Trance groaned as he sat up. His head was throbbing, his back ached, and when he ran his fingers through his long hair, a nervous habit he had picked up from his father, he winced as he came into contact with a knot on the side of his head.

'Last thing I remember is telling Aurora not to worry...' he thought as he gently rubbed the bump on his noggin. "I'm obviously missing something here." he muttered to himself.

He listened as his voice echoed off the hard, gray walls, even with how quietly he was talking. He listened for a second and suddenly was hit with the most disturbing realization that he couldn't hear anything. It was as if he had been left in an abandoned building. No other inmates, no police, not even the ambient noise of the outside world that normally resonated through the walls of a building like this.

That quickly brought his mind around to the fact that his taming belt was not on his person or even in the vicinity, and that last he knew, all his girls were standing around him waiting for him to piss off the lady officer. Where were they now?

'That officer... There was something about her that seemed as fishy as this place,' he thought as he continued to listen to his surroundings for any sign of life. He couldn't even hear the scrabble of insects. That, combined with the lack of dust anywhere, meant this place wasn't abandoned. 'Her eyes... they were sort of... lifeless? No. Not lifeless, just sort of blank. Similar to a level 5 but different somehow.'

Trance was suddenly ripped from his thoughts by a gripping pain in his abdomen. He doubled over, clutching his bare stomach in agony for a few moments until his insides settled. "Great... I've been here so long my body thinks I'm starving. And where the hell are my clothes?!" He exclaimed as he looked down to see the only thing he was wearing was a pair of almost glowing white boxer shorts that most definitely didn't belong to him.

"That does explain why I'm so cold though."

Trance sighed and crossed his legs, trying to meditate to keep his mind occupied and away from his stomach when he felt his headache begin to intensify for a second then fade again. He tried to ignore it, but when his headache flared again he was awash with a sudden misery that he knew didn't belong to him.

"Seria!" Trance exclaimed, jumping to his feet and regretting it a little when his head throbbed more. But he shook that away in moments, knowing that his alpha was hurting, fairly closely to him judging by the pull on their Delta bond, and he needed to get to her. Maybe she'd know where the others were.

Trance walked over to the cell door and examined the hinges. They looked sturdy, as if they'd just been replaced. He gripped the bars and shook the door, but it didn't even make a rattle. It was almost as if he had been welded into the cell. Trance snarled and slashed at the cell door, his claws causing sparks as they bounced across the enchanted alloy.

Claws? Trance looked at his right hand and was amazed to find that his fingers, which until moments ago were adorned with very average looking nails, were now capped in metallic claws approximately 3 inches in length.

"Well, work with what you got I guess," the ebony haired youth said as he examined the identical claws on his left hand. He turned back to the door and slashed again, this time repeating with the left hand, and back again. He did this for several minutes before finally becoming so enraged that he began slamming his body into the door.

After slamming his body into the metal a few times, the pain slowly started to ebb away, Trance expecting the adrenaline was making him numb to the pain. Trance growled, not able to get through the door, so he stepped back against the far wall, tail sliding slowly across the floor as he sized up his opponent.

His clawed feet dug into the concrete floor to give him as much grip as he could manage. Finally, he began sprinting towards the door, his clawed toes giving him even more speed as he ran. He connected with the door, his immense weight combined with his speed finally destroying the obstacle before him, the door and the concrete it was anchored into slamming to the ground, the door itself no worse for wear, before Trance released a roar of victory that echoed through the barren halls.

Trance's mind was now one track. He needed to find his mates. He charged down the hall in the direction of another door. This one splintered as he hit, spraying the guard on the other side with debris before he was slammed into the wall by a large scaly black tail. Trance examined the tip of the tail, an arrow shaped barb sticking out of the end, before he continued on his way.

'Move now, think later.' The thought didn't sound as if it were in his voice, but he didn't care. He needed to hurry. The feeling of pain was starting to get weaker, and he wasn't about to let it fade without him knowing why it was there in the first place.

Two more guards ran around a corner at the end of the hall before he could get his feet in gear. They drew their firearms as soon as they saw the black behemoth waiting for them. Trance cocked his head to the side and waited. As soon as they opened fire, Trance ducked, grabbed the shirt of the unconscious guard beside him, flipped sideways in the air and, using his own momentum, launched the first man down the hall, slamming both of his coworkers into the wall beyond them with a sound crunch.

Trance didn't waste any more time here. He began running again, following the halls as fast as he could towards his alpha. She needed him.

The feeling was much stronger as a massive steel door came into sight and Trance increased his speed, claws digging into the floor as he tucked in to become more of a cannon ball than a living being.

Trance hit with all the force his body could muster, the shock of the hit reverberating through his body and into the tip of his tail as both door and man hit the ground. It had surely been a solid hit.

Trance used his remaining momentum to flip back to his feet, quickly surveying the room with his eyes and his nose tried to identify anything.

Trance found several interesting items. First, there was a clear bin that had all his belongings in it, all of his pokeballs sitting on the top of the stack. Second, Seria, Aurora, and Kara were all strapped down to separate exam tables, each one very naked with IVs running into their legs and arms, with Kara and Aurora being unconscious.

Third, there were other people in here. People Trance neither knew, nor cared for, but they were all standing around three of his family members with various items you would find in an Operating room, and one of these people had their hand in the vacant cavity of Seria's abdomen.

And Seria was still awake.

Trance's vision went red. The last thing he remembered was his own roar of unbridled rage, followed by a most satisfying feeling of something squishing in his clawed hands.

----------------------------------------

Trance finally came back to his senses when a loud ping of a Pokégirl Healing Unit hit his ears. Trance stumbled slightly and shook his head clear of it's fog. What a nightmare. It felt so real too. Trance ran his hands through his hair again and once again cringed when he slid over the lump on his skull.

Slowly, he turned to examine his surroundings and nearly threw up.

The scene was gruesome. There were body parts everywhere, walls were splattered with blood, and a couple people looked like their necks had been snapped. One corpse in particular no longer had anything that resembled a human head. Instead it looked like somebody had sewn an overlarge, crushed orange onto the neck of what could have been a person.

Trance was overcome with an odd sense of justice at seeing this last lump of ground meat laying there lifelessly and he instantly knew who it used to be.

What's more, he remembered how this had all happened.

Trance looked down at his hands and noticed they had returned to normal, no scales, no claws, no anything. He also noticed he was covered from chest to toe in blood. He suspected that there was a large amount in his hair, and... potentially elsewhere since he was no longer feeling the intense hunger pains that had been before.

He decided to move away form that train of thought and turned back to the machine that had signaled the end of it's cycle already. Trance picked up the balls and placed them on his belt before picking Larix and Dina's balls off it and releasing them.

Dina surveyed the room slowly, her face void of emotion. "Trance, what happened here? And why are you covered in blood and naked?"

Trance shook his head. "I'll tell you later after Aurora has rested and we can get her to examine me."

Trance turned to Larix who was looking as if she had watched this massacre herself, and had begun to hyperventilate. Trance couldn't have one of his best fighters passing out so he quickly moved close to her, staring directly into her eyes. "Larix, look at me. LOOK AT ME!"

The raised voice of her tamer snapped Larix to the present and away from the gore. "Y-yes sir?"

Trance continued staring into her eyes. "I know you still remember your last battle, but that happened once. You felt bad, and it's done now. This is different. These people deserved what happened to them. I'm not sure where or why we are, but I do know that when I found them, along with you all, they had Kara, Aurora, and Seria out on exam tables, and they were doing things to them."

Larix' eyes had hardened more and more with each word Trance spoke. "Things, sir?"

Trance nodded. "They had Seria cut open and conscious. I killed them myself."

The flames inside the fire type's red eyes re-ignited with such ferocity that she almost combusted that very instant. "When do we eliminate the rest, my love?"

That was the first time he had heard Larix so much as utter the L-word, and it placed the trademark grin back on his blood-soaked face. "As soon as we get me showered. I think there is an emergency shower in that room over there. Watch this room and make sure nobody gets through. Full permission to shoot to kill at your discretion. Got it?"

"Yes sir," both girls growled as he turned to the designated room. As he suspected, there was indeed a chemical burn shower, and as he had also assumed, it was colder than an Ice Empress's backside. However, the blood had to come off before his clothes could go on, so he quickly rinsed as best he could, and got out. Since there were no towels, Trance had to air-dry, which gave him time to think.

Which is exactly what he didn't want to happen since as soon as his mind began to drift, he immediately began to remember his horrific actions from only minutes before. He wretched and he definitely felt full. Trance knew full well the only thing that could have been in there, and the memory made him wretch again, this time his body succeeding in expelling the remains of what his new animal side had decided would be lunch.

Trance exited the room a few minutes later looking slightly worse for wear, but cheerily accepted his clothes when offered them by Dina. As he finished pulling on his shoes and cinching his belt around his waist, Trance looked at the wall where he noticed a clock.

"Alright, looks like it's either the middle of the night, or 3 in the afternoon. Do we smash our way out of here, of go the smart route and try to sneak out?"

Dina turned towards the door. "I'm going to guess your earlier activities, whatever they were, already woke up the entire complex, so I vote silently with guns blazing."

"Seconded," Larix said as she did her best to not look at the piles of innards.

"It's settled then. Lets head that way and get out of here."

As soon as they left the room, Trance released Saravi and Solara and filled them in with what he deemed to be the most relevant information for the moment. Both girls quickly fell into ninja mode with Solara at the head of the group, checking around corners to watch for an ambush.

Oddly enough, the building was deserted.

"I'll bet you anything that there's a small mob of them in front of the building," Trance sighed as he and his girls reached the front doors.

Sure enough, as soon as they doors were opened, they were faced with what appeared to be a small security force of 4 tamers, accompanied by 6 fire-type girls. The leader also had an Elf type who had a mean looking arrow already aimed at Trance's head.

"I'm really sick of being right," Trance sighed as he slowly raised his hands above his head.

"Contain the subjects," the camouflage clad leader said to his subordinates. "None of them can be allowed to leave this lab. Start with the male."

Before Trance knew what was happening, he was suddenly shoved out of the way by Larix, the arrow that had been headed for him missing and bouncing off the armor of Dina, who had been standing directly behind him. Larix quickly got off a Flamethrower that hit the Elf girl in the shoulder only seconds before each of the 6 fire-types got off a Flamethrower of their own that engulfed Larix completely.

As soon as Larix' ear splitting scream cut through the air, Saravi hit one of the fire-types in the face with an Ice Beam that knocked the Whoreizard over on top of her tamer who let out a half scream and fell silent. Meanwhile Dina launched herself into the fray, delivering a body slam that sent two of the comparably smaller females flying, taking out their tamers as well.

The remaining three fire types didn't let up their attacks until, out of the middle of the blast, an over-charged Flamethrower shot back out, sending two of the girls flying backwards. This gave the third pause, the break in the flames revealing a pitch black Larix, kneeling on the ground breathing laboriously.

She fell to her side and was engulfed in white light signaling evolution. As soon as the light died down to show the Charred Blazicunt laying on the ground, Trance recalled her and dove at the nearest fire Pokégirl, a Cyndacunt.

The roar that issued from his mouth startled the girl into using ignite, however Trance's black scaled hand easily passed through the flames, delivering a rib-shattering punch that sent her flying into the recovering Elf girl, leaving a Cyndacunt shaped flame hanging in the air for a moment.

Trance fluidly slid off his belt and tossed it to Solara before he finished transforming, his shirt and shorts being torn to shreds as his body increased in size. Trance briefly thought that he was glad he had the foresight to kick off his shoes before diving at the small fire girl. As soon as the talons on his toes finished growing, he dug in and dove for the net nearest enemy, a Magmammary who was attempting to get a jump on Dina as she was finishing up with the two girls she had originally taken out.

To say the Lava girl was taken off guard when a large dragonic foot was slammed into the back of her head would be an understatement. The last thing she had been expecting was physical contact. However that thought lasted all of 4 seconds before her face was slammed with great force into the cement.

This left the gasping Cyndacunt, the Elf girl, a Whoreizard, and the fleeing leader of this troop.

Trance turned to watch as the Whoreizard was broadsided by an Ice Beam followed by a high speed kick courtesy of Solara, and decided to leave the other two to Dina.

Trance was quickly getting used to his new speed, and he quickly caught up to the leader of the group, right before he reached the woods and hit him hard in the shoulder blades with what equated to a backhand from his tail, however his own momentum greatly increased the force of the hit and sent the human flying into a tree. Trance rushed over and crouched over the groaning man, rolling him onto his back.

"Who do you work for?" Trance growled at the dying man as blood began to flow from the corner of his mouth.

"Wh-why sh-sh-should I te-ell you?" he asked with a laugh before coughing up a good amount of blood.

"Because I have a Night nurse who may be able to save your wretched life," Trance growled as he watched the light fading from the man's eyes.

He laughed weakly. "When y-you've seen wh- hat I've seen, and d-done what I-I've done, y-you'd welcome death too..."

Trance snarled and walked away from the corpse.

16:17, September 2nd 312 AS, Location Unknown

Trance growled quietly at the Magmammary who was kneeling before him. All the enemy Pokégirls had been returned to their pokéballs, and the still living enemy guards had been taken to one of the prison cells where Aurora had healed and left them.

Trance was sitting on a couch in an employee break room with Aurora on one arm and Kara on the other, both apparently trying to fuse and become one with him, while the rest of his harem, minus Seria, was eating quietly off in a corner, Larix occasionally igniting her hand to stare at the flames for a few minutes at a time.

"You will tell me what I want to know, or our deal is off Shannon," Trance said to the molten female now cowering at the sound of his voice.

"Y-yes sir." She took a deep breath and looked up into the face of the man who had beaten her unconscious with a single blow before killing her tamer. "They call themselves The Organization. They are like those other teams in that they're a bunch of thieves and murderers. They didn't tell us much since we are Pokégirls, but those of us that were at the front were supposed to be the decontamination unit. Any escaped prisoners were to be... disposed of."

Trance sighed and sat back, his voice softening as she spoke. He didn't like having to be the bad guy, and this girl had just been following orders. "Anything else?"

Shannon relaxed visibly and nodded. "Every three days the main headquarters sends a representative to inspect the complex. If you leave your prisoners here, they should be found in a day or two."

"Alright, I guess that will have to do." He sighed again and cracked his neck. "Do you happen to know where we are?"

Shannon nodded again. "This facility is three days North of Azalea Town by foot."

Aurora cocked her head and looked at the girl. "Only three days? That seems like a pretty short distance for a secret base to be located from a major population."

The girl shook her head. "You'd think, however very few people have come out this way. They normally try to stay on the main road for safety. And any that did end up out here either had their memory erased, or they became a test subject."

Trance smiled at the flaming girl. "I very much appreciate your cooperation. As promised, as soon as we get back to Azalea, I will try and find you and your harem sister a good home together."

"You could always take us sir," Shannon said, a hopeful look in her eyes.

Trance shook his head. "I have to pass. I have no need for a High Elf, and I wouldn't be able to give you the 'attention' that you'd need since my only source of fire proofing is a big scaly rage monster."

The Magmammary giggled and looked away coyly. "I don't know sir, that sounds like it could be kinda kinky."

Kara giggled into her tamers chest and Trance just rolled his eyes. "I think that concludes that." He stood up and stretched, both of the girls on his arms whining a bit at the loss of heat and security. "Aurora, I'm going to need your help. I'm glad you and Kara don't seem too much worse for wear, but I'm certain that Seria is going to be a bit traumatized after all that. You and I are going to need to talk with her, though how I don't know."

"At least enough to get her in the mood for a taming anyway. She needs the most attention out of all of us, and if it's really been almost two weeks than I suspect she'll be nearly feral by now, if not completely gone. We were all lucky that we were in some kind of suspended animation chamber before they took us out to cut us up."

Trance nodded. "I'm worried about that too. She was trouble when she first got caught, but now she has power."

Kara giggled. "I did beat her the first time, so why don't I help too? Who knows, maybe I can earn my alpha slot back."

Trance chuckled and nodded. "As you wish. I think she's always had a preference for you anyway." Trance thought for a moment. "I wish my pokédex could connect to anything here. I want to call that Officer that helped us the other day. As much as police irk me, I'd really like to get this place checked out.

"Would Zetta be able to help?" Shannon asked as she stood up, revealing a slight charring on the carpet where she had been.

"Who's Zetta?" Trance asked quickly.

"She's this branch's video girl. I don't think she likes being here, so I'm sure she'd help you."

Trance laughed. "If she can make calls, then I don't see any harm in asking for her help."

--------------------------------------

"Shannon, this is just a laptop," Trance said as he stared at the screen.

The Magmammary giggled and leaned in to the screen. "Oh Zetta Byte," she said in a somewhat motherly tone. "Come out here and talk with this nice tamer. He needs your help if he's going to free us from this place."

After a few seconds, the image of a purple skinned girl wearing skin-tight black leather pants, and a matching leather vest, both with what appeared to be some form of scrolling code printed across the outfit in long thin strings of white and blue letters, appeared on the screen. She brushed a piece of white hair out of her face and looked from Shannon to Trance and back again.

"I was beginning to wonder why nobody had made their report yet. I take it this is the human that was causing so much trouble earlier?" Shannon nodded and the Video Girl smiled. "Wonderful! What does our savior ask of his humble servant?"

Trance rolled his eyes as Shannon giggled. "Well we seem to be in a dead zone for my pokédex and I haven't found a phone anywhere in this building. I need to make a couple calls and was hoping you could assist."

"Nothing is easier. Please plug your pokédex in and tell me the names." Trance did as asked, plugging the USB cord from the side of his pokédex into a port on the laptop. "Mmm... You've done this before haven't you?" Zetta asked as soon as the cord was plugged in.

Shannon giggled as Trance blushed. "Yeah, once or twice. The person I need to contact is Officer Celest of the Azalea Town Police. She'll be able to contact the next person."

Zetta nodded. "Your wish is my command, sir." She did a back flip in the screen and her image became a video display as she hit the halfway mark.

A few seconds later the Tigress known as Celest appeared on the screen, uniform straight and pressed and an all business look on her face. "Azalea City PD, this is Celest speaking."

"Hello again Celest, this is Trance Havok. I was there a few weeks ago-"

"Yes, Mr. Havok. I remember you well," Celest said as she cut him off. "Were you aware we had a missing persons report filed on you last month? Apparently your disappearance caused the Nurse Joy at the center you were staying in to panic."

Trance chuckled. "Yeah well that's actually why I'm calling you. The 20th of last month I was abducted by an Officer Jenny who I suspect was under psychic influence, and brought to some laboratory three days North of Azalea. I managed to incapacitate most of the people who were holding me hostage, but there will be a check up from one of the higher ups for these people in the next couple days." Trance took a breath and tried to read Celest's expression before he continued. "I can get back there on my own, though I currently have no supplies, but there are 3 men here that I have locked up so they can be used as witnesses or whatever."

Celest stared back at him for a few moments before shaking her head. "You're telling me the truth... How do you manage to get into this kind of situation?"

Trance shrugged. "I'd chalk it up to luck, but I don't think that's the term we'd want to use."

Celest nodded. "I'll contact the JLSF immediately. You just sent me your location so they will hopefully have a team out there within 2 hours. Stick around and they will give you a lift back, alright?"

Trance nodded, a wide grin on his face. "It's much appreciated Celest. You're as much a breath of fresh air as ever."

Celest smiled and reached towards the screen. "I'll take that as a compliment. Stay safe, Mr. Havok."

The screen went black and Zetta Byte closed out the window, her avatar returning to hovering in the middle of the screen. "Well, that went well. Who's next?"

Trance thought for a moment. "I should probably contact the main Azalea Pokécenter to figure out where my stuff is."

Zetta nodded and again the window came up. A tired looking, graying Nurse Joy appeared on the screen. "Azalea Pokécenter, is this an emergency?"

Trance shook his head. "Not exactly. My name is Trance Havok, and it would seem that I forgot to check out a few weeks ago before I was abducted. Could you kindly tell me where my belongings have been shuffled off to?"

The Nurse Joy stared at the screen for a moment. "I can't tell if you're jerking me right now."

Trance laughed. "Serious as a heart attack Ma'am."

The Pokéwoman shook her head and typed something into a computer. "Your stuff is in storage. I take it you will be returning for it?"

Trance nodded. "I'll be there in the next couple days. Could you also tell me if a Tamer named Craven is still there? He's the one with the Venom Mistress."

This time the woman shook her head. "The young man with a Venom Mistress left two days ago actually. He was headed to Goldenrod and I believe he said he would be sticking to the trails. You might be able to catch up with him around the point that Route 32 hits Route 33 if you were to leave tonight at a good trot."

Trance smiled at the woman. "Thank you very much for your help. I'll try to be in there tonight."

"You're welcome sir. Have a nice day."

The screen went black and Zetta appeared again. "Is there anyone else you need to call?"

Trance shook his head and sat back. "No, I think that's everyone."

"Will you take me with you?"

Trance's brow furrowed. "What?"

Zetta disappeared from the screen and moments later a life sized version of her avatar stood before Trance, a holographic visor over her eyes. "I said, will you take me with you when you leave?"

Trance cocked his head to the side. "I'll gladly get you out of here, though the military may want to take you for themselves."

Zetta nodded and sat down on Trance's lap facing him. "I know they will. That's why I wanna go with you. I'm sick of being stuck in a massive company like this with nobody but the other Video Girls to talk to. Do you have any idea what it's like? Somebody always rooting around in your head, trying to change your personality or get you to blindly obey their orders?"

Trance shook his head and set his hands on her waist. "Can't say I do. I do know that I've never liked being cooped up, or being forced around people, but that may just have something to do with my blood curse."

Trance opened his mouth to say something but closed it for a second before opening it again. "Zetta, I'll make you a deal. If you can help me figure out what they did to me, and why they were cutting open my harem, then I'll gladly bring you with me to become part of my harem. I won't let the League get a hold of you, and I'll make sure that The Organization never finds you."

Zetta smiled and set her hand on her Life disk Laptop. "It would be my pleasure, Master."

Zetta faded back into the screen and in only 16 seconds, (a timer popped up as soon as she had gotten to work) she had a folder open and had opened a file labeled 'Havok'. "Here you go! There's only the one file, but it has all of the information you were looking for."

Trance scrolled through the page quickly and could only come to one conclusion by the time he was finished.

"AURORA!" Trance bellowed, causing the Night Nurse to sprint into the room as fast as her toned legs could carry her.

"What is it???" She asked, fully armored and two scalpels out on each hand.

Trance glanced over at her. "Read this and I'll meet you in the lab down the hall. Bring Zetta with you as well. We have a lot of work to do before the Army gets here."

Trance stood up and left the room, leaving Aurora to read the file in the company of Shannon and the Zetta-top.
