Aurora growled at the screen as she looked at the test results. "I just don't get it! We've run these three times and each time a new trait pops up!"

Trance sat on the exam table with his eyes closed, slowly rocking his head form left to right. It was a form of self hypnosis that he had found worked extremely well for meditative purposes.

"Read the first list for me please."

Aurora nodded and picked up her pokédex. "Alright. The original and officially posted list of blood traits. For Blood Gifts, we have enhanced sight. taste, hearing and smell, as well as Endurance, Recovery, and Longevity. For Blood Curses we have Rebel."

Trance processed the information again, imagining it rolling along the floor in his head as it tilted with the motion. "Okay. Now Zetta, please read off the new list."

Zetta's avatar appeared on the screen of the laptop.

"Blood Gifts: Enhanced senses of sight, taste, hearing and smell. Also, Endurance, Recovery, and Longevity. New items to the list are: Blood Gift - Thermal tolerance to heat. Blood Curse - Monster Out Variant. Records from The Organization indicate variant is called Beast Mode. Unsure as to Blood Curse classification, however security records indicate it may be due to either decreased mental capacity, or emotional transformation catalyst. Final item: Blood Curse - PokeGene level 1. Traits are sharpened canines, extended claws, dragonic pupils."

Trance continued rocking his head, allowing the information to line up in his mind. "They removed my rebel curse, but gave me a tolerance to heat, and that monster form." He was silent for a minute as he thought. "The PokeGene is most likely a carryover from the Beast mode, indicating they probably haven't mastered their technique."

Zetta chimed in. "Security records indicate you were their most successful test. Classification of the work on you is full success. Now able to move on to phase 3."

Aurora turned to Zetta. "What's Phase 3?"

"File not found. One moment." Zetta appeared again on the screen. "Files from that project are hidden on a ghost drive. It will take me a while to retrieve the files without attracting suspicion."

"Go for it. Download any files you can on genetic engineering that you can find in their system as well. I'd like to know exactly what they were trying to accomplish with this," Aurora said with crossed arms.

Trance was off in his own little world for a moment and finally came back to reality. "Aurora, collect our belongings and our girls. We need to be ready to split when the league arrives."

"But-"

"Yes. But. Your butt to be precise. Get it in gear. We only have a half hour until they are scheduled to arrive, and I don't want them thinking we did anything other than snoop around. That means anything you think might be useful, make it look as though it was never there."

Aurora sighed and saluted. "Yes, sir."

--------------

"Why are they always late?" Trance asked as he looked at the clock on the wall.

The newly ebony feathered Larix grinned as she stared at a fireball she had formed in her hand. "They're probably only doing it to get on your nerves, boss."

Trance rolled his eyes and looked out the window. "You're probably right. Do we have everything set to go?"

Aurora nodded as she looked over her pokédex. "Everything we had the morning of the abduction is accounted for, and the three girls who want us to find them new homes are off with Kara who is storing them safely away. Except for Zetta that is."

Dina raised her hand from her seat. "Speaking of Zetta, what are we supposed to tell the military about her when they get here?"

Trance turned and looked at his Armsmistress. "That, my dear, is a very good question, and as soon as I come up with an equally good answer for it, I'll be sure to let you know."

Larix grinned again. "Ah yes. Return of the ever popular Plan-S."

Saravi raised an eyebrow and cocked her head to the side. "Plan-S?"

"Seat-of-your-pants," Aurora said with a giggle. "Sometimes the best way through a situation is to feel it out as it plays through."

"And our Fearless Leader over there happens to be the Grand Champion of the 'I Really Hope This Works' technique," Kara said as she returned to the room carrying a small pack.

"What's in the bag?" Trance asked as he watched his Lady Luck sit down.

"Nothing really. Just the three pokéballs, a few pieces of tech that Zetta might want to look at, and a small flask of something called Nitro-Glycerine."

"Flask of WHAT?!?" Trance asked, his expression identical to Aurora's.

Kara giggled and shook the bag hard making everyone in the room panic a little. "Kidding! I grabbed a couple canisters of laughing gas that were just laying around. Figured we may be able to make use of them eventually."

Trance's heart resumed it's normal pace and he slowly ran his fingers through his long hair. "Laughing gas? Are you sure you're not a Jokette?"

"Positive," Kara said as she set the bag down. "If I was a Jokette, I'd be far more fond of knives than I am. Plus, I don't feel crazy."

"Feel it or not, you've gotta be to stick around with him for so long," Larix said as she put out her fireball.

Kara giggled. "Nah. I knew from the first time we tamed that I would do anything for him so long as he kept giving it to me with that much enthusiasm."

It was now Trance's turn to laugh. "I'm glad to know that my sexual prowess is what has kept you with me for so long."

"Well, that's better than blind obedience I suppose," came a familiar voice from behind Trance. The tamer spun in place to see Major Steven Melborne flanked by a pair of soldiers with full face masks and assault rifles and a couple water-types behind them.

"I swear you must have some ghost-type in you. There isn't a person on this planet that has snuck up on me twice without my hearing them," Trance explained with a slight smile as he took the man's outstretched hand.

Melborne grinned "Years of practice, Kid."

One of the tamers behind Melborne held a hand to their ear and nodded. "Major," began the very female voice, "Team 2 said the sweep is clear. They even found a few party favors in the cell blocks."

The Major raised an eyebrow but Trance just shrugged. "Figured you'd enjoy pumping them for information."

Steven smiled and nodded. "That we will. Is there a reason the walls on this floor are coated in blood? I believe I even spotted some on the ceiling."

Trance's smile faltered as the question left the Major's lips. "The fight was rather messy. I'd really rather not talk about it."

Melborne nodded. "Fair enough. Some things are better left unspoken. What can you tell me about this facility?"

Trance shrugged. "Not much really. It's some type of medical research base and didn't have many people in it. We were confronted by their security team who were armed with Fire-types when we tried to escape. That team was beaten with only a single casualty on their side, though we did sustain a few injuries ourselves." Trance nodded towards the now black-feathered Larix who was again entertaining herself by igniting her hand and watching as the flames danced across her plumage.

Melborne's eyebrows rose in surprise, the older man looking back at Trance as he continued talking. "The only girls we found were the ones used by the security team, and I will be taking them with me so they can be given to tamers who will treat them properly. I have a friend who trains fire-types almost exclusively, and he'd be able to find them homes without breaking a sweat."

Melborne rolled his eyes at the joke. "We can't let you take them. They are witnesses until further notice."

Trance shook his head. "I already figured you'd say that, but it's pointless. Beyond the basic operation and location, they weren't told anything of value." Trance could tell Melborne was going to deny him again, but Trance cut him off. "And at any rate, I can't leave them even if you say otherwise. I gave them my word that I would find them good homes, and I've never broken a promise."

Major Melborne grinned at that and shook his head. "Well I'd hate to be the reason you broke a record like that. Is there anything else you need to tell me?"

Trance thought for a moment and nodded. He signaled to Aurora who was guarding the door now and she left to grab Zetta. "Yes. This branch had a Synthan evolution Video Girl Named Zetta Byte. She has been most helpful the last couple hours and is currently doing a bit more digging to try and find out exactly what they were doing here. I have also given her my word that I will take her with me, however she will be joining my personal harem."

When Melborne opened his mouth Trance once again cut him off. "Rest assured that I will not interfere with you asking her questions. However since she is a Synthan evolution that means her life disk is a computer. That means that you will have an easy way to contact either me or her, so her coming with us will not impact your questioning in the slightest. I intend to keep her out of a pokéball unless seriously injured so that she will be always available. Therefore, you have no reason to deny her a chance at freedom either. She has expressed a desire not to work for any organization such as this one or our own Government, and having her around will make things far easier for myself as well."

Major Melborne once again sighed and smiled. "Once again I find myself unable to disagree with your position. You may bring the girls with you, but if I find out you're up to no good with that Video Girl I'll have to come hunt you down myself. Are we clear?"

Trance grinned and nodded. "I promise not to use her incredible power for purposes of evil."

Trance grinned wide as Zetta and Aurora walked in together. The virtual display that acted as Zetta's eyes showing what Trance believed was a look of satisfaction. "And speak of the electric devil. Zetta, this is Major Steven Melborne of the JLSF."

Zetta bowed slightly. "Melborne, Steven Andrew. Graduated 2nd in his class from Officer Training 13 years ago. Managed to reach rank of Major within 2 years, and has refused several attempts to promote him to Lieutenant Colonel since then."

The Major grinned. "Once you get much Higher than Major, you start becoming nothing more than a desk jockey."

Zetta's grin matched the Major's own. "That's what then Colonel Jones quoted you saying after the second attempt to promote you any farther 9 years ago. After the fourth try 2 years ago, Major General Jones stated in his report that to remove you from the field with such a promotion while you were still physically fit enough to do the job would be a true waste, and he recommended any further promotions be held off until you hit year 20 of your service. However, your security clearance is still that of a 4 star General."

"I really oughta visit that old bastard sometime. Now get out of my personnel file. Those are for Military eyes only."

Zetta continued grinning and saluted. "Yes sir."

Trance spoke up again and Melborne turned to face him. "So, Major, When do we leave? I'd really like to put on a pair of my own clothes, and I have a few girls that need a bit of attention before too long."

The Major nodded and turned to the woman who had spoken moments ago. "Lieutenant, tell the boys to drop the weekender and warm up the chopper. We are going to stay here while Jones and Daniels escort Mr. Havok back to Azalea."

Trance continued staring out the window next to him. He had never even thought about flying before, especially in one of the leagues most well protected planes. But here he was, watching as a flock of Racks abruptly changed course to avoid the machine.

"First time flyin'?" the red headed Irishman strapped into the opposite bench asked, eying the same flock Trance had just noticed.

The young tamer nodded and watched the trees below them move like a strange green ocean. "I've spent all my life on the ground, and joining the military was never an option because of my rebel curse, so I never really gave flying much thought."

The man nodded. "This is one of da best perks of tha job. Sure the pay is decent, and there's lots o' opportunity fer adventure, but when tha skies are clear, flyin' can be one of tha best feelin's known to mankind. Only one I can think of that's better is tha love and adoration of a beautiful woman." He tilted his head towards the Chocolate furred Lopiki next to him who's eyes were closed with a meditative look, her ears twitching slightly every so often.

Trance grinned and looked over at Larix who had the same look on her face, though her breathing suggested she was actually sleeping. "I quite agree."

20:14, September 2nd 312 AS, Azalea Town

Trance walked into the Pokecenter with Larix and Kara flanking him, and smiled at the Nurse on duty. The purple streaks in her otherwise pink hair told Trance that she didn't like blending in.

"Good evening sir, how may I help you?"

"I would like a room for the night, as well as the bags containing our belongings." He placed his pokedex on the counter and the Nurse Joy plugged it in to her own console.

"Ah yes. I tripped over that pile before I clocked in today. Just one moment." She was gone less than a minute before she returned with the three pokepacks. "Are these them?" Trance nodded and took them from her, handing one to each of his girls and slinging his own over a shoulder. "Alright, your room is going to be at the end of that hallway on the right hand side."

Trance smiled at her and bowed a little. "Thank you for your help Sarah. Enjoy the rest of your shift."

Trance wasn't sure if that pink on her face had been there before he bowed, but he was certain he had made an impression. The trio made it to the room and set their stuff aside. Trance cracked his neck and released most of his harem, leaving only Seria and Marci in their pokeballs, while Zetta's Life disk was placed on the table with the screen facing the bed. All the girls looked around as they stretched before turning on their tamer who had just removed the borrowed shirt.

Hunger.

That was the only thing he could see in their eyes as the fabric of the shirt cleared from his vision. Aurora Licked her lips, while Kara's grin widened. Trance raised his arms above his head, interlocking his fingers, and stretched out his back a little before he spoke, several vertebra popping at the action. "So, who's ready for a little bonding?"

----------------

Trance sighed as he looked at the ceiling, the heap of girls surrounding him breathing softly as they all dreamed. Out of the corner of his eye he saw Zetta become physical and reach over to grab the pokeballs of his belt. One by one Zetta returned each member of his harem until the only He and Zetta remained.

The Video Girl bit her lower lip lightly as she slowly made her way over to the bed. Her skintight jumpsuit had shifted so that it only covered her arms past her shoulders and her legs from mid-thigh down. Zetta rans her hands slowly over her exposed flesh, using a light magnetic charge to make her skin tingle. "Now that you have reclaimed your harem, I wish to fully join it. Please Trance, become my master."

Not being one to argue with a lady in need, Trance reached out and grabbed Zetta's hand, pulling her down to him. He rolled so his body was slightly on top of hers and pressed his lips to hers as his hands roamed her body. He felt a slight static as he did so, but it served to kick his senses into overdrive, releasing the animal desire to claim this woman as his.

His tongue slid across the nape of her neck, eliciting a gasp of pleasure from Zetta as his hand found it's way to her core, his fingers slowly beginning to investigate the warm lips at the apex of her smooth thighs. His dexterous digits quickly found her button and quickly went to work driving her mad with desire. Judging by the dew forming on her petals, Trance guessed she was rapidly nearing the edge, and with a single powerful thrust of a finger, she became a twitching mass of pleasure, her moans echoing off the walls were the sweetest music Trance knew.

As her breathing steadied, Zetta looked at her tamer who had the same hungry look on his face that the rest of the harem had earlier, and a shiver ran down her spine a his tongue ran across his lips. "I'd say that's enough of an appetizer. I hope you're ready for the main course."

08:17, September 3rd 312 AS, Azalea Town Pokecenter

Trance rolled out of bed and tilted his head until he heard the low pop from the base of his neck. He sighed in relief and looked behind him to the vision still filling in the rest of the bed. He smiled and stood up, walking over to his bag and releasing a pair of shorts along with an empty pokeball. He walked back to the bed and tapped Zetta on the shoulder lightly to wake her up. She looked over and saw the pokeball in his hand. She smiled and reached out to touch it. She was instantly absorbed in the red capture light and the ball pinged it's capture almost before she had been fully absorbed.

Trance smiled and released her, her outfit having shifted back to her normal black data-stripped bodysuit in the process. She stretched a little and walked over to the table where she set her life disk down and quickly reverted to her VR form. "Thank you Trance. Last night was lovely."

The tamer smiled and sat down in front of her. "The pleasure was all mine. So have you sorted through the data you acquired yesterday?"

The Virtual female on the screen shook her head. "There is a lot of data and all of it is encrypted. It could take me a couple weeks to get through it all."

Trance nodded. "I understand. Just do the best you can and tell me what you find."

"Yes master," she said with a smile.

Trance rolled his eyes and left the room to find breakfast for his harem. When he returned, there was a line of naked females chattering amongst themselves forming a line outside the bathroom. Inside the shower was running and he heard the voices of Aurora and Kara. Trance smiled and set two heaped over trays of food down on the table. Larix, who had been sitting with Zetta, was the first to grab a few pastries.

"Good morning Master," She said with a wide smile before kissing him and walking back to Zetta. As Larix sat down and bit into her jalapeño roll, Zetta shifted back to her human form and accepted one of the offered danishes from her new harem sister.

Trance turned back to the shower line as his starter girls walked out of the bathroom wrapped in towels. "Alright ladies, food is here and you can have some as soon as you bathe." As expected, the line began to move much faster, the girls continuing the two at a time method of bathing.

As soon as everyone had been washed and fed, including Marci and Dina, Trance put everybody back in their respective pokeballs except for Zetta, Larix, Kara, and Aurora. Trance pulled Seria's ball out of his pokepack and walked over to the bed. Larix remained seated but on edge, while Kara was standing just behind Trance. He hit the release on the ball and the black furred female appeared on top of the blankets. Through their bond Trance could feel the pain, fear, and confusion she felt. She looked quickly around the room, obviously on edge, but she remained seated. Until her eyes fell on Trance, who she proceeded to lunge at before planting kisses all over his sprawled body.

Aurora noticed how she was rubbing against him and pulled Kara back a little. "She's definitely feral, but she seems to recognize Trance," Aurora said softly, but loud enough for everyone to hear. "Try not to set her off and we won't have to heal Trance as well."

Trance heard Aurora, but was already rolling around with Seria, her sense of relief combined with her lust washing over him even as her confusion remained. She wanted him, that was all that he knew. Who was he to argue?

--------------

Seria had finished her third platter of food and was looking quite a bit rounder in the stomach.

Kara giggled as she watched. "I guess two weeks can give a person one hell of an appetite."

Seria nodded rapidly as she finished shoving a bowl of fruit into her face. Trance rolled his eyes and set his hand on her shoulder as she chugged a large glass of water. "I think that's enough for now. We need to get you fed, not make you sick."

Seria gasped loudly as she finished her water and looked up at Trance with a big smile.

Trance flashed a similar smile and turned to Aurora. "I need to go talk to the nurse. You're in charge until I get back."

Aurora gave a half salute as she examined Seria again.

Trance threw on a his shoes and moved quickly down the hall to the front desk. On the way, he passed a white scaled Dragon type with her tamer, and Trance could only stare as the magnificent beauty loomed over him and her tamer both.

Trance came out of his thoughts right as he was about to run into a wall. Sadly his feet didn't get the memo and the tamer found himself once again attempting to leave an imprint of his face in the solid surface.

The black haired tamer shook his head and rubbed his cheek even as the Nurse Joy on duty hurried over to check on him. He wasn't sure, but he could have sworn she had the ghost of a smile still on her face. "Are you alright sir?"

Trance fired off his trademark grin as the the nurse took his face in her hands. "I am now that you're here. I've been trying to make a pretty girl laugh all day."

The Nurse Joy's hair color seemed to bleed from her scalp to the rest of her face in record time. "Please forgive me sir. I didn't mean to laugh."

Trance rolled his eyes and huffed. "And I didn't mean to run into the wall, but that doesn't mean I'm going to apologize to it. Hell, I would have laughed at me too."

The Nurse Joy let free a full blown smile this time as she pulled her hands back, her examination complete. "As you wish sir. Is there anything else I can do for you?"

Trance nodded. "There is actually. I have a girl who needs a psych exam, and I was hopping you had someone on staff who could perform such a task."

The Nurse frowned slightly and shook her head. "Unfortunately not. Whenever we need a shrink in here, we normally contact the police and they send an Alakawham named Samantha. I can contact them for you if you would like."

"That would be very much appreciated, thanks."

14:26, September 3rd 312 AS, Unknown location

A woman wearing a dark green uniform charged down the hallway holding a single sheet of paper. Most of the other people wearing similar outfits jumped out of her way. That is until she ran into the Green haired Neo-Iczel.

The poor girl ran into the Neo like a brick wall and bounced back, landing hard on her posterior with her long brown hair covering her face. The runner slowly brushed the hair out of her face and looked up to see the last person she had hoped to be there. Unfortunately for her, the Neo was also the intended recipient of the message.

The raven haired Neo snarled at the girl and her hand lit up with green energy as she charged her Magic Fist technique. "You better have a damn good reason for running into me Catherine."

The human girl's eyes widened at the sight of the pokegirl's favorite attack. She quickly shoved the piece of paper towards the non-glowing hand of the Neo and scrambled to her feet where she saluted. "That message came in just a moment ago. The R&D branch missed their check-in so the Video Girls tried to access the security feed. Problem is they were locked out of the system. They finally got in, but there appears to be a JLSF squad inside, and there is no sign of the R&D team, just a lot of red smears."

The Neo rolled her eyes and killed her attack. "Doc's not gonna like this," she stated flatly. She turned on her heels and flew down the long narrow hall she guarded towards the large reinforced blast doors. The two guards didn't flinch as the powerful female neared.

The pokegirl figured they may have been asleep, but with the dark tinted visors that were mounted on their helmets, there was no way to tell either way. She did know that one hit from the large guns each one carried would blow a pretty good sized hole in a person, and that even she would have trouble walking a hit like that off.

Turning her attention back to her mission, the girl landed and placed her hand on a biometric scanner at chest height on one of the doors. "Shego Alpha Zed," stated the Neo, causing the door to hiss and open slowly.

She walked down the short secondary corridor to where another security team guarded a second door. these two were armed just as heavily, however this time there were a pair of automated turrets mounted into the ceiling above each one. Upon seeing Shego, the armed pair hit their respective buttons in perfect sync allowing the door to open.

Shego's senses were instantly hit with the unmistakeable aroma of burning hair, followed closely by her master's voice. "Put him out damnit! His flaming hair product might release chemicals into the air that can have adverse reactions with Subject Gamma!"

The hiss of a fire extinguisher ended the man's screaming, reducing him instead to a shivering groaning mass. The Neo's eyes rolled at what was left of the man and caught sight of the doctor's boots sticking out from underneath the new A.T.T. prototype. "Hey Doc! Bad news from R&D."

The boots jumped, quickly followed by a tool clattering to the floor and a string of expletives Shego had never heard before. She was pretty sure they were ancient Latin. "If it isn't life or death, then ensure they find out who's really running this show!" the Doctor barked as he slid out from under the vehicle.

Shego walked over and handed the sheet to him. "Sorry Dr. D, but looks like somebody already beat me to the punch." The last word was punctuated by a flash of green energy from her free hand.

The black haired man took the sheet and skimmed it quickly. By the time he reached the end he was smiling. "Good. That means their latest experiment was even more of a success than they had previously informed us." The man stood up and walked over to a computer console where he typed in a few lines and brought up the desired information on the massive overhead display. "It appears the genetic transformations become far more stable over time, so the changes we made to Gamma will fully take root by next week." The man turned to his alpha and grinned widely. "Two months from now we will be ready to begin mental conditioning, then we can release her upon the world."

Shego looked to the side of the room where several assistants were taking readings on the glowing tube, the naked woman inside maturing faster than she normally would have believed possible. But after working for her master for the last few years, she had long since learned that trying to understand all the techno-babble that was spouted when you asked a simple question was mostly useless when your first two instincts in any situation were either kill or fuck, so she didn't even bother asking how Gamma was able to grow at her current rate.

Their conversation was disrupted when the doors opened and a portly man with a cigar strode in. "DRAKEN!" Boomed the man, causing the still smoldering lab technician to whimper and slink off into the darkness.

Dr. Draken glared at the cigar but the look was quickly wiped from his face. "Mr. Waters, I must once again insist that you put out your cigar while in here. There are many unstable chemicals and the smallest spark could-"

The man never seemed to register the doctor's protest. Instead he was too busy ogling the naked woman in the tube. "How long until the project is completed? I've given you all the funding and test subjects your little heart could ever ask for, yet still I don't have my super weapon!"

Draken swallowed the growl that tried to escape from his lips. "6 months, sir."

"That's too long Draken. After how much money I have wasted on your failed ideas, you're lucky I haven't put an end to you already." Shego watched as the man inhaled, causing his fowl smelling cigar to glow a deep red. How easy it would be to end him here and now. "Now then, you useless scientist, I want results in a month, or I'll ensure something... unseemly, happens to your little green friend here."

Draken's attitude flipped in a moment. Suddenly he was smiling in a way that made Shego shiver. It was time. "I'm sorry, Mr. Waters, but 3 months is a good as I can do. But sadly, you won't live to see that day."

With a snap of his fingers, Shego attacked. Waters hadn't even had time to process before he suddenly found his head on backwards. The man dropped to the floor like a lead weight and Shego fell to her knees, quaking in pleasure. Draken snuffed out the cigar with his boot and watched as his pokegirl came down from her euphoric high. Draken was willing to go to any lengths for his Neo, and she was even more willing to do his bidding. Especially when that meant she got to spill the blood of another for her master and lover.

Draken smiled as he helped his 'girl to her feet and turned to the charred intern. "Hawkins! Remove this trash at once and inform the complex that I am no longer second in command." Draken's smile twisted in a way that made the young man thankful he was not on the receiving end of the mad scientist's wrath.

"You did try to tell his that smoking in here could be hazardous to his health," Shego said with a dreamy look in her eyes.

All Draken could do was laugh.

15:14, September 3nd 312 AS, Azalea Town Pokecenter

Trance sat up in his bed when he heard the knock on his door. However Dina was already opening it to see who the intruder was.

"Is Mr. Havok here? I received a message from the Azalea PD that a psych evaluation was needed."

Trance crossed the room and gently pushed Dina to the side before the woman had even finished talking. "I thought I recognized your voice! Please officer, come in."

The Alakawham smiled as the tamer granted her access. "Thank you Mr. Havok. I must say that I'm surprised to be seeing you again. After that incident at the station, I figured you would have left by now."

Trance shook his head and gestured toward a seat. "A little fight can't chase me away. Especially not a fight I won so easily." Trance frowned slightly as he sat down and Seria took up her spot on his lap. "Thought I must say, you do have me at a disadvantage. You know my name, my arrest record, and probably every perverted thought I've ever had since I was twelve, but I still have no idea what your name is. I never did catch it that day."

The Alakawham's yellow skin turned a light golden color near her cheeks making Trance grin. "For the record, I try not to probe people's minds without their permission, but some personalities, your's especially, are like catnip to me. Sometimes I don't even realize I'm scanning them before I've found their darkest desires."

The woman took a breath and regained her composure before smiling again. "My name is Detective June. I take it this dark furred beauty before me is the girl I am here to see?"

Trance chuckled as Seria purred quietly at the comment. "She is. She might be your kind of person, because since she can't talk, Mime and telepathy are the only ways you'll get anything out of her."

June looked at Trance for a moment before grinning. "You seem to be forgetting one thing cutie."

Trance's brow furrowed and he cocked his head slightly. "And what is that?"

"Her elemental type, Genius!" piped up a groggy Larix from the bed.

Trance thought for a moment before closing his eyes and shaking his head slowly. "Well... This is embarrassing. This is actually worse than the time Kara made my pants disappear in High School."

Aurora giggled. "That's because that time every girl was in awe of your size, while this time we're all trying not to laugh at your shining moment of stupidity."

Trance's face turned a light shade of red while the Alakawham just winked. "We shouldn't be in too much trouble. You two are Delta-bonded after all. That gives me a back door into the mind of a dark type."

Trance opened his mouth to ask her how she knew they were Delta-bonded, but the answer was in her earlier statement of his mind being like catnip. "Alright, then how shall we begin?"

"Simple, you two just get comfortable and I'll scan her mind through your bond. The process will leave all three of us in what will seem like a deep meditative trance, but if you are the nervous type then I can't imaging any better security than this army you have amassed behind us."

Larix and Kara grinned while Solara continued her nap in Aurora's lap. Trance nodded. "Sounds good to me. Let's spread out the spare sleeping mats and we can begin."

----------------------------------

Trance sat cross legged on the floor with June sitting across from him and Seria laying on his shoulder, snoring softly. "Well, she's definitely comfy," Trance said with a soft chuckle as he looked back at the Pokewoman across from him.

June smiled as she watched the sleeping girl. "All the better. The more relaxed she is the easier it will be to enter her mind. Are you ready?"

Trance nodded and closed his eyes, beginning a short countdown and rocking his head side to side.

When Trance opened his eyes, he was looking at a beach. It appeared to be sunset, but it looked like a storm was raging off in the distance.

"Your mindscape is gorgeous," June said as she appeared beside him. She looked around and sighed before walking towards the water. "This place is so peaceful and calm." She continued walking toward the water and slowly waded in up to her waist. It was at this moment that Trance noticed she was naked.

It seemed that his realization affected June because she released a moan. She quickly regained control of herself and hurried out of the water. "Sorry," she said rather flatly.

"For what?" Trance asked as he tried to look her in the eyes. He really was trying.

His looks seemed to do nothing more than turn the psychic type on more. "Those waters are your thoughts and memories. I couldn't help but to touch them as soon as I saw them. Then when I got farther out I discovered your... desires." The female's tongue gently wet her lips in a way almost imperceptible unless you were staring right at them. Trance grinned when he caught it.

"Well then, perhaps we can take care of that later as payment for your time."

The Alakawham smiled and nodded as a flowing white cloak formed around her form. "Sounds wonderful to me. Now, shall we get down to business?"

Trance nodded and an ornate black and silver door appeared before them. June looked at the Tamer with confusion. "Have you ever had psychic training?"

Trance shrugged slightly. "None that I'm aware of. I just thought of Seria and this thing showed up."

June shook her head and sighed with a small laugh. "Then it appears you're a natural. What I wouldn't have given when I was younger to find a tamer like you. Anyway, you should lead the way since it's your bond. I'm likely to get kicked if I don't hold on to you, so I'll need you to take my hand."

Trance nodded and took her hand before reaching for the door. As his hand came into contact with it, the scene changed and they suddenly found themselves inside of a strange looking forest. The bark on the trees was all silver, and the leaves were black as night with gold veins running their surface. Other than those features however, everything seemed normal.

That is until they spotted the giant fissure in the ground. They neared it, but June pulled back, silently urging Trance to move slower. Her instincts were right on the money, because when Trance's foot fell only a few feet from the edge, a large chunk of land broke apart and fell into the pit.

"What is it?" Trance asked as they looked at the pit.

June shook her head slowly. "This is what you were worried about. This is mental scarring from the incident you neglected to tell me about. This one shouldn't be too bad on it's own, but we need to look for others like it before I can give you a full idea of the severity."

After a short period of time, they had found several more fissures just like the first, followed by one that was three times the size of the others. June's frown only deepened. "This isn't good, Trance. With all the damage that has been done, along with the sheer size of this wound, I'd say that too much stress too soon could cause her to snap completely. If you aren't careful, the stress could turn her into nothing more than a whimpering shell of the girl she used to be."

"So what do I do?" Trance asked plainly as he continued examining the hole.

June shook her head and shrugged. "With this kind of damage, I'd say the best way to heal it is to love her as she does you, and find a new Alpha. That stress alone might otherwise cause permanent damage. However, with time, she might heal completely."

Trance frowned slightly and nodded slowly as they headed for the door. "That's about what I expected. Now let's head back so I can pay you and we can be on our way."

They reached the door and were back in Trance's mindscape, only the scene had shifted. They were now standing on the edge of a small pool near the top of a mountain. The water shimmered in a way similar to that of his mind's ocean only in a much more pure way.

June looked at the water and her eyes widened. "This is a pool filled with pure emotion." She looked over at Trance who just smiled.

"I was shooting for hot springs, but I guess this'll work too," the young man stated as his clothes faded from existence.

June lightly bit her lower lip and her cloak faded as well, while her eyes roamed his mental form. "Is it alright if I touch it? The pool I mean."

Trance grinned and shook his head. "Oh, you'll be touching it alright. Ever tamed in pure emotion?"

June's answer was a very rough kiss on the mouth.

-----------------------------------------

The trio awoke to the entire room staring at them.

Trance was the first to notice. "Umm... what's going on?"

Kara blinked for a moment then tried explaining. "Well, uh, June was sort of moaning for the last half hour, and judging by her scent she was enjoying whatever it is you were doing... a lot."

"Wham Alakawham," Started the yellow skinned female. It took her only a few seconds to realize what she had just said. Trance tried to contain his laughter but when she covered her mouth and her eyes widened, he couldn't help himself.

{This is NOT funny!} she thought at him even as he continued to laugh.

"Actually, that's rather hilarious," snickered Aurora as she watched the Alakawham's skin change to that deep golden color again.

Trance calmed down just enough to try and speak. "Y-yes it is. I simply wanted to give you pleasure you n-never even dreamed of. Apparently though, I'm too much me for even you to handle."

"Welcome to the harem!" Kara giggled before popping a soda open.

{I can't be in a harem! I have a job and a life!} she protested telepathically.

Trance winked. "Tell ya what, you can be free, but I'll come visit you every now and then, alright?"

The Alakawham thought for a moment before smiling and giving them all a firm nod.

Aurora got her snickering under control quickly as Seria began nuzzling Trance's neck. "I do find it amazing. You've managed to make two Pokegirls who had never been feral, and a Pokewoman who was born domestic, all go into taming shock."

{It isn't too odd if you think about it from a psychic's perspective. Your tamer-'}June paused for a second and took a breath, {Make that our tamer, has a very high empathy rating. I should have noticed before, especially with how welcoming his mind was to me. With almost every person I've scanned in the past, there has been at least a small amount of resistance. With Trance, it was like a warm bath just calling to me, almost begging me to scan him. That openness affecting a girl who has never known anything that intense hit them will always cause taming shock.}

Aurora frowned for a moment and nodded. "I never thought of it like that."

Larix raised her hand with almost a bored expression on her face. "Am I the only one who doesn't know what's going on?"

Seria raised her hand and Trance chuckled. "Sorry girls. June said I have a high empathy rating. Luckily she'll be able to talk soon and we won't have this issue."

June nodded and looked at Trance. 'When do you wish to make the announcement?'

"Right now." Trance stood up and stretched a bit, causing several vertebra to pop in the process. "Alright ladies," he said as he sat in one of the chairs at the dining table. "It has come to my attention that I need to find a new alpha."

Seria was in his lap faster than he could blink, the force nearly knocking the chair backwards. Her hands were flying around and her bell was jingling spasticly as tears began to form in her eyes.

Trance's hand gently caressed the Umbria's cheek causing her to close her eyes and rub against his palm. "It's alright Seria. You haven't done anything wrong. However, the power of the group has changed, and I'm afraid that the mental stress of the job could hurt you now." He leaned in and whispered into her ear, his free hand slowly caressing her hip.

The group wasn't sure if it was his breath across her fur or his words that caused her to purr so loudly, but Seria was suddenly in full agreement and snuggling against him harder than before.

"Anyway," Trance continued as Seria continued to rub, "I have two choices for the job. First is Larix." This caught the fire-type's attention. "She is a decent tactician, and her new evolution has provided her with the power to do the job properly."

A few of the girls nodded and Trance continued. "The second, but in no way less capable option, is Aurora. She is just as good tactically as Larix, if not a little better thanks to her analytical way of thinking. Additionally, she is great at pointing out when I'm being an idiot, and is normally pretty good at talking me out of doing something stupid. And since she has good offensive and defensive power, she is also strong enough to handle the job."

Again, several girls nodded, but Trance caught Kara's frown. "Kara, you were also an option, however since your personality is almost a female version of mine, it probably wouldn't be very safe to have the two of us running the team... again. I personally think you're more suited for the job of beta than any of the others, so you will remain as such in order to keep team moral up. Do you agree?"

Kara thought carefully for a moment before nodding her agreement. Trance smiled and looked back at Aurora and Larix. "Now then. You two will dual for the title in an hour. After dinner tonight we will head out and try to catch up with Craven on the trail. He's got a decent head start on us, and I plan to catch him before he reaches Goldenrod. And Marci?"

The Pia-kit let out a small squeak of surprise that caused Solara to smirk. "Y-yes sir?"

Trance rolled his eyes. "I promise I'm not volunteering you to be Zombabe bait. I want you to be referee for the match."

Marci looked between the two girls and visibly shrank. "How is that NOT making me Zombabe fodder?"

The group laughed and Kara spoke up. "Simple: because these two smell a whole lot better. Now then, let's get this show rolling!"

17:05, September 3nd 312 AS, Azalea Town Pokecenter - Courtyard

Trance checked the time on his pokedex and looked at his girls who were all finishing their pre-training stretches. Even June was in on the action with Marci walking her through the motions. "Alright girls, that's enough of that. You'll all be getting plenty of practice as soon as we leave, so it's time to decide who will help me lead you all to certain doom."

An uneasy laugh came from most of the group at the half joke. If the next few months were anything like the previous ones, then it would be a miracle if they all survived.

Never the less, Aurora and Larix took their positions on either end of the field. Trance looked at Marci who blinked back at him for a moment before she remembered she had a job to do and scurried over to the ref-box.

June stood by Trance and Seria, leaning in slightly and speaking in a low voice. "Are you sure you want Larix competing for Alpha? A charred fire-type could get distracted by her own flames when in an emergency."

Trance watched the combatants psych themselves up as they waited for the signal to start. "I promised Larix when she was a Combusticunt that she could have her shot when she evolved. The way I see it, if she can beat my first choice for Alpha, then she deserves the title. Larix may have more experience fighting, but Aurora is good at visualizing her attacks and those of her opponent." He looked over at the psychic-type and smiled. "Have some faith. Either way, the harem will be in good hands."

Marci shot off a small electric attack and the pair launched themselves at each other. As Trance had expected, Aurora was fully armored, wings extended, and had several scalpels sticking out from either hand. Larix had her entire body covered in flames and on both arms the flames appeared to be in the shape of a sword from her elbow down.

"I've never seen her use Flame Sword before," commented Kara as the pair collided in mid air. It appeared that neither side did any damage as they hit the other, and even Trance couldn't tell exactly what had happened. Both girls slid to a stop after they landed and spun in place, Larix firing off a flamethrower, and Aurora lobbing a pair of Dark Bombs at the incoming blast. Both attacks were negated, though in the midst of her attack, Larix risked injury by running through her flames just after the bombs hit, giving her a smoke screen though which she closed the gap.

Aurora dove to the side as Larix's fire blade covered arms slashed at her, narrowly missing her thigh. Aurora used her momentum to flip in the air as she lobbed another Dark Bomb at Larix. The issue was Larix had already moved and took aim with another Flamethrower. Aurora swore and curled into a ball to prepare for the hit, but Larix took aim instead at the Night Nurse's shadow, hitting it square on and causing Aurora to scream in agony.

As the attack ended, Aurora landed and immediately used Caccoon of Darkness. Larix fired off another Flamethrower, this time at the ball, but the flames just washed over. Larix snarled and charged the ball, swinging her bladed arms just before the energy faded. Larix attempted to change her aim, but was too late as Aurora lunged at her, driving six scalpels to the hilt in Larix's rib cage. The fire-type's flames died out instantly at the same time both Marci and Trance called an end to the match.

As soon as the match was called the scalpels disappeared and Aurora quickly went about the task of stabilizing her friend. In short order all danger had been averted and both girls were placed in their pokeballs and run up to the front counter by Solara.

The three were back within minutes and Larix was looking good as new. "Glad to see you're still in one piece there," Trance said, getting a rueful smile from the black feathered girl. "Considering your loss, though Aurora did hit you with a potentially lethal blow, I have to say that she is the new Alpha. Do you agree with my decision?"

Larix turned and held out her hand for Aurora. "Congratulations."

Aurora took the hand and pulled the fire-type into a hug. Both girls pulled away with a smile and turned to Trance. "Alright, you two have the task of going over our supplies before we leave. Take Solara and Kara with you as well. The rest of us will go and grab takeout for dinner and we'll be back. If something is missing or we find we need something else then we will grab it before we leave."

The girls nodded and headed back towards the pokecenter.

"Trance? Do you mind if I bend your ear for a bit?" June asked as the rest of the girls, minus Seria as usual, headed off inside.

Trance grinned as he hugged both his Umbria and his Alakawham to his sides. "Sure thing, though I think it would be faster and more comfortable if we just talked." The Alakawham's attempt to hit him was thwarted handily by her arm being trapped between them. "What did you want to talk about?"

June's eyes glowed for a moment and a second later Trance stopped walking to shake the effects off, clearing his head and regaining his balance.

He thought for a moment before nodding slowly. "You know, that just might be the best idea I've heard in weeks."
