Chapter 18

The Calm Before the Storm

         “What were you hoping to find here?”

         Nicholas shrugged to himself. “I’m not sure. Direction, maybe. Advice.”

         Eusine nodded. The two men were alone, standing in the middle of the Burned Tower. Today, however, there was no movement below. “I heard you faced Morty.”

         “How else would you know I was here?” Nicholas turned to him. “Who deserves power more, Eusine? Someone who is born with it, or someone who works for it?”

         “Both are equally worthy,” Eusine replied. “What they choose to do with that power decides whether or not they deserve it.”

         “Is that what the legends say?”

         “It’s what I say,” Eusine replied quietly. “Morty has lived his life seeking Ho-oh. In defiance of any legend. He sees you as a threat, and that is why he will fail.” Eusine shook his head sadly. “The rainbow one can not be tricked by deceit, intentional or otherwise. Morty lies to himself when he says he is worthy. He may never be.”

         “And what about me?” Nicholas snorted. “I’m a selfish son of a bitch who wants nothing to do with anyone but myself.”

         “But you do not lie to yourself about it,” Eusine replied. “And that may make all the difference.”

         “I don’t want to be the tamer of legend.”

         “Sometimes what we want does not matter,” Eusine said. “You may be. You may not be. But if you are, what will you choose to do?”

         Nicholas stared down into the basement. “I won’t know until I have to make that choice.”

         Eusine patted him on the back. “I’ve known you for only a few weeks, but I know you’ll make the right one.”

         Nicholas remained where he was while Eusine walked out. Eventually he turned to the door himself.

         Nessa materialized and groaned. It took her a few seconds to realize they were outside and when she did she straightened up. Seeing nothing around them she relaxed and turned to Nicholas. “Hey.”

         Nicholas nodded back. “Hey, Nessa.” The two stared at each other for a few seconds before Nicholas sighed. “I’m sorry.”

         Nessa blinked. “For what?”

         “I’ve been distracted lately. The trip back to Ecruteak was supposed to be for training and I barely participated. It got you hurt. It got you all hurt.”

         Nessa walked over to him. “It was just a bad battle. We’re allowed to have those, right?” Her eyes softened when she saw his frown. “Nicholas, we’re not going to be perfect. We haven’t been and we won’t be. All I ask, all we’ve ever asked, is that you do your best.”

         “I barely gave commands today.”

         “Well, I didn’t really have much of a chance,” Nessa snorted. “That Gengar was strong. Really strong. It just means that I have to be better.” She grinned and nuzzled his cheek. “That’s why I have a Master. To make me stronger.”

         Nicholas kissed her nose and reached up to ruffle her hair. “Thanks. I guess I’ve just been thinking too much about Team Rocket.” He sighed again. “You and Sera couldn’t stand up to them before. Neither could Ryuko. What will happen the next time? Will someone finally die?”

         “We couldn’t before.” Nessa took his hand and placed it flat against her abs. “But we have changed since then. All of us. Miyuki, Ryuko, Sera. Me. Not every opponent will be like Morty. Most will be like the tamers we run into on the road. Competent, but still easy prey for the Champion’s harem.” She pulled her lips back to display as many teeth as possible. “Every day we come one step closer to achieving our goals.”

         Nicholas nodded. “You really have grown since we started this journey.” He reached up, waiting for Nessa to relax before kissing her lips. “It’s time to focus. We’ve got another few days of travel ahead of us; I intend to use it correctly this time.”

         Nessa nodded as the rest of the harem materialized.

         “Kali!” Dahlia moved through the house, checking each room as she passed. “KALI! Where are you?”

         “Alpha?” Victoria poked her head out of her room. “What’s wrong?”

         “Have you seen Kali?” Dahlia rested her hands on her hips. “We were supposed to have our weekly meeting today.”

         Victoria leered at her. “Your ‘meeting’.”

         “Oh, go fuck yourself.”

         Victoria snickered and another head poked out beneath hers. “Can’t. She took after Kary.”

         Dahlia rolled her eyes and waved at the Dratini. “Good morning Vika. How are you doing?”

         “Desperate to meet my Master,” Vika replied. “When will he return?”

         “I don’t know. I can call and find out.” Dahlia shook her head. “Might as well ask him if he knows where Kali is while I’m at it.”

         “Good luck.” Victoria pulled back, snagging Vika’s hand and pulling her daughter back into the room. “You shouldn’t be asking about Master Nicholas,” she chided, taking a seat next to the struggling form on the bed. “You may have already matured but you still have much to learn.”

         Vika rolled her eyes, pushing her tail up to coil around Kary’s leg. “Yes, mother.”

         “Now practice what I’ve taught you.” Victoria traced her finger down Kary’s face. “Your mother can’t escape this time.”

         Kary’s screams were muffled by her gag when Vika’s tail violated her, all three pokegirls devolving into wild sex after a few minutes.

         All across the house similar scenes were playing out. Dahlia herself could feel her need growing as she pulled out a pokedex and dialed Nicholas’ number. She was making sure everyone got a taming cycle once a week; but while those kept them from going feral it didn’t remove the longing. She agreed with Vika - the harem was desperate to see him return.

         Halfway across the continent a winged figure slammed into a wall. With a pained roar flames erupted from the ground, filling the entire cave with fire.

         Kali kept her barrier up to protect her from the blazing inferno. “Stop your resistance. Tell me what I need, and I will leave.”

         The figure pushed her head through the wall of fire to fix Kali with a hateful glare. “Do not make false promises to me, human slave,” Moltres spat. “I know who controls you. I would rather die.”

         “If you refer to the ones who controlled the warehouse you burnt, I am hunting them, not being controlled by them,” Kali replied calmly. “Their ashes have interrupted my hunt. Tell me how to continue.”

         “Kill me.” Moltres screeched, sending a wave of flames washing over Kali’s barrier before squawking when Kali pinned her more completely to the wall. “DIE!”

         “I will neither kill you nor will I die for your pleasure, sister of flame,” Kali replied. “You have a place in this world just as I do. I seek only information.”

         “West. Go west,” Moltres croaked. “You will find what you seek there.”

         Kali watched her for a moment before letting go of her psychic hold. Moltres collapsed, her flaming wings splaying over the stone floor. “Very well.”

         Moltres remained where she was after Kali teleported. She did not know if the human slave would find what she wanted to the west. But she knew who awaited her. Her Mistress would make short work of this upstart.

         Kali appeared over the volcano and oriented herself before beginning to move to the west. As she flew she felt the air soothing the burned tip of her tail.

         She had left her Master’s house almost a week ago now. Left it and her physical ties to him - she was as naked as the day he first met her.

         She had done so in order to embrace her primal instincts once again, with no distractions. To fight with no hesitation.

         And still Moltres had managed to wound her. Not by much; the burn would heal soon. But to be harmed at all gave her pause.

         She had not had to combat any pokegirl like her before. A legendary, as humans called them. Kali felt her heart swell, adrenaline coursing through her after the battle. If she had not joined with Master Nicholas then this opportunity may never have come. She might have been content to hide away forever, to decay as Moltres had.

         With a savage grin Kali accelerated towards the distant landmass. Joining him had been an excellent choice.

         “Kali? No, she hasn’t shown up. Kind of surprised she hasn’t, actually.” Nicholas gazed out over the river they were camping by. “She sounded like she was going to chase after me immediately.”

         “Well, she tried,” Dahlia replied. “I managed to convince her to stay.”

         Nicholas chuckled. “Congratulations, Alpha. You controlled Mewtwo.”

         Dahlia felt her cheeks burn. Thankfully the camera wasn’t on. “Not really, Master. I just gave her a reason and she decided it was good enough.”

         “Yes. That’s one way of making people do what you want them to,” Nicholas teased. “I’ll let you know if she finds me. How about you? Is everything going well? How are the others?” Nicholas snickered as Nessa erupted from the water to screeches from the other resting pokegirls. “We haven’t spoken in a while.”

         Dahlia’s fingers dug into her skin. “We’re… good. Training a lot. Kali has been a good goal.”

         “Hey, don’t hurt yourself,” Nicholas cautioned. “It may be years before anyone can even get close to her level.”

         Dahlia nodded slightly even though he couldn’t see her. She couldn’t tell him the truth. How every word he spoke sent shivers through her body. She wanted him so badly. But he was far away; and she needed to be strong for the others. “Um. The egg hatched.”

         “Oh?” Nicholas sat up straighter. “How’d that go? When I left it was as big as the bed it was sitting on. Did the pokegirl come out small, or…?”

         “She hatched fully grown, as all pokegirls do,” Dahlia replied. “She asks almost daily when her Master will come home.”

         “Heh.” Nicholas settled back again. “I’m not sure when that’ll be. But I’ll be home as soon as I can.”

         “Everyone will be glad to hear that, Master,” Dahlia whispered.

         “I know they will.” Nicholas felt his smile fade. “Dahlia… has anyone come by the house lately?”

         Dahlia shook her head. “No, Master. Not since Mistress Sabrina visited a few weeks ago.” She frowned. “Why?”

         “Just wondering.” Nicholas toyed with his pokedex. So nobody was trying to check up on him. He didn’t really care one way or the other; but knowing that he had been forgotten again was good information to have. “I miss you.”

         Dahlia screwed her eyes shut but still managed to choke out a response. “I miss you too.”

         The road from Ecruteak to Mahogany was beautiful. Lush forest to either side, the river they had been following peeking through every once in a while. A mountain rose on the other side with various footpaths leading towards it.

         He’d considered taking a detour to explore but something kept him moving forwards. Every day they had gotten up, eaten breakfast, broken camp, and immediately begun to train. Nessa was no longer simply confident with her new strength; now she was unafraid to use it. Ryuko had been primarily practicing with her armor. She had been going nude more and more as she got better forming the metal, though she was trying to figure out how she could still wear her favorite outfit without it interfering.

         Sera and Miyuki, on the other hand, had been pushing to grow their existing skills. Miyuki especially. The dark bite she had displayed in Morty’s gym was now accompanied by a driving kick she’d picked up watching Ryuko fight. Nicholas had also tried to find some TMs from his collection that she could use but so far, no luck.

         Sera had returned to focusing on her wings in combat. She’d admitted to him that ever since the visit to Ryuko’s school she had been drifting more and more towards using them only as a method of transportation. And while he understood, since she had always talked about wanting real arms, he was glad that recent events had helped her understand how useful they still were. Manipulating the air, sending gusts and cutting winds to attack, she was a very versatile pokegirl. One that he’d slowly begun to truly appreciate.

         He was interrupted from his musings by a sudden silence. The sound of training pokegirls was gone and Nicholas looked around to see all four staring into the trees. “Girls?” He glanced in the same direction. “What’s…”

         The figure watching them locked eyes with him. Suicune stood on the river, foam and the rushing water swirling around her feet. After a few seconds she turned to look downstream. Towards their destination.

         We await your deeds, human.

         Nicholas shivered as Suicune’s words echoed to him. The legendary wasn’t making any move to interact with them, but her meaning was clear. She was watching him and his path. Somewhere ahead Team Rocket lay in wait.

         “Master…” Ryuko trailed off. “Is that truly the north wind?”

         “It is.” Nicholas kept his eyes on the motionless legendary for a while more before clearing his throat. “We’re done training for today. We’re moving.”

         The others formed up without question and within minutes the group had vanished down the road.

         It was another few days before Nicholas got the first hint of Mahogany Town. A worn trail sign indicated that they were only a few hours’ hike away and a sign close after advertised a local bed and breakfast as being ‘The closest stop to the Lake of Rage’.

         “We’re close now.” Nicholas slowed his pace a bit and looked around at the harem. “I’ve been thinking. Mahogany is a smaller remote town… just like Cianwood. It’s a perfect place for a group of people to hide.”

         “You think Team Rocket is there,” Miyuki murmured.

         “Over the last few months I’ve traveled most of Johto. I haven’t seen whatever big operation they’re running. But it’s seemed wherever Team Rocket has been operating they make themselves known.” Nicholas shrugged. “I haven’t visited this part of the region yet. So if I haven’t found the main operation anywhere else… it’s probably here.”

         “Where else have you been, Master?” Ryuko asked curiously. “Before you found me.”

         “The south. And with you I visited the north and west. There are only two towns left here in eastern Johto, and I doubt the other would let Team Rocket anywhere near them.”

         “Why’s that?”

         “The other town is Blackthorn. The Dragon City.” Nicholas absentmindedly played with his shirt. “I’ve heard Lance is from there. If Team Rocket showed up they’d be obliterated.”

         “So Mahogany is all that’s left,” Miyuki whispered. She looked to Nicholas with a quiet determination. “What is the plan?”

         “I don’t have one yet,” Nicholas admitted. “Reconnaissance first. Figure out if there are any shady figures, and find suspicious activity. Then follow it to the source.”

         “Sounds good-“

         Miyuki was mid sentence when a bloodcurdling scream erupted from the undergrowth. The group whirled to see something rising from the bushes and a second, challenging scream followed.

         Ryuko moved first. Her armor formed all across her body as she dashed forwards and was preparing to strike when an enormous bolt of lightning speared into her chest and sent the Scizor spazzing across the ground.

         Another scream as the figure tensed. Nessa had been reacting but when Ryuko went down she tripped over her own feet, throwing herself sideways to avoid a follow-up attack.

         “Shit!” Nicholas dove to the ground as electricity crackled overhead. “Pokegirl, get her!”

         Ryuko groaned and struggled to her hands and knees. She could feel her body refusing to move properly. But she needed to.

         Sera started into the air before wheeling around, dodging through the trees to avoid the waves of thunderbolts that sought her. This was bad. The image of John’s Magnemite flashed past her eyes and for an instant she faltered. Fear of ending up like Nessa and Ryuko had slowed her, just for a moment.

         Miyuki whirled when she heard Sera scream in pain. The Golbat crashed through the trees, electricity playing across her wings before she came to a moaning halt against a trunk.

         Her harem was falling. In an instant Miyuki’s demeanor changed. Gone was her smile, the quiet peace she embodied; the pokegirl that sprinted towards the feral was her harem’s Alpha. With a roar she smashed into the threat.

         Nicholas pushed himself to his feet to see Miyuki grappling with the feral. Sparks flew when the feral tried to throw Miyuki off but the Eevee held on, wrapping her arms around the feral before driving her knee into the girl’s stomach.

         The feral gurgled, staggering back with Miyuki repeating her blows until the girl caught herself and pushed back with a concentrated blast that sent Miyuki back to the ground.

         “That’s a-“ Nicholas’ eyes widened. The yellow skin, tangled white hair, tail… “that’s an Ampharos.”

         Miyuki pushed herself back up and glared at the angry Ampharos. She couldn’t attack head on. The feral was too strong. But she wouldn’t be able to run around either…

         Nessa carefully peeked up. “Nicholas?” She noticed Miyuki and gasped. “Miyuki!”

         “Nessa, down!” Nicholas dove into her, lying prone as bolts of lightning flashed overhead. “You’re a Water-type. You’ll be destroyed!”

         “But Miyuki is out there,” Nessa grunted, pushing Nicholas away and getting to her knees. “I have to help-“

         She could see the Ampharos but Miyuki was gone.

         “Miyuki?” Nessa glanced around. The Ampharos was growling, also scanning the area. “Where’d she go?”

         With a roar the ground under the Ampharos erupted. Miyuki emerged, her fists glowing as she sent chunks of stone smashing into the Ampharos’ chest. With a keening cry the girl slumped, her counterattack harmlessly dissipating into the ground around Miyuki before the Eevee burst through the cloud of dirt with a snarl. “RAH!!!”

         One last glowing punch and the Ampharos was down. The feral crashed to the ground and went still, Miyuki posing to strike again. A few seconds passed until she turned to look at the others.

         Nicholas got up when Nessa stood. “What happened?”

         Miyuki’s chest heaved. On. Off. On. Off. Why was she like this? She stared at her hands, feeling the adrenaline dissipate. Like a switch. First she had noticed when Nicholas awakened her fighting instinct; now it was a protective instinct as the harem Alpha. Deep down, was any of it real?

         It was those doubts that bottled her back up and she looked up at Nicholas with a stunned expression. “I don’t know what happened.”

         “Is the feral down?” Nicholas inched over. “She is. Well done, Miyuki.”

         “I have no idea how I did that,” Miyuki whispered. “I saw Sera go down and I just… snapped.”

         “It’s okay.” Nicholas embraced her. “You’re still getting used to fighting. You did good.”

         His reassurance only served to further repress Miyuki’s feelings and she took a trembling breath. “Thank you.”

         Nicholas turned, finding Sera and recalling her before moving to Ryuko. “Ryuko?”

         The Scizor groaned. She was still on her hands and knees in full armor. “I beg your forgiveness, Master. I failed to join the fight.”

         “You did fine,” Nicholas chuckled. “I see you still trying to get up.”

         Ryuko sighed. “I did not do fine, Master. I failed you.”

         Nicholas recalled her and turned to the other two. Miyuki’s eyes were distant when he checked Nessa and turned to her. “Let’s get out of here. I don’t want another feral ambushing us.” He stepped towards the unconscious Ampharos and as he gazed at her he thought of Amy, back in the lighthouse, so with a slowly spreading smile he pulled out an empty pokeball. “Alpha?”

         Miyuki jumped. “Huh?”

         “What do you think? Would she be a good addition to the harem?”

         Miyuki blinked at him. “Would she-? She was strong.” She frowned slightly. “Having an Electric-type to fight other Electric-types would be good. Sera… Sera went down immediately.”

         “Then it’s decided.” Nicholas tossed the ball, waiting for it to chime before picking it back up. “Let’s get to Mahogany. We’ll heal up, I’ll tame her, and then we begin our hunt.”

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
         Nicholas rolled the Ampharos’ pokeball between his fingers.
         They’d arrived in Mahogany mid afternoon. And immediately he’d felt something off. If he had to describe it, the small town felt like Saffron had during the Rocket occupation. Nothing outwardly wrong, but there was a tension in the air that only grew when residents realized he was an outsider.
         The quick plan they’d made on the road had fallen apart almost immediately; as Nicholas was waiting for the harem to be healed at the pokecenter he’d overheard someone talking about a black market for pokegirl meat. The speaker had slipped away before Nicholas could investigate but that one comment had turned into a manhunt for the rest of the day. In the end, all they’d gotten to show for it was a single rumor about a man selling Slowpoke’s tails as a delicacy. But that had been enough to confirm Team Rocket was operating here.
         He’d been surprised to see Nessa take the rumor in stride. After her encounter in the well, and the way she had broken down when seeing the harvesting operation, he’d expected her to react in some way. But she’d simply stood there silently while the informant walked away. She was back in her pokeball now; the entire harem was, to reduce the chance that a Rocket they’d encountered before could identify him by his harem. He didn’t think he’d been seen at the new Safari Zone but here, likely in the middle of enemy territory, he wasn’t taking any chances.
         Which brought him back to now. The Ampharos. He absentmindedly rubbed her pokeball again. She was a brand new pokegirl. On one hand, a potential disguise. On the other, a potential liability. Ryuko in her armor would be a safer, if more likely to be recognized option. How worried was he that someone might be on the lookout for a Scyther or Scizor?
         Very, he realized. If it really was Archer leading the new Team Rocket then he was waiting for Nicholas. Just as he had been waiting for Sabrina with a Dark-type pokegirl. He needed to take every advantage he could get.
         Which meant this Ampharos needed to be battle ready.
         Nicholas released her onto the bed. The healing and taming cycles she’d been through had helped clean her up but he wanted to put her through a dedicated cleaning cycle in the morning. Their room didn’t have a shower.
         Just like Amy this Ampharos had brilliant yellow skin and a short tail, broken up by black rings, with her face and tail highlighted by red orbs. And just like Amy she had the long white hair.
         Unlike Amy, however, she wasn’t simply curvy. She was stacked. This Ampharos’ breasts didn’t sit on her chest - they spilled over the sides, pulling apart from each other and tempting him with the kind of cleavage he hadn’t seen since Cassidy’s.
         The Ampharos stirred, rolling onto her side with a low whimper. Nicholas snapped himself out of it when her eyes opened and she slowly looked around the room. “Hello.”
         The girl made a surprised noise and squirmed, twisting until she could see him. When she recognized him as a human he could see her expression change from confusion to curiosity and, after a moment, she pushed herself towards him.
         “Still a bit out of it, then.” Nicholas waited for her to get closer before climbing onto the bed himself and pushing her back, receiving a happy moan when one of his hands sunk into her breast. “How about it? Would you like a tamer?”
         The moment he said tamer the Ampharos’ eyes lit up and she squealed happily. Nicholas suddenly found himself on the bottom, the Ampharos roughly pulling at his pants until she got the button open and nearly ripped them down his legs. He was panicked for a moment until he felt lips pressing against his and he opened his mouth so the Ampharos’ tongue could worm inside.
         “Name?” He managed to get out when the Ampharos broke contact and began bouncing her hips. “Do you have…?” His eyes rolled back and he came but the Ampharos didn’t even slow down. “Yes? No?” He gritted his teeth when the girl didn’t vocalize. “Fine. That’s a no. Your name is now Hana.”
         Hana cried out in pleasure and Nicholas felt her come, the walls around his shaft tensing a few times. He expected her to kiss him again, or something, but Hana only started up again where she left off.
         There obviously was only one thing on the Ampharos’ mind at that point so Nicholas relaxed, allowing her to do whatever she wanted with him all through the night.
         “That’s the fourth person who’s warned us about the lake.” Nicholas scrolled through his notes. “If there’s something going on up there we need to see it for ourselves.”
         “Master is taking me to battle? Already?” Hana flounced past and whirled with a happy laugh. “I can’t wait!”
         Nicholas smiled at the enthusiastic Ampharos. Ever since he had tamed her the night before she hadn’t slowed down. He wondered if it was because she was an Electric-type; she was a crackling ball of energy, both in body and spirit. “You remember what I explained this morning, right Hana?”
         “Yes Master! I must wait for your command. But I would anyways!” She dashed back and planted a kiss on his cheek. “To have a name again, a Master, a harem - and something to fight.” Her carefree expression firmed for a moment. “Nothing makes me happier, Master. I will not disappoint you.”
         Nicholas nodded at her and watched as she ran ahead again. The cleaning cycle she had received had really done wonders for her hair. Gone were the tangles, replaced by long, luxurious fluffy white locks that flew behind her when she ran to reveal her glowing yellow skin. She still refused to wear anything, even a battle uniform, so he’d have to figure something out for her later. No matter how much he wanted to let her run around nude there would be places she’d need to at least cover her nipples and pussy.
         Dahlia used pasties. Maybe Hana would be fine with something similar?
         He was dragged out of his thoughts by a yelp next to him and let out his own surprised cry when a pokegirl burst from the undergrowth. The girl made it three steps away before a crackling bolt caught her between the shoulder blades and she collapsed.
         Hana skidded to a halt in front of him. “Master! Are you okay?”
         “Uh, yeah. She didn’t attack me.”
         Hana relaxed. “I’m glad.” And with another peck, on his lips this time, she had run off again.
         How on earth am I going to get her to sit still? Nicholas mused. “Hana!”
         Hana twisted back. “Yes Master?”
         “Can you walk with me for a while? I want to do some reading and don’t want wild pokegirls jumping me.”
         Hana nodded and jogged back to his side, giving him a happy smile when he looked at her. Nicholas returned it before pulling out his pokedex and continuing down the road.
         “We’re looking for a checkpoint on the road,” Nicholas explained about half an hour later. “It’s a rest stop before the Lake of Rage. Which is named because of the large amount of Magikarp and Gyarados that live there.” He continued reading the informational brochure. “Hm. It says here that the lake routinely floods, making waterfalls that locals believe are the catalyst for a Magikarp’s evolution. Interesting.”
         Hana tapped his shoulder. “Is that the checkpoint Master?”
         Nicholas looked up to see a handful of people waiting. Beyond them was a building, arching over the road with doors on either side. “Looks like it.”
         When they got close to the waiting group Nicholas cleared his throat. “Hey. Why’s everyone stopped?”
         One of the tamers turned to him with a shrug. “Some guys went in there a while ago. Said nobody should pass until they were done.” He gestured at a nearby pokegirl with wing membrane stretched from her arms to her body. “Marissa and I tried to get by anyways, but she got pushed back by their pokegirls. So… we’re waiting.”
         “They attacked you?”
         “Well it’s not like they didn’t warn me,” the tamer grumbled. “And they didn’t hurt Marissa. So they’re out of my league.” He chuckled. “I’m hoping that whatever they’re doing finishes soon. We were going up to the lake to swim.”
         Nicholas nodded and walked up to the building. He could see at least three humans through the windows, who he assumed were the people the tamer was referring to. Nothing too special, normal clothes…
         Nicholas sighed to himself. He didn’t have time to wait for whatever this was. If these people were watching the road, they’d just have to go around.
         Hana had drifted towards the other pokegirls when she heard Nicholas’ command and scampered over. “Master?”
         “We’re cutting through the woods.” Nicholas pointed at the trees lining the road. “So keep a close eye out.”
         “Shouldn’t we- Ah, yes Master.” Hana quickly amended. She was starting to move forwards when she noticed Nicholas staring at her. “…Master?”
         “What were you about to say?”
         Hana fidgeted. “Nothing, Master.”
         “No, please. Say it.” He smiled at the Ampharos. “When my pokegirls have something to say I want them to say it, not be afraid.”
         Hana looked stunned but rebounded quickly. “Ah- really, Master? I’m not trying to disobey you…”
         “I wish you would,” Nicholas replied casually. “I won’t be perfect. Sometimes you’ll know better than me, and that’s okay.”
         Now Hana was completely dumbstruck. It was almost a full minute before she swallowed and spoke. “You’re sure, Master?”
         “Yup.”
         “…I, I would feel better if I could meet my harem sisters,” Hana explained. “If you want to go into the forest, wouldn’t it be better if they’re here to protect you?”
         “An excellent point. Unfortunately, like I explained this morning, I’m trying to avoid having them out,” Nicholas replied. “But you are correct to be worried about the forest. How about we have Ryuko join us? She’s the least likely to be recognized, and I think the best option to help you feel at ease.”
         Hana nodded. “If you think so, Master.”
         Nicholas chuckled to himself and pulled out the Scizor’s pokeball. Ryuko materialized nude and immediately bowed. “Master.”
         “Ryuko, we have company.”
         Ryuko instantly straightened and whirled to Hana. Her hands were moving to cover herself when she saw the nude Ampharos and relaxed. “Ah. Our new sister.” She lowered her hands and stepped forwards to embrace Hana. “Welcome to our Master’s harem.” She pulled back slightly and scanned the Ampharos. “If you display even a fraction of the power you used to disable me, you will serve him well.”
         “I- uhm- thank you,” Hana stuttered. “Master?”
         “Ryuko, go ahead and armor up. We’re still trying to be sneaky.” Hana gasped when Ryuko’s armor appeared. “The road is closed, so we’re cutting through the forest. Hana was worried that she’d need help protecting me.”
         “I would hope not,” Ryuko replied with a laughing tone, “but I celebrate her caution. Come, Sister.” She moved towards the trees, her blades forming along her arms as she did. “I will clear our path.”
         Hana had been right to worry; Nicholas counted eight aggressive ferals before the group made it back to the road. Ryuko was breathing heavily from the fights and Hana, while a bit better off, was covered in cuts and bruises.
         “Good job, Ryuko.” Nicholas recalled her. “Get some rest.”
         “If all of my new harem are like her, Master, I can’t wait to meet them,” Hana whispered.
         “Soon,” Nicholas replied. “As soon as we figure out where Team Rocket is you’ll get to see them all.” He pulled out a potion and began treating her wounds while talking. “Now that we’re back on the road I want you to stay near me. We’re close; and if Team Rocket is at the lake a fight might break out at any moment.” He looked up into her eyes. “I know this is our first real day together. But I’ll be counting on you, Hana.”
         There was absolutely no hesitation when Hana embraced him, crushing Nicholas between her breasts and sinking her nose into his hair. “I swear, Master. I will not let you down.”
         Nicholas extricated himself with a gasp. “Whoah! Hana, careful!”
         Hana instantly let go with a panicked look. “Master? Did I hurt you? Are you-“
         Nicholas wiped his face with his shirt. Being thrust into her cleavage like that… “Er, no. I’m fine.” He awkwardly cleared his throat and shifted his pants when he felt them catch. “Let’s just get moving.”
         “I am so sorry Master I didn’t mean to…”
         “HANA.” Nicholas grabbed the Ampharos’ arm. He could feel his cheeks burning as he spoke. “You didn’t hurt me. You just… got me excited. And uh…” He looked around. “We’re in public.”
         Hana blinked at him a few times before looking down at his growing erection. “Oh.” Nicholas was turning away when fingers slid into his shorts and he gasped when Hana fondled his shaft.
         “Hana!”
         “I did this to you, Master,” Hana murmured. “Please let me fix it.”
         “Hana we’re in the open! And-“ Nicholas moaned as Hana’s other hand lowered his zipper, allowing him to pop free. “Team Rocket…”
         “There is nobody here, Master,” Hana whispered sultrily, dropping to her knees and taking him into her mouth. Her next words were muffled by his dick but he still understood what she was saying. “Even if there was I would do the same.”
         Nicholas staggered back a step, catching himself against a tree as Hana continued working him deeper and deeper. In no time at all he felt himself come and Hana hummed happily, running her tongue over the head of his penis a few times before pulling back and swallowing his load. Nicholas was barely starting to come down when he saw Hana get to her feet and stretch. The sight of the naked Ampharos made his dick twitch and he glanced down. “Ehm, Hana…”
         Hana looked down quizzically but brightened when she saw him back at full mast. “Master?”
         “It’s your fault.”
         Hana giggled happily and pressed against him, once again burying his face between her breasts. This time though it was just a distraction as a few seconds later Nicholas felt something moist envelop his penis.
         Hana took it slow, working him up and down while Nicholas held himself up with the tree. Somewhere in the process he managed to get one of her nipples in his mouth and he teased it with his tongue, receiving a few happy sounds from Hana in return.
         Finally Nicholas came again and felt his body relax. The soft body on top of him, everything from Hana’s generous breasts to her fluffy hair and bubbly attitude… he was in heaven.
         Nicholas pulled himself back as Hana slid off his dick. Everything was sticky, his face, his groin, his shirt, and he looked at Hana’s eyes again to see a pokegirl’s hunger staring back at him.
         Before she could make another move he took her by the waist. “I want nothing more,” he murmured, stroking her navel with his thumb, “than to continue this. But we have to move on.” He gazed at her until he saw her start to calm down. “Once we’re cleaned up we will not stop until we reach the lake.”
         Hana nodded in embarrassment and stood patiently, waiting while Nicholas wiped himself down and got dressed before spreading her own arms. “Please clean me as well, Master.” She bowed her head. “So I am not tempted again.”
         Nicholas nodded and pulled out another pack of wipes, giving most of her body a cursory swipe but paying extra attention to her groin. Hana shuddered when he pushed slightly into her vagina with the cloth but held her ground and lowered her arms when he tossed the dirty wipes away.
         “Now we go to the lake.”
         Hana nodded her agreement and fell in beside him, circling every few minutes as the two continued down the road.
