticunt usually went for, she wound up in a state that as near as Vince could figure was 'fucked silly and passed out'. She did manage to keep ahold of her tamer while sleeping though, so Vince settled in next to her for an afternoon nap. Vince awoke to the sound of panicked gibberish. Reshmi was awake, and apparently alarmed that she was going through taming shock. He held her by the shoulders and gently told her, “Reshmi, calm down. You're just going through taming shock.” The Spinnertit obeyed, but still looked at him with uncertainty. “It means you're my pokegirl.” He informed her as he pulled her in to an embrace. She returned it, and after they moved away from each other she looked pleased. “Come on, let's go clean up before anyone else gets home.”

They showered together, Vince finding it amusing that the four extra arms didn't help the Spinnertit wash her own back any more effectively than he could with just his two. They washed each other though and then the closeness lead to another taming under the water, Reshmi held up in the air with her legs around his waist and her hands gripping the tops of the frosted glass walls for the shower stall. Vince put on a clean set of clothes but couldn't find anything that would fit Reshmi with her six arms, so she put the modified old shirt on once again, along with her cute panties. They were sitting on the couch in the living room together, Vince showing her photos in an album Azar kept when she, Ash, and Shahri returned home. Azar raised her voice so it carried from the entry way. “Vince, Pritha took Ava to the gym to run her through the ropes, since you'll be leaving on your journey soon. You might want to run out there to...” Azar stopped mid-sentence when she entered the living room, spotting the new-comer in her home. “Oh. And who might this be, Vince?”

Vince stood up, Reshmi following suit and bowing politely to Azar and her harem. “Azar, this is Reshmi. Her family was in kind of a tough situation after she became a pokegirl, so I traded her dad for my starter.”

Azar showed a side of hers that Vince rarely saw as she pulled the Spinnertit into a tight hug. It was her genuinely caring side, and she gently patted Reshmi on the back while cooing. “Poor thing, you'll be ok here. You'll be ok with Vince.” It was a minute before they broke away from the hug, and Reshmi was crying yet smiling at the same time. A mix of nonsense syllables escaped her lips. “Oh, looks like he's already been taking care of you.” Azar playfully winked at the very embarrassed pokegirl, and Vince was dumbfounded at how... not normal, Azar was acting. Maybe it was because she was around a threshold victim, but she was hardly ever nurturing or teasing. She turned to look at Vince, an unusual, at least as far as Vince knew, smile on her face. “So, when do you think you'll be leaving?”

Vince shrugged his shoulders. “I don't know, I figure it'll only take a day or so to get everything ready, I might be able to make it out of here by this weekend.”

Azar nodded her head, and then picked up the fabric of Reshmi's shirt between two fingers. “Well, one thing you're going to have to be sure to do, is get her something actually made for her breed. This won't last very long at all out in the wilderness.” The five of them sat down in the living room, and almost cheerfully started planning out what Vince would need to start his journey.

Vince was standing outside Azar's, and his former, home with a tough old hiking backpack on his back. Strapped to it was an older model of the PPHU. Ava had another, similar pack on, this one carrying the tent they'd be sleeping in. Reshmi had a lighter pack, but also was carrying all the cookware, since it turned out she was the most skilled when it came to preparing meals. They had picked up a couple of outfits for the Spinnertit yesterday from a second hand store.

Pritha had gone back inside to wait in the house, it was the only way she was going to be able to let Vince go. Azar shook her head and pulled Vince into a hug. It felt a little awkward, but Vince got the impression it was genuine. “Be sure to call every now and then, for her sake at least. And you're free to stop by here any time you're back in town, I'm sure Pritha will be here to let you in.” Ash and Shahri both embraced the boy who they had raised as a son as well, with the Chimera pulling him tight against her chest and kissing the top of his head along with both his cheeks at the same time. And then the goodbyes were over with and Vince and his two pokegirls headed off down the road, towards the edge of the city and the wilderness.

“That felt... strange.” Vince muttered, mostly to himself.

“Why?” Reshmi quickened her pace to move up beside him.

“I don't know. I guess I was expecting more of a good riddance than a fond farewell.”

Reshmi looked thoughtful for a moment, then replied, “Maybe it's just one of those things where you'll get along better now that you don't have to live in her home.” Vince nodded his head a little. Reshmi glanced back down the road. “Will we be back here ever?”

“Yeah, we'll kind of have to to catch a ferry at least.” Reshmi looked a little downhearted at that, so Vince added, “I'm sure I'll want to visit again, sometime. Right now though, it feels too good to be on my own.” He tugged the shoulder straps on his pack a little tighter and quickened his pace a little. The buildings were thinning out fast and he could see where the road ahead became nothing more than a beaten path. He was finally setting out on his journey as a tamer, and he wasn't going to turn back any time soon.
