Chapter 8

Point of View

         A feeling in his groin woke Nicholas and he groaned, rubbing at his eyes as he tried to put his thoughts in order. When something wet engulfed his penis he grabbed the sheets and yanked up.

         Sera smiled at him, her tongue working his morning wood deeper into her mouth. “Good morning Mathter.” Nicholas moaned as he came and Sera sucked him clean. After a minute the Golbat’s wings extended, lifting the blanket so she could stalk up his body.

         “Damnit, Sera.”

         Sera giggled and came to a halt on top of his chest, nestling her head under his chin. “That’s the first time I’ve had a chance to do that. Now that I can.”

         “That’s why you were messing with the tent last night.” They had camped out at the National Park, then returned to Goldenrod the next day, this time taking a leisurely pace. It had been slow enough that they hadn’t gotten back to the city until mid afternoon, far too late to do much besides seek out Bill. The researcher had shown them to his house, a nice place sitting on the harbor, before leaving Nicholas to rest.

         And now he was waking up with a Golbat sucking his dick. There were worse ways, he supposed.

         “Mmhm. Was it good? Did I look sexy?”

         Nicholas considered. “You looked predatory.”

         Sera purred. “Good.”

         “Ugh, but now I’m recharging, and I need to tame that Scyther today.”

         “Well isn’t that too bad?” Sera nipped his chin. “Your vampire wanted her morning suck.”

         “My vampire, who is just a regular pokegirl in my harem, decided to take her morning suck,” Nicholas warned.

         Sera quieted. “I’m sorry.”

         “Don’t say that unless you mean it. Which with the way you’ve been acting since you evolved, I don’t know if you did.”

         Sera remained silent for a bit before rolling off of him and sliding out of bed. Nicholas took the moment to stare. She really was like a new pokegirl – her body had filled out, and her new wings spread from a space just between her shoulder blades. And they were massive for a pokegirl her size. He’d seen her stretch them, estimating their wingspan to be at least six feet feet. Though, the rest of her was the same. The same dirty blonde hair. The same red eyes, and pointed ears, each standing out with how pale her skin was, even on her face. It was still Sera. But she’d definitely changed.

         “I don’t know if I did either,” Sera confessed quietly. “I feel like… I’m at war with myself. Part of me wants to obey you, to stand without thinking until you do it for me. But the other part reminds me that you aren’t like that. That is not the Master you are.” She turned to look at him. “I’m sorry, for what happened in that park. Really, truly sorry. I don’t know why I acted like that.”

         “I forgive you.” Nicholas threw the blankets away and got to his feet. “You were going through something new, so I assume you fell back on baser instincts. Especially for a feralborn like you, that would mean you might do things you wouldn’t otherwise.”

         Sera slowly nodded. “That sounds possible.”

         “I can’t fix everything. But maybe this will help.” Nicholas stroked his chin. “Sera.”

         Sera blinked at his tone. “Master?”

         “I order you, as your tamer and Master, to take whatever action is in my best interest.” He continued when Sera gasped. “If you are ever in doubt, then act to protect me and this harem. Even if – especially if you must protect it from yourself.” He waited a moment. “How about that? Does it quiet the part of you that wanted orders?”

         Sera’s eyes were filled with tears and she nodded. “It did. Completely.” She sniffed and wiped her eyes. “Twice.”

         “Twice?”

         “Twice you have done something that no other tamer would even think about. All to help me.” She shivered. “No matter how many times I say it it won’t be enough. I am yours. Nothing will take you from me.”

         “I want to get to a point where I feel the same, Sera.” Nicholas held out his hand and accepted her own after a few seconds. “Come on. Let’s find Nessa and go shopping.”

         Sera hiccupped. “Shopping?”

         “We’ll need to alter your clothing, now that you have real wings.” Nicholas smiled when she hiccupped again. “And there are a few things I want to pick up before we even think about our next gym.” They were halfway to the door when Nicholas cursed and stopped. “And, shit. The Scyther.”

         Sera laughed and let go of him. “I’ll find Nessa, Master. You tame her.”

         “No, I’m going to run her through a taming cycle. Hope she wasn’t too far gone.” Nicholas cast about until he saw his gear nearby. “Find Nessa, and we’ll get dressed and do all those things we need to do. Besides. The Scyther will want clothes, too.”

         Sera nodded and exited the bedroom, leaving Nicholas to get dressed.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
         “Congrats on the wings.”
         Sera nodded slightly. “Thank you.”
         “Are you two ready to meet this Scyther?” Nicholas was rolling the pokeball between his hands while he watched Nessa and Sera talk. “I know there’s a lot to catch up on, but I’d like to get the day started. I don’t want a repeat of your first day with us, Sera.”
         Sera nodded. “I understand. I’m ready.”
         “Me too,” Nessa called.
         Nicholas turned and triggered the release. The Scyther had been healed and sent through a taming cycle, and supposedly she hadn’t even been feral. Why a tamed pokegirl was in the National Park, he didn’t know. But he wanted to find out.
         The Scyther materialized and immediately found her balance, settling forwards onto the balls of her feet in a motion that both poised her for action and swung her long blonde hair to help cover her nudity. Nicholas could only stare as she took in her surroundings, finding him first before continuing her search to take note of the two watching pokegirls.
         “Good morning. I take it you are the master, and that bat is who I fought?”
         He was instantly reminded of Kali. The Scyther’s stance screamed combat to him, everything from the way she balanced to how her hands rested against her hips. And her beauty. She stood easily as tall as he was, with her hair splayed just barely over the nipples on her small chest. Intoxicating, but if he hadn’t already known that she was a pokegirl, her yellow eyes and the light green exoskeleton that spread across her back and limbs would have given it away. Just like Mewtwo, she was just inhuman enough to be recognizable as a pokegirl, and also just like Kali, she felt dangerous.
         He liked that.
         Nicholas composed himself quickly. “That’s right. According to the pokecenter, you weren’t feral.”
         “That is correct. I was not.” Nicholas waited for her to elaborate further but when she went silent he cleared his throat.
         “Eh-hem. Right. So, even if you weren’t feral, I assume you were in the park because you wanted to be caught?”
         “That is correct,” the Scyther repeated before finally settling back a bit into a more neutral position. “My name is Ryuko. Are you willing to be my Master?”
         “I’ve managed to find a rather intriguing pokegirl, so I suppose so,” Nicholas replied. “Would you like to explain your story, or are you going to keep it hidden until you feel you can trust me?”
         Ryuko cocked her head. “I have trained since birth and upon reaching this city I heard of the contest where tamers attempted to capture Bug-type pokegirls such as myself. I was intrigued enough to sneak in and have spent the last few months keeping myself tame and participating in the hunt every week. You are the only tamer who has commanded a pokegirl that could match me.”
         “Oh.”
         “And thus, I have found my path.”
         “Well, all right then.” Nicholas nodded down the road. “I planned on going to the department store after meeting you. Would you like to purchase some clothes while we’re there?”
         “I do not enjoy being naked for any eyes to see. This body is meant to be seen by my Master, and felt by his enemies. No more.” Ryuko glanced at Nessa and Sera. “Though exceptions may be made for harem sisters.”
         Sera grinned at her. “I’ll take a rematch at any time.”
         “I’m sure you will.” Ryuko looked back to Nicholas. “However, I do not require you to buy me anything. My gear is being held in confidence with an ally. Please take me to the ‘Golden Bargain Shop’ at the north edge of the city.”
         “…Sure.” Nicholas was turning away when Ryuko cleared her throat.
         “As I said, Master, I do not wish for all eyes to be watching me as we travel.”
         “Oh. Sorry.” Nicholas recalled her, waiting a second before looking at Sera and Nessa.
         “What a haughty bitch,” Sera sniffed.
         “I think proud is a better word,” Nessa replied. “And she doesn’t seem that bad. I’d like to get to know her first.”
         Nicholas nodded. “I do too. Looks like we’re headed to this shop of hers before anything else today.”
         The shop in question turned out to be a tiny, almost run-down house near the north gate of Goldenrod. Nicholas stared at it for a bit before walking out of sight of the main road and releasing Ryuko. “We’re here.”
         Ryuko glanced up at the wall next to her. “Yes, we are. Thank you.”
         “So, do I need to go inside, or…” Nicholas trailed off when Ryuko’s wings sprouted and she leapt into the air, grabbing the edge of the roof and swinging under the eaves.
         A few minutes later she popped back out, tossing a cloth bag onto the ground before landing and beginning to rifle through its contents. Nicholas watched as she pulled out a set of red and black exercise clothes, pulling the deep cut t-shirt on first before sliding the shorts over her legs and swinging the bag over her shoulder. “I feel much better now, Master. Thank you.”
         “…yeah. Sure.” Nicholas took a moment to look at her now that she was dressed. “You said you didn’t want other eyes on you, but that shirt would have a gallon of cleavage if your breasts were any bigger.”
         Ryuko smiled. “Perhaps, but the important parts are no longer visible. Let them stare. A distracted enemy is easier to defeat.”
         “Okay then.” Nicholas gestured at the others. “You’ve met Sera already; she’s the Golbat you fought. Next to her is Nessa. And that’s the harem.” He turned back to her. “Well, the harem right now, anyways. I have another half dozen pokegirls at home but they aren’t participating in this gym challenge.”
         Ryuko turned and dropped into a full formal bow in front of Nessa and Sera, much to the Golbat’s surprise. “It is my pleasure to meet each of you. I hope that our time together is fruitful and our victories numerous.”
         “Er… You too.” Sera stared at Ryuko as she straightened again. “Hey, I fought a Scyther before that had these daggers. Do you have some?”
         Ryuko tsked. “I will. I failed to protect my last set and they were lost during my time in the National Park. I will need to form new ones now that I have a Master.”
         “Anything I can do to help with that?”
         Ryuko glanced at Nicholas. “No, Master. I only need time.”
         “Then I’ll leave you alone.” He gestured down the road. “If you’re feeling ready, I’d still like to go to the department store. There are a few essentials we need to pick up and then we’ll head back for lunch.”
         Ryuko slid easily into a position just a step behind and to his left. “Understood, Master.”
         Nessa and Sera scrambled to find their own positions in the group as they walked. Ryuko, on the other hand, seemed attached to Nicholas, never straying from her precise positioning. He’d almost forgotten she was there by the time they stepped into the department store.
         From what he’d learned about the Scyther, it was probably a bodyguard position. He’d somehow been lucky enough to have a highly trained pokegirl drop into his lap, and he’d be damned if he wasn’t going to make use of her starting immediately.
         “Correct. Now, try it on me.”
         Nessa stepped in towards Ryuko, striking with her fist before trying to bring the strike into the Scyther’s chin. Unfortunately her target was gone and before she could reposition Ryuko’s hand was wrapped around her neck.
         “You must drop your fingers. Again.”
         Inside the house, Nicholas sat at the table with Bill and Sera.
         “So you got that one at the park, eh?” Bill took a drink. “She’s a good looking pokegirl there, Nicholas. Well done.”
         “Yeah, I’m happy to have her in the harem.” Nicholas played with his own drink for a bit. “So, Bill. You said you lived here with your family?”
         “Sure, but my wife is out of town visiting her parents with my younger sister. They left Sunday. So it’s just me, Maya, and our other guest here right now.” Bill shrugged. “And you and your harem, I suppose.”
         Nicholas nodded. “Maya. She’s your pokegirl, right?”
         “Yep, Maya is my upgraded Porygon. You almost met her back in Kanto but I think you and Michael left before she could introduce herself.”
         “Yeah, sounds about right.”
         “If you want to meet I can call her. She’s probably playing around in the transporter systems again.”
         Nicholas frowned. “I’d heard about Porygon being a synthetic pokegirl, but what are you talking about?”
         “Oh, never run into one before? A Porygon’s main ability is to digitize herself at will. So for example if she was here, physically, she could turn into data and go into your pokedex.” Bill reached into his pocket and pulled out a small communication device. “Here. Watch.”
         Nicholas watched Bill activate the device, but the man didn’t speak. They sat in silence for a few minutes before Nicholas awkwardly cleared his throat.
         “So, are we supposed to say something, or…?”
         Bill waved a hand. “No, she’s coming. Probably finishing whatever she was doing.”
         Nicholas stared at the speakers for another few seconds until he saw red and blue sparks start buzzing along the mesh.
         Suddenly light spewed onto the table, eventually coalescing into a female shape. The only way Nicholas could think to describe the Porygon’s appearance was fake. She looked like a doll.
         Maya finished materializing and turned to Bill. “Yes, Master Bill?”
         “We have a guest. Nicholas, the tamer who visited us in Kanto?” Bill nodded across the table. “I wanted him to meet you.”
         Maya turned and inclined her head. “It is my pleasure to meet you, master Nicholas. I am Maya, Master Bill’s pokegirl and research assistant.”
         “It’s nice to meet you as well,” Nicholas replied, waiting for Maya to step off the table before continuing. “So, that’s Maya. Did you say you had another guest as well?”
         Bill nodded. “I do. I’ve got a soft spot for her, but she’s just staying here until she figures out what she’s doing.”
         Nicholas chuckled. “You’ve got a soft spot for her? Who is she?”
         “An Eevee from Ecruteak.” Bill gestured at a closed door. “She’s had a bit of a… falling out, with her sisters, apparently. Morty asked me to give her a place to stay.” Bill shot a look across the table and lowered his voice. “If you ask me, she just needs a good tamer. Eh? Eh?”
         Nicholas rolled his eyes. “I’d have to ask this Morty person, wouldn’t I? Who’s he?”
         “Oh, Morty is Ecruteak’s gym leader.” Bill laughed when Nicholas’ face fell. “Oh, relax! Maya, ask Morty if… what’s her name again?”
         “Miyuki, Master Bill.”
         “Send a message asking Morty if Miyuki is allowed to go with a tamer. He only said she needed to get away from her sisters, I have no idea if they’re from a ranch, or they’re all part of a harem…”
         “That’s fine, really,” Nicholas protested. “I don’t want to seem like I’m trying to steal a pokegirl.”
         “No, I was joking, but I think Miyuki would benefit from having a good tamer. Someone like you.” Bill shrugged. “But if you don’t want her that’s a different story.”
         “I mean, I haven’t even met her.”
         Bill glanced at the closed door again. “I guess not. She barely leaves her room anyways.” He sighed and put his glass down. “You go do whatever it is you need to do and let me see if I can’t tempt her out here to at least meet you.”
         “You’re making it sound like she’s depressed.”
         “Honestly, she might be.” Bill turned back to Nicholas. “She barely eats, barely comes outside, whatever fallout she had with her sisters must have shaken her up pretty badly.”
         “I guess I know how she feels.” Nicholas thoughtfully swirled the ice in his own glass. “Up until a little while ago, I was in a real bad place. But I’m trying to get better.”
         “Maybe you can help this Eevee get better, too.” Bill held out his hand. “What do you say?”
         Nicholas took it and shook. “If she wants me, I’ll do what I can.”
         “Attaboy.” Bill stood. “Maya, have you sent that message?”
         “Yes, Master Bill.”
         “Good. That’s all I needed from you.” When Maya dissolved back into light he walked to the Eevee’s door. “Like I said, you go do your thing, Nicholas. We’ll be here.”
         Nicholas got to his feet, prompting Sera to do the same. “All right. I’m going to head outside, might run some errands.”
         Bill waved and was knocking on the door when Nicholas left.
         “How’s it going out here?” Nicholas asked as they emerged. Nessa looked up, starting to say something, when Ryuko’s fist jabbed right into her solar plexus and she collapsed.
         “She is learning, but her progress is slow, Master.” Ryuko stepped back to let Nessa struggle to her feet. “I agree with your analysis. I will do my best to make Nessa into a fighting pokegirl.”
         “Yeah, if you don’t beat me to death first,” Nessa wheezed.
         Ryuko laughed and slid forwards, her hands a blur as they struck a tune across Nessa’s spikes. “We will get there, sister.” She jumped back when Nessa’s tail whipped out. “One day at a time.”
         Nicholas nodded slightly when he heard Ryuko talk about days. “Yeah. And I think we’re going to spend at least a few days before our next gym. Let you all get to know each other, do some training, generally grow. Also, I want us to start training with these.”
         The pokegirls turned to look at the box Nicholas had produced. “What are they?” Sera asked. “I saw you buy that in the department store.”
         “These are the best two-way radios money can buy.” Nicholas popped open the case to reveal eight small black objects. “They even gave me a spare, just in case one breaks.”
         Ryuko reached the box first and pulled out a radio to inspect. “This seems rather… small, Master. Are you sure it works?”
         “That’s what I want to find out.” Nicholas took his own earpiece and slid it into place. “Everyone grab one and let’s simulate a battle.” Once the pokegirls had their own radios in place he pulled out a controller and manipulated it, waiting until he saw four active signals. “Okay. Can you girls hear me?”
         While Nicholas and his harem were busy testing their new equipment, Bill was standing in front of the closed door to Miyuki’s room. He knocked again, waiting patiently before rapping the door a bit harder. “Miyuki, I made lunch. And we have guests.”
         A mumbled retort made him smile. “Yes, I think you should meet them. You can’t stay hiding in there forever.”
         Eventually the door was cracked open and a petite pokegirl peeked out at him. “Why?”
         “Because Morty asked me to take care of you so that you could get away from your troubles, not to hide from them.” Bill rested his hand on the door when Miyuki tried to pull back. “One means you’re getting space and recovering, the other means you’re giving up.”
         Miyuki let go of the door and it swung open a bit more to reveal her dressed only in an oversized shirt. “I don’t want to meet whatever tamer you’re getting rid of me with.”
         Bill slowly shook his head. “He’s not here to steal you away. If you really don’t feel ready to even interact with someone new, then that’s fine. He’s only going to be in town for a few days anyways.” Bill sighed when Miyuki shut the door again. “I’ll make up a lunch plate,” he called. “It’ll be on the table like usual.”
         When there was no further response he walked away.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

         There wasn’t much conversation around the table that night. Nicholas’ harem was tired, he was tired, and Bill was kind enough not to press them. It didn’t help the mood that there was a full, untouched plate marking where Miyuki was not sitting.

         Finally Nicholas broke the silence. “So. Bill. What exactly is Miyuki’s story? You said something about her having a fight with her sisters?”

         “Yeah. Thing is, I don’t really know much about her. I know she ran away from home and that’s about it. You’d have to ask her directly if you want to know more.”

         Nicholas’ eyes wandered to the empty chair. “Huh.”

         “Yup.”

         Silence fell over the table again until Ryuko got to her feet. “Master. If you would, I am ready to turn in for the night.”

         Nicholas looked at her. “Uh huh? And?”

         “Am I not meant to sleep in my pokeball?”

         Nicholas blinked. “Why would you… Oh, because of last night? Last night I thought you were a feral. No, all of you can sleep outside of your pokeballs. Especially since we’re staying at Bill’s house. If we’re ever in a situation that limits our space I might have you in your pokeball more often, but I prefer my pokegirls beside me.”

         Ryuko stared at him curiously. “Always?”

         “Well, sure. I know there are ways to see outside of your pokeball and to release yourself, but it’s so much easier to just have you already out.” Nicholas shrugged. “Besides. Professor Elm asked me to do it too, so I’ve got another reason.”

         “Then…”

         “Wondering where you can sleep?” Nicholas got up and started to grab his plate when Bill waved his hand.

         Bill gave Nicholas a sly wink. “No, no, I can clean up. You go ahead.”

         Nicholas took a moment before setting his plate back down with a nod. “All right. I’ll show you where you’ll be sleeping tonight.”

         Sera and Nessa watched the two vanish down a hall before Sera snorted.

         “She’s not going to be in our room when we get there, is she,” Nessa muttered.

         “Nope.”

         Ryuko followed Nicholas until he came to a halt in front of a door. “Here we are.”

         She stepped inside and froze. There was only one bed in the room, a large king’s size. Nearby she could see Nicholas’ gear scattered across the floor. “Master…?”

         “Something wrong?”

         Ryuko slowly turned to him. Nicholas had an amused look on his face, one eyebrow cocked slightly to complement his smile, and she felt herself shiver when the implication sunk in.

         “No, Master… Nothing is wrong.”

         “Because if there is, I want you to tell me.” Nicholas’ smile faded slightly as he spoke. “I value my pokegirls’ opinions and wishes. If you have something to say, I want to hear it. If you don’t want to be with me… Well, I’ll be disappointed, but I’ll leave you alone.”

         Ryuko stared at him. “You… would treat me as your equal?”

         “Of course. I’ve always treated my pokegirls with respect. We’ll get into fights, sure, and I might cross the line sometimes. But you are just as much of a person as I am. So it would be stupid not to treat you like one.”

         Ryuko carefully reached out to take his hand. “If you speak truth…”

         “Hey, no vows. Sera already has that covered.”

         Ryuko blinked before breaking out into a smile. “Of course, Master. Besides, now is not the time for that.”

         Nicholas returned the smile. “That’s right. Now is the time for THIS!”

         Ryuko let out a squeal when he grabbed her and ran for the bed. He was surprised to feel how light the Scyther was and easily tossed her onto the mattress, pouncing a second later and running his hand under her shirt.

         He was used to pokegirls having bodies that were designed for combat, but the contoured muscles under his fingers took it another step. Her skin was perfectly taut when she arched her back, the musculature running under her ribs pushing his hand up to brush the underside of her small breasts.

         Ryuko noticed him hesitating and relaxed slightly so that she could look at him. “Master…?”

         Nicholas impulsively flung her shirt over her head. Ryuko made a short gasp when he bent closer and traced one finger up her body to come to a rest on her nipple. “Your body.”

         Ryuko shivered. “Yes?”

         “The only pokegirl I’ve ever seen that looks like this is Maka. And she’s from a breed of extinct primordial killing machines.” He looked up at Ryuko. “But even she didn’t have a body like this. This is…”

         Ryuko swallowed convulsively. “Master?”

         “What you told me. The way you walked, your moves when you were sparring, even the way you talk. You said you trained, yes, but all this… Ryuko, who trained you?”

         Ryuko let out her breath. After a few second Nicholas removed his hands and sat up, waiting for her to respond.

         “I am sorry, Master, but there are secrets I will never be able to share.” Ryuko slowly settled back with her eyes drifting to the ceiling. “I have seen potential within this harem but if you insist I will have no choice but to leave.”

         “That serious, huh?” Nicholas slid up next to her. “Humor me. Can you not share them because you don’t trust me yet?”

         Ryuko sighed. “It is not simply trust, Master. I have not been given any reason to doubt you. It is a matter of worth.”

         “What, because I’m just a human?”

         “No, there are humans who know this secret. I simply do not know if you are one worthy of holding it.”

         A smile tugged at the corner of Nicholas’ mouth. “What would make me worthy?”

         “There is no single achievement, Master. Perhaps with time I will find enough of your actions to be worthy.”

         “No single achievement, huh? I mean, I have a few gym badges.”

         Ryuko snorted. “No offense, Master, but I doubt your ‘few’ badges are enough to even begin judging your worth.” She waited a few seconds before raising her head to see him rummaging in a drawer. “Master?”

         “Just a second.” Nicholas finally pulled out his pokedex and turned it on. “Just finding a picture.”

         Ryuko waited for him to hand her the pokedex and scrutinized the group photo. “What is this, Master?”

         “That’s the current Champion’s hall of fame card.”

         Ryuko looked back up at him quizzically. “Why do you believe I wish to see this?”

         “Just thought you’d find it interesting.”

         Ryuko tried to hand the pokedex back. “All I see are pokegirls I must one day match myself against.” Her eyebrows furrowed when Nicholas began to laugh. “Master, I thought we were here to tame.”

         “Heh. We are.” Nicholas gestured at the pokedex still in her hand. “Just, take a closer look.”

         Ryuko sighed but looked back down at the image. “For what, Master?”

         “Just look.”

         Ryuko stared at the harem, her eyes flicking over the tamer every time she scanned, until she finally drifted to the face in the middle.

         Nicholas chuckled when her head snapped up. “Hi.”

         Ryuko quickly looked down again, scrabbling with the screen until it enlarged and she could get a better look. Up, down, and up again before the pokedex dropped out of her suddenly trembling hands. “Oh-“

         “Is that enough to make me worthy?”

         Ryuko instantly pulled her legs back underneath her body, going from laying on her back to kneeling in an astonishingly smooth motion. “It shows you are more than I am worthy of, Master.”

         Nicholas snorted and poked her forehead, pushing just hard enough to send her back onto the mattress. “Stop that. I said no vows, didn’t I? Sera and her blood devotion is enough for me, thank you.”

         “I must give it. I am Ryuko of no clan, keeper of no history. I pledge my everything to you, my Master, to defend and uphold your will.”

         Ryuko had kept her knees folded even when he had pushed her over so now Nicholas reached over and pushed her shorts up to her knees. “You pokegirls and your obsession with service.” He smiled to show Ryuko he was joking as he pulled them around and back down her legs to leave the Scyther nude. “Now then. Since you’ve gotten that out of your system, how about a little question-and-answer session? For every question of mine you answer, you can ask one of me.” Ryuko was thinking when she felt something rub against her clit and she gasped. “Or if you would rather, I can give you a reward.”

         Ryuko looked at him with pleading eyes. “Master, you would taunt me with such an impossible choice?”

         Nicholas chuckled and rested his member against her skin. “First question. Where were you trained?”

         “It is known only as the academy, Master, or sometimes as the jujitsu academy.” Ryuko squirmed.  “I- I have so many things I want to ask.”

         “Choose.”

         Ryuko finally relaxed. “I can’t, Master. Please. I want your reward.”

         Nichola gently stroked her cheek. “A special one, then, for such an honest pokegirl.” Ryuko screamed in pleasure when he penetrated her, reaching out to clutch Nicholas while the two moved together. After a few seconds he slowed and Ryuko moaned piteously. “Next question.”

         “Master, I beg you, I will answer anything you ask! But please!” Ryuko desperately clutched at his face. “Do not stop.”

         Nicholas grinned down at her. “As you wish.”

          He felt her legs hook his own when he thrust again, enjoying the moment with her until he felt himself release. Ryuko felt him come and basked in the sensation, feeling the deep ache that had filled her slowly subside. When Nicholas pulled back she arched her back seductively. “More, Master?”

         Nicholas smiled and patted her leg. “Give me a minute.” His eyes were drawn to the edge of Ryuko’s carapace, the emerald green exoskeleton just barely peeking out from where it covered her back, and he absentmindedly reached out.

         Ryuko was stretching, her perky nipples waving in the air, when she felt Nicholas’ finger trace the edge between her skin and carapace.

         Nicholas recoiled when Ryuko screamed, her entire body shaking before she collapsed in a panting pile. “What the-“ he blinked. Slowly he reached out again and ran a finger along the seam, staying at it this time when Ryuko let out a strangled cry. “Don’t tell me.”

         Ryuko thrashed but no matter how violently she moved the areas Nicholas was stroking didn’t budge. “Master- I- I- AH!” Ryuko’s entire body arched when she came and Nicholas finally released her with a shit-eating grin plastered across his face.

         “Is it just your shoulder? Or…” Nicholas suddenly grabbed Ryuko, lifting her up and running his hands along her sides until he found where her skin transitioned to the carapace on her back.

         Ryuko’s eyes rolled back from the pleasure and Nicholas felt her grinding against his leg. He let go with one hand, reaching the other down and slipping easily into her soaked pussy. Ryuko screamed wordlessly as he pleasured her, finally giving out and collapsing back when he bent down to tease a nipple with his teeth at the same time. The utter overload from every major erogenous zone on her body sent her over the edge and another orgasm rocked her body, a third threatening to come until Nicholas pulled his fingers out and let off his ministrations.

         “Sensitive, are we?” He chuckled when Ryuko moaned. “If you’re not careful I’ll be dicking you hard again in a few minutes.”

         Ryuko’s blissful smile radiated when she held her hands out expectantly. “That long, Master?”

         Nicholas kissed her lips, teasing his way back and forth before engulfing her in a deep kiss. When he broke away Ryuko felt something poke her groin and she giggled happily.

         There was no more conversation between them; only sex for almost an hour with a few short breaks. Finally, hot, sweaty, and generally exhausted, the two collapsed onto the bed.

         A few rooms away, accompanied by the sounds of panting, Miyuki’s twitching ears finally stilled.

         Ryuko was walking down the hall, still pulling on her clothes, when a half-opened door caught her eye.

         “Stupid... fucking... shirt!” Sera finally got her wings through the modified slits and pulled her shirt together. As she did the hem caught on a wingtip and she was yanked sideways with another curse. “SHIT!”

         Ryuko cleared her throat and Sera whirled to see the Scyther standing in the door. “Do you need assistance?”

         “I- no, I’ll be fine.” Sera turned away and struggled free before finally stretching her wings out and away from the fabric. “There.”

         Ryuko watched her strain to secure the buttons. “Why do you wear something so restrictive? You can not fold your wings like I can, so any full top will always be uncomfortable.”

         Sera gave up on the top button and turned to Ryuko. “Because he bought me this. Master Nicholas. When we first met.”

         Ryuko cocked an eyebrow. “I see. Though I wonder, why would he purchase an item so clearly not made for a body like yours?”

         Sera rolled her arms to settle the fabric. “Because when we first met, I was just a Zubat. My arms and wings were the same.” She held up her hands with a smile. “Now they’re not, so the shirt doesn’t quite work. But that’s okay-“

         “There is no reason it shouldn’t,” Ryuko interrupted. “There is a talented seamstress in this city. If you would like, I will take you to them.”

         Sera blinked. “You’d do that for me?”

         “Of course. I wish to do whatever I can for all of my new harem.”

         Sera awkwardly rubbed her neck. “But... I’m the one who beat you up.”

         Ryuko smiled. “All the more reason to respect you, is it not? I do wish to learn from you, just as you have indicated that you wish to learn from me.”

         “Well, yeah, I guess that makes sense.” Sera dropped her hands with a nod. “All right. I guess we should get Master Nicholas.”

         “Master doesn’t need to come with us for this,” Ryuko replied. “We should tell him where we are going, yes, but there is no reason to force him along on our errands. And I am sure our sister Nessa will make great use of the time alone.”

         Sera made a face but followed Ryuko out the door. “Yeah, she will. Whatever. I do want a shirt that isn’t crushing my wings.”

         Ryuko was chuckling when she saw someone creeping down the hallway ahead of them. “Hello?”

         The figure jumped, Miyuki craning her head back and only seeming to calm slightly when she saw two pokegirls. “H’llo?”

         Ryuko stepped forwards, taking in the armful of food the Eevee was holding. “Are you the other guest master Bill has been speaking of?”

         Miyuki swallowed her mouthful. “Uhm, yes, that’s me. Sorry to disturb you so I’ll just head back to my room...”

         “Are you searching for your path as well?”

         Miyuki stopped. “Am I what?”

         “Your path. Until a few days ago, I did not know my own.” Ryuko nodded at Sera. “Not until this Golbat and her Master defeated me in combat. Now I believe I have found my path.”

         “Yeah, well, I’m not looking for a tamer.” Miyuki looked away. “I’m just... I’m supposed to be something but nobody listens when I say that I’m not it. They just wouldn’t stop harassing me and I...” she trailed off. “I ran away from home. I’m not searching for anything. I’m hiding.”

         Ryuko cocked her head. “That you understand such means you are searching for your path. Do not stop looking, for you will find it one day.”

         “Sure. Thanks.” Miyuki continued walking away.

         Sera watched her disappear into the house. “Funny.”

         Ryuko glanced at her. “Yes?”

         “That’s what Master Nicholas was going through when I first met him. He didn’t think he was what others said he was.”

         Ryuko frowned. “I felt nothing of the sort from him last night.”

         “No, because he pulled himself out of that. Now he’s everything people said he was.” Sera grinned. “You’ll see.”

         Ryuko grinned back. “I look forward to it.” She gestured. “Now. Shall we go to the seamstress?”

         Miyuki rested against her closed door and listened to the two chatter as they walked past. First what she had overheard the night before, and now this? They must all be trying to trick her. There was no way this tamer treated his pokegirls like this. It was all to get her near him, and then he’d strike. It was the only explanation.

         But mister Bill was right. She couldn’t hide forever. She looked down, picking at the clothes he had lent her. While she was still here… she could use him to get her own stuff. Maybe…

         The two turned when Miyuki’s door slammed open and the Eevee ran out. “Wait!”

         Sera folded her arms when Miyuki ran up to them. “Weren’t you just going back to hide in your room?”

         Miyuki glanced away. “Um. I was, but… you said you were going to a seamstress, right?”

         “I was taking my harem sister Sera to one, yes,” Ryuko replied. “But you are not a part of Master’s harem, so it would not be right to take you away without permission.”

         Miyuki’s already flushed face burned. She hadn’t counted on being rejected. And this felt even worse than she had expected.

         “Maybe if we ask master Bill,” Sera was saying. “He’s basically her tamer, right?”

         “Perhaps.” Ryuko turned back to Miyuki. “Wait here.”

         Miyuki looked back up to see Ryuko walking away. “Where is she going?”

         “Didn’t you hear, with those big ears of yours?” Sera made motions with her hands to mimic the Eevee’s large fluffy ears. “I mean you heard the rest of our conversation.”

         “Oh… I wasn’t listening.”

         “Huh.” Sera nodded towards where Ryuko had vanished. “She’s finding master Bill to ask if it’s all right for us to take you out of the house.”

         “She… is?” Miyuki canted her head slightly. “Why would she go out of her way for me?”

         “Dunno. She seems like a nice girl.” Sera winced and rubbed her face. “Damn, and I insulted her when we first met. Guess I should apologize even if she didn’t hear me.”

         “Um. Can I, ask something?” Miyuki squirmed when Sera turned her full attention towards her. “Your… tamer, what’s he like?”

         “Master Nicholas? He’s incredible. He’s my first tamer and I don’t think I’d have survived anyone else,” she laughed.

         “R-Really?”

         “Sure. There’s just something so… honest, about him. Like he’s not afraid to be wrong.” Sera smiled to herself. “In fact, he made some mistakes, and he fixed them. I hope to one day prove myself to him.”

         Miyuki swallowed. “What did he do?”

         Sera’s smile faded and she stared off into space for a bit. “You know… I don’t think I can tell you. It’s kind of private.” She seemed to hesitate, fighting back and forth on whether to say something. “If you asked him he might share.”

         Miyuki flinched back. “No. That’s fine.”

         “Ever had a tamer?” Sera asked.

         “Er… No. That, thing, that I talked about before… I was supposed to be ‘free from human bonds’, whatever bullshit that meant.” Miyuki purpled when Sera broke out laughing. “HEY!”

         “Sorry, I just- it sounds like you were being turned into a priestess! That’s hilarious!” When Miyuki looked away Sera’s laughs petered out. “Wait. You were?”

         “I’d rather not talk about it.”

         “That’s what got you into a fight with your sisters, then.” Sera raised her hands when Miyuki pulled her arm across her body defensively. “Sorry. I’ll stay out of it.”

         Ryuko chose that moment to come back in view with a huge smile. “Miyuki, mister Bill thinks it is a wonderful idea for you to get out of the house.” She looked between her and Sera. “Did something happen?”

         “No. I’m fine.” Miyuki dropped her arm and swallowed to calm herself. “Let’s go.”

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
         “So, Sera, last night Master said something about a blood oath?” Ryuko asked. Sera was seated with a pokegirl busily taking her measurements and she glanced over at the Scyther’s question. “Master made it sound like he wouldn’t accept my own pledge to him.”
         “Oh. That?” Sera turned away again. “He fed me his blood.”
         Ryuko went completely silent as her eyes began to widen. “He did?”
         A few aisles away, Miyuko stared at the outfit she had picked out, but she wasn’t focused on it. Her ears strained to catch every word that the two others said. Ever since arriving at the store, she couldn’t help herself. She wanted… no, for some reason she needed to know what they would say.
         “He didn’t have to. But he chose to.” Sera moved her wings when the seamstress gestured. “So I am his, forever.”
         “You’re right. You are.” Ryuko shook her head in awe. “He did it all on his own? You didn’t steal a bite?”
         “I bit him when I was feral, but I didn’t drink. The last human I drank from…” Sera trailed off. “Anyways, yes. He did it all on his own.”
         “I trained with many Zubat and Golbat, so I know how sacred that act was.” Ryuko smiled. “It seems we share a common purpose, my sister. It makes me even happier knowing that you are the one who first defeated me, and gave me this chance to serve our Master.”
         Miyuko brought her attention back to the clothes in her hands when Sera and Ryuko started chatting about random things. With a jerk she opened her clenched hands, letting the crumpled fabric fall to the floor. This act… they were so devoted to it that even when she wasn’t nearby, they continued with it. Could it be then that it wasn’t…?
         She perked her ears up again when she heard Sera say Nicholas’ name. “Yeah. About that,” Sera sighed. “Master Nicholas doesn’t trust me yet. Not really. He still treats me perfectly, but he’s always… on his guard, when I’m nearby. And I didn’t make it any better after fighting you.”
         Ryuko nodded. “How so?”
         “Well, uh, I wasn’t thinking straight. And I scared him. Again.” Sera’s fingers clenched her pants. “All I’ve known is the wild. Being feral. So I don’t understand how I’m supposed to act around him. And I scare him.” She shook her head when Ryuko started to speak. “Nessa has been helping me. And like I said, he still accepts me as I am. But sometimes I wish… I wish that I could try it again. From the start. And not attack him that time. Not hurt him.”
         “If there is one thing I can believe, sister, it is that our Master respects strength.” Ryuko patted Sera’s shoulder affectionately. “He is the Champion, after all. Have you ever asked him how he feels about you?”
         “He says I feel dangerous, and that I scare him.” Sera trailed off. “Though… he does usually say that he means it in a good way. But how can he? If I scare him, and he doesn’t trust me, how can that be good?”
         “Last night he said the same to me,” Ryuko said. “He likened me to a killing machine. But it was a compliment. The only way he knew to rationalize my body.” She hiked up her shirt with a grin. “I have spent my life training myself, and he recognized that. You should be proud that he sees the same potential in you.”
         “Maybe I’m just not a fighter like you,” Sera muttered. “I don’t like what I remember. The things I’ve killed to stay alive. I didn’t do any of it intentionally.”
         Ryuko dropped her shirt and squatted down to be at Sera’s eye level. “I see.” She searched Sera’s eyes for a bit before standing. “But would you kill to protect him?”
         Sera’s entire body tensed at the question. “Yes.”
         “You would choose to go that far if it was for him. You are ashamed because you went that far when it was for yourself.” Ryuko smiled again. “Do not worry, Sera. You may have no training, but you are my sister at heart. The tenants I was taught have come to you as naturally as your instincts.”
         Miyuki shivered and crept away when Sera responded. “What training?”
         “I will ask our Master to take us there. To the place I was raised. It will do you good, I think, to see others like you. Like us.”
         “Maybe.” Sera stood when the seamstress finally stepped away. “Okay?”
         “I am already done, miss.”
         Sera blinked before craning her neck back. “But…” She flapped her wings, frowning when she didn’t feel the rub of fabric. “How?”
         The pokegirl bowed. “I pride myself in my work, miss. How does it feel?”
         Sera reached up and fastened her top button before flapping again. “I feel nothing at all. How did you do it?”
         “I have changed the slits to an open-back design, much more suited for you. It will allow full mobility while retaining as much of the original fabric as possible.”
         Sera stretched, slowly growing a grin as she got used to the new fit. “It’s perfect.”
         “I am glad you like it, miss.” The pokegirl bowed again. “I can check you out at any time.”
         “Yes. I have a credit chip.” Ryuko walked away with the seamstress. “Will you find Miyuki, Sera? Make sure she is doing well.”
         Sera nodded and looked around, making her way deeper into the store. After a few minutes she caught a glimpse of sandy fur flash around a corner and she followed. “Miyuki?” A muffled noise caught her attention and she pushed some racks aside to see the Eevee hunched against the wall. “Miyuki?” she repeated. “Are you all right?”
         Miyuki looked up and Sera frowned. The Eevee’s face was a bright red and her mouth hung open slightly as she panted. “S-Sera?”
         “Yeah, we’re all done. Are you all right?” Sera stepped forwards but Miyuki staggered away.
         “N-No… Leave me alone…” Miyuki sniffed, wiping at her eyes. “You’re just being nice to get me off guard… And then you’ll force me… And then… And then…”
         “MIYUKI!” Sera lunged forwards when the Eevee collapsed. “Hey!” She turned back to the front of the store. “RYUKO!”
         Ryuko burst into view a minute later. “Sera?” She stopped when she saw Miyuki in the Golbat’s arms. “What happened?”
