Chapter 6

Leo couldn’t help but smile as he lazily trailed his hand over Mia’s cute naked grey now tailless butt. Though his pride didn’t want to admit it, he was more than a little worn out from all of the sex. He wasn’t sure how long they had spent playing with her tail and doing all sorts of kinky though fun things with it before she had taken the Mana crystal and the Dream stone and evolved into a Bramage with had spurred a completely new round of vigorous sex. He wasn’t sure if he really liked most of the things they had done but they hadn’t exactly been unpleasant either, plus he had understood that it had been her way of saying farewell to her tail. Something that he couldn’t really deny her, he knew that he would miss an arm or a leg if it got severed or suddenly vanished. He didn’t see how having a tail for years then losing it was any different. He was actually extremely proud of her for taking the change so well. Though it was hard to tell because she had tended to crouch in her old form but her new form was almost as tall as his own. He smiled, “So you feeling better?”

Mia sighed, “Mia is annoyed that this is happening to her. It was much more amusing when it was happening to Sin. Mia laughed for days.”

Leo chuckled lightly, “Karma’s a bitch isn’t she.”

“Mia thinks so.”

Leo chuckled as he rolled off of the bed and pulled on his boxers. “We should probably see what that delightful smell is. I’m sure Sin is making something sinfully delicious.”

“Mia thinks you’ve been waiting to say that all night.”

“Just about. Now let‘s eat.”

Mia sighed as she got up and took a few steps unsteadily, “Mia isn’t used to not having a tail again.”

He chuckled as he helped steady her and guided her out of the room. “Here let me help you.”

She was still a bit unsteady without her tail but with his help made it back into the living room. “What’s for breakfast?”

Sin smiled, “Heya sleepy head. You look very nice. Good enough to eat.”

Mia smiled as she unsteadily made her way to check on Ember, “Thanks.”

“A little taller than I remember as a human, plus I don’t think your ears were quite as big either, though maybe. Larger melons though.” She smiled at the nice view as Mia bent down to check on Ember.”

Leo chuckled, “So did you and Lily have fun?”

Sin grinned as she pulled her gaze away from Mia‘s backside, “Oh yeah, got even more fun when Jenny joined. You wouldn’t believe how good that girl is with her tongue.”

Leo chuckled, “I’m just going to assume you’re talking about Jenny and not my sister and move along to breakfast.”

Sin grinned, “Sure, you do that, I’m not going to stop you.”

He glanced over to where Mia and Jenny were quietly chatting with a much improved Ember. “So how’s the patient.”

Jenny smiled at Leo, “She’ll be fine. I fixed up her legs so she should be ready to go as soon as we are.”

Ember looked up at Mia with a frown, “Ember go? Where we going?”

Mia hugged Ember, “We are going to travel a bit and see the world again.”

Ember smiled, “Traveling fun.”

Mia smiled, “Why don’t you get your stuff packed up.”

Lily blinked as Ember came scurrying through the doorway as she made her way out of the second bedroom. “She’s obviously feeling better.”

Mia smiled as a half dressed Lily bounced into the room, “So what’s the plan.”

Leo shrugged, “We have a couple of options, depends on how soon we want to get back. Whichever we decide though she should probably pick Gabrielle up from the pokecenter.”

Mia frowned, “Mia would like to pick up Ember’s pokeball if we can find it.”

Sin grinned before walking over and using her tail to caress Mia’s leg, “Sin loves it when you talk like that.”

Mia rolled her eyes, “Just because Mia teased you.”

Sin grinned, “Yeah, payback you see.”

Leo chuckled as he walked over and started working on devouring his share of the breakfast, “Have fun.”

Lily chuckled as Sin took that as permission have fun with Mia.

Jenny smirked as she looked at her topless tamer, “We should have brought more of Helen’s milk with us.”

Lily laughed, “No way am I going to drink any that hasn’t been properly heated.”

Leo winced, “I’m trying to eat, that is not a happy image.”

Jenny giggled, “I bet Breena would enjoy it.”

Leo couldn’t help but chuckle, “Most likely.”

“I am going to meet her some day, yes?”

“Sure, as soon as we finish up things here.”

“Hopefully she’s as much fun teasing as you are.”

Lily chuckled, “She’s slightly more fun.”
~

Tiffany smiled as Ember poked her head into the bedroom, “Feeling better?”

Ember bobbed her head happily, “Yes, thank you.”

“Did you need something?”

“Packing.”

“Did you want help?”

Ember shook her head, she didn’t really have too many possessions, just a couple of pretty rocks and some winter clothes Mia had gotten for her. “Ember good.”

Tiffany smiled, “Okay then, tell me if you need me to move or something.”

Ember nodded, “Question?”

“What’s that?”

“How long, you and Leo?”

Tiffany smiled, “Five years, he’s nice.”

Ember nodded, “Mia looks sort of like she used to, am I going to get her back?”

Tiffany could sympathize with the girl for not wanting to find a new tamer, “I’m not sure, I don’t see why not. I’ll have to talk it over with Leo and see what can be done. I’ve got a few ideas though.”

Ember smiled as she gave the large bunny girl a hug.

Gabrielle tried to pay attention as the museum guide droned on and on. It was bad enough that the subject of the horrible monologue was the history of the town but the worst part was that the guy had a monotone voice that could have granted Professor Binns his eternal rest. So it really wasn’t much of a surprise that she wasn’t having all that much fun. The only reason she hadn’t already stalked out was because Sarah and Abby had wanted to come but the museum assistant had said that pokegirls had to be supervised. Left to herself she would have rather been upstairs looking at the art section or downstairs in the section devoted to the history of magic. She couldn’t help but be a little creeped out that her girls didn’t seem to mind the idiot’s monologue, though to be fair she was sure that she would have found it more interesting if she knew more of the history of this region. She was therefore a bit relieved when her cell phone vibrated in her pocket announcing a message. She smiled as she checked the message from Leo, “Mission accomplished, where do you want to meet? And why is your phone in text mode only?” She twisted her phone sideways and used the touch screen to type her response, “I’m in the damn Museum with the girls, stuck listening to some one that would make Binns cry, come save me.” She sighed and closed it when “Haha, coming.” appeared on the screen. She slipped the phone into her pocket as the tour guide started into a rant about the forming of the mountains that surrounded the area. She decided that the best solution would be to just zone out until the monster finished his diabolical plan to kill her with boredom.

~

Leo tried to suppress a chuckle but failed as he listened to Gabrielle’s story about her horrible ordeal as they walked toward the exit of the museum. He waited for a break in her rant, “Was it really that bad?”

Abby shook her head, even as Gabrielle nodded vigorously. “Yes, okay well maybe not, but you know how I feel about history if it’s not about the occult.”

Leo chuckled, “Yeah the only subject you had to work at to pass.”

She nodded, “It’s boring, but anyways let’s get out of here.”

Leo nodded, “So any particular destination in mind?”

“Some place far away from here. Where is the girl?”

“With Lily back at the pokecenter.” He let the next thought hang heavy in his mind without saying it, sure that his sister would catch it, ‘They decided to get to work learning all of the techs they could from the extra girls before we shipped them off to their buyers. Lily picked up a girl as well out of the deal. I think you‘ll like her.’

Gabrielle nodded, “Well as long as she fits in.”

“Speaking of, have you heard from Rose?”

“Yeah, her and Taika are hanging out at the center. She got Olive settled with the council.” He winced.

“You have that something bad happened look.”

“Yeah well she wasn’t alone when she came back. Uncle Xander and Aunt Dawn decided to come for a visit.”

Gabrielle blinked, “What?”

~

Xander Harris smiled as he watched Sin conjure a brownie from thin air, he was impressed by the magic. Sure it wasn’t end the world level but anyone that could conjure food out of thin air was worth having around, especially someone as nice as the green eared cat girl was. He was still trying to place the names on the correct girl, a task that was made slightly harder because they were all rather distractingly cute. He felt a bit like his old seventeen year old self rather than his actual age of forty something. Of course the fact that he hadn’t aged a day since that night on Kingman’s Bluff wasn’t helping. As he glanced between Dawn and the rest of the cute girls in the room he had to remind himself that he was happily attached to an ex-vengeance demon that would happily cut his heart out for doing anything sexual without her present. Not to mention a witch that would turn him into something horrible if he hurt her.

Dawn frowned as she noticed Xander looking a little green, “You okay Xan?”

“Yeah, just thinking about Anya.”

Dawn chuckled, “That explains it, it was her idea that you come here.”

Xander nodded, “That doesn’t make it any easier to think it’s not some great big trap.”

“Oh please, you know she’s been ranting for months about trying some kinky three way stuff, she even signed a contract with Willow stating that it wasn’t a trap, she would be here herself if she didn’t have to take care of Tia. So get over it.”

Sin frowned, “I know it’s not my business but who’s Tia and Anya?”

Lily chuckled, “Anya’s his girlfriend, and Tia is their daughter.”

Sin nodded, “Oh. So what’s the deal?”

Xander sighed, he really hated to admit it but after almost twenty years of having her in his life it felt odd to consider that they didn’t have a lot in common. Sure they had the demon hunting and the council work but outside of that and their daughter and a few little things the only thing they had in common was the sex. It was great sex but he was forced to admit that she had a point about it being a little stale lately. He was having a hard time dealing with the conflicting desires though, on the one hand he didn’t know that adding another girl to the mix would make it any better, but he was having a hard time killing the resurrected fantasy of his youth of having two cute girls in a bed with him at once. “Just needed a vacation.” He smiled.

Lily frowned, “Uck, old people and sex.”

Dawn chuckled, “Grow up. So where does one have to go to find a nice cute gir…”

Rose glared, “Don’t finish that. Bad enough that I have Raven to thank for the image of Hermione mom and Dad having sex in the library. I wonder if a psychic could rip that image out.”

Dawn rolled her eyes at her daughter, “Oh please you’ve known they screw like bunnies your whole life. You‘ve seen them both without clothes more times than I can count.”

“I also know that Leo screws his girls but that doesn’t mean I want to see it. William maybe but not Leo.”

William turned nervous and held up his hands in surrender as Dawn’s gaze fell on him, “Ah, leave me out of this.”

Xander chuckled, “New topic. So who are the new girls again? And who are they with?”

Lily chuckled, “Sin and Jenny are with me. Mia is with Leo.”

Echo smiled and leaned into her tamer, “I’m Echo, and William’s mine.”

Taika smiled, “In case you can’t remember I’m Taika, and Rose‘s mine.”

Dawn nodded, “So when are the rest of the munchkins getting back?”

Rose shrugged, “When they do. Leo said he would hurry back.”

Xander nodded, “So what is there to do in this town?”

“Well Gabrielle was at the museum with Sarah and Abby, not sure she enjoyed it as much as they did.” She glanced over as she heard a knock. “Yes?” She sighed, “Stupid sound proof doors.” She got up and walked over to the intercom and pushed the talk button. “Yes?”

Gabrielle pushed the intercom button on the room, “You decent?”

“Yeah.”

Xander chuckled as Leo and Gabrielle’s bunch piled into the room. It was a decent sized room but the sheer amount of people meant that it was a cozy fit. “So did you enjoy your museum tour?”

“Pure hell, pure hell. They so owe me for putting up with that.”

Abby smiled as she leaned over and kissed Gabrielle. “Sure, you bet.” Her eyes lit up as she noticed Sin for the first time, “Hellooo kitty.”

Lily chuckled, “Play nice you two.”

Abby tipped her top hat and bowed before sliding into a place across from Sin, “Of course.”

Sin for her part was equally interested in Abby, “I think we’ll play very well together.”

Sarah frowned, “Anyone else feel like they just jumped into an ice cold river?”

Xander held up his hand, “Yep.”

Abby pouted for a few seconds before breaking into a smile.

Xander looked around, “So now what?”

Gabrielle shrugged, “Shouldn’t we be asking you that?”

He chuckled, “Nope, we are just here for vacation. You’re calling the shots.”

Dawn was quick to pipe up, “Within reason.”

Gabrielle chuckled, “Ah, ruin my fun mom.”

“Well I suggest we go with our plan B for acquiring the air ship we wanted.”

Xander raised an eyebrow, “Plan B?”

“Well plan A was to buy one, but they are hideously expensive and I didn’t exactly have a way to get that much cash, so plan B involved stealing one from a local gang and then fleeing with it.”

Dawn smiled slightly, “You know Xander I think the girls might be slightly evil.”

Rose chuckled, “So are you going to help or you just going to sit there making moral judgments?”

Xander chuckled, “Shoplifting must be genetic.”

Dawn chuckled, “Hey, now.”

“Yeah count us in.”

~

They were crouching low several miles outside of the city proper, several hundred yards away was a small cleared field and a shabby barn. It wasn’t much to look at, more like a field that had at one time been a hay field and the barn looked to have seen better days but the medium sized airship tied down near the barn was in decent repair. Helen couldn’t help but smile, as she listened to Xander’s running commentary on the team members they were using binoculars to watch. He reminded her of Leo a lot, he had that same comfy older brother type feel. Plus he liked guns and explosives almost as much as she did. She had to review the last couple of things he said before she could answer his question, “Yeah, I think I can hit them from here.”

He could only barely pick out the people from this distance unless he used the binoculars. “How sure are you?”

“Fairly, I’ve shot garden gnomes at this distance, and they are a lot smaller.”

“Don’t tell Hermione that.”

Helen chuckled, “Nah, some things are better off unsaid.”

“Then nothing we can do but wait.”

~

Dawn was happy that it was her and Xander that had decided to come rather than some of the more morally uptight people like Hermione, she loved her honey bun to death but she had that slayer instinct to save people’s lives that interfered with Dawn and Xander’s idea of justice. She had read the computer files Echo had stolen from the cops on this particular group, while they weren’t officially listed as a Team in the records, they were bad news but as witnesses kept disappearing and investigators kept returning empty handed there hadn’t been enough evidence to put them away. Though considering what they were rumored to be doing to the pokekits they trafficked in she was surprised no one had slaughtered them earlier. She supposed it had something to do with the psychics they were rumored to have. Her job was to make sure that no one could teleport out once the shooting started. She didn’t really have too many illusions about it being a good thing, but then she had always understood that sometimes justice came at the end of a sword or a barrel and not at the end of a messy suspect or fixed trial. That was probably just the Hellmouth part of her talking though. She pulled out a small silver knife and nicked her finger then flicked the drop of blood to the dirt while uttering an incantation. She nodded to herself then tapped her radio and sent the signal to start.

Simon was by nature rather lazy, not that he would have spotted the girl in black clothes hundreds of yards away laying in the grass with a modified elemental sniper rifle plotting his death had he been less lazy but it might have helped. As it was he was dead before he even knew he was in danger. The same couldn’t be said for the other guard Joe, Joe you see had that second to wonder why his friend had suddenly fallen down before his head exploded. The third guard wasn’t as lucky, he could only stare in shock as his Ka-D-Bra vanished of her own accord back to her pokeball. He turned around and gasped as three and a half feet of flaming metal cut his guts out. He was still gasping in shock from the gut wound as his throat was sliced open enough to leave him gurgling blood. He knew he was dieing so he couldn’t quite understand why the girl felt the need to then shatter his nuts with a front kick that lifted him off the ground and drove him into oblivion.

Sarah spat in distaste as she collected the dead guy’s pokeballs into a bag before once more vanishing with invis. She carefully moved to the next target lining up her strike for the back of the guy’s head, she quickly used her return trick that she had recently learned from a T2 to send the guy’s pokegirl back into her ball before cutting off the man‘s head in one powerful slash. She ducked out of site of the others working the lot as she collected the guy’s pokeballs.

Gabrielle wasn’t prepared for the blast of force that knocked her through the barn wall and into the room with a half dozen bandits and worse. Fucking foresight ability, seriously not fighting fair. Okay so maybe fighting while invisible wasn’t fair either but so what. She quickly twisted out of the way as another blast of psychic energy shattered the table she had been next to.  She tossed herself through the air as the chair she had just been on exploded. She wanted to growl at the bitch for having good enough psychic abilities to have a rough idea where she was despite the shields. Fine, the bitch wanted to play, two could play nasty. Gabrielle managed to roll with the impact as another blast of energy knocked her toward one of the bandits. She took a little bit of joy as she tossed the closest bandit into the path of the next blast as a make shift shield. The joy was short lived as the blast destroyed her shield and splashed blood over the whole room and gave the bitch enough of a position lock to use her telekinesis to grab hold. Gabrielle frantically tugged on the hold but found that there wasn’t anything she could actually tug against. She sighed, this was so not going according to plan.

Frank was less than amused as he watched his Alaka-wham shred Bill, the guy had been a fat slob but a loyal one. Still it was better to have caught whatever the hell was attacking them then to not. Besides as Bill was currently winning the poker game he wasn’t all that upset.   “What the hell are you and who the fuck sent you?”

Gabrielle sighed, “Well since you asked so nicely, I’m with Santa, and you’ve been a bad bad man lately.” She grunted as the bitch squeezed harder.

“You know I could just have her crush you?”

“Yeah but what’s the fun in that. Besides we have you surrounded.”

“Rip her mind apart.”

Alazra grinned as she mentally attacked the girl she held. She frowned as she looked around the dark cave she suddenly found herself in. Dark mist swirled around her feet as she looked around. She quickly turned as a cold voice echoed through the caves. “I’m afraid Gabrielle isn’t here right now but I would be more than happy take a message for you.” She lashed out at the voice only to frown when nothing happened.

“Silly girl, you aren’t in control here, I am.”

Alazra watched as a nude girl with black fingernails and glowing purple flames for eyes stepped out of the darkness. “What are you?”

“I’m the darkness, I’m death, I’m life, I’m magic but you can call me Demon.” She stalked toward the girl as she gestured around. “In here, in this realm you’re powerless, nothing but a scared little kitten. You should have ran when you had the chance.”

Alazra couldn’t help but scream as the mist swirled distracting her for the second it took for the demon to lunge forward and grasp her by the throat.

~

Gabrielle blinked as the force holding her collapsed. She quickly sent a rush of magic to knock the annoyingly screaming girl unconscious before turning back to look at the bandits. She staggered as she felt weak for some reason. ’Guess her attacking my wards took more out of me than I thought.’ She pulled her pistol and prepared to shoot the people only to find most of them already dead. It wasn’t until she glanced around that she noticed Sarah wiping her blade on one of the dead guy’s shirts.  She frowned, “How long was I out for?”

“You were locked in some sort of trance with the psychic lady. I took advantage of the distraction to get rid of the trash. Helen and Xander are mopping up the rest of the trash.”

Gabrielle nodded, “Can you do your neat return trick on the girl?”

Sarah flicked her hand toward the Alaka-wham.

Gabrielle watched with some relief as the lady vanished into the unconscious leader’s pokeball. “I don’t like playing with psychic types, especially ones with foresight.” She stumbled as she tried to walk over toward a chair. She brought her hand up to her head, “I feel sort of icky. And I’ve got a splitting headache.”

Sarah helped her into the chair, “Sit here for a bit and rest while I look for a set of keys or something.”

Gabrielle nodded absently as she put her head in her hands and tried to focus on something other than the pain.

~

Dawn wanted to be able to raise the dead bandits just so she could torture them to death again when she saw what was inside the back half of the barn. Dozens of cages with multiple dozens of pokekits of all different breeds stuffed haphazardly into old none too clean cages. “Jenny, get in here now.”

Jenny hurried around the corner and stopped in shock at the site of the cages. “Oh dear.”

~

Frank twitched as his face was painfully pulled back together with healing magic. A simple runic chains spell bound him in place while the silence spell prevented his screams or begging from being heard. Each time the “healing” seemed to take longer. At first he had been determined to not scream but as the hits and healings took their toll he had went from screaming his throat raw to crying soundlessly and back to screaming. It had taken hours for all of the pokekits to get their hits in. Some had merely hit him once before walking off some had hit him many times and so badly that he had lost consciousness. Those were the worst because the NurseJoy would use her magic to pull him back to consciousness so that the pokekit could continue venting their rage. He frantically pulled at the magic holding him as a blue skinned girl came up to him with a knife in one hand and one of his black loveballs in the other. “I never got to do this with my dad but I suppose you’ll do in a pinch. My therapist says that talking about my feelings helps. Normally I wouldn’t see much point but as you aren’t going to remember much of anything in the morning, I’ll tell you what I’m going to do and why.  First I’m going to use this knife to harvest some… well you get the point. Then I’m going to loveball you. After that we are going to run you through multiple level fives just to make sure there is nothing left of you in there. Then we will either sell you to a breeder or if you change into a useless evo like say a Chickenlittle, the boss said we could just sell you for pokechow.  I’m sort of hoping you get turned into pokechow. I really did think about cutting you to pieces and letting Jenny put you back together but looking at you like this,” She gestured to his blood soaked clothes and haggard appearance. “Makes me realize that you’re nothing but a two bit crook just like my dad.”

~

Xander looked around the barn, “So do you have a plan?”

Gabrielle winced, “Yeah, we need to interview the kids and figure out how many of them have parents that want them and how many of them have parents that sold them down the river. I figure the orphanage we sent the Hounds to could take some of them, especially if we sent along enough money to build another wing. Wenaldo’s could probably take some of the magic types.  We could also give several of the more human looking ones the option of being adopted by the council people.”

Xander nodded, “I know several council families that wouldn’t mind looking after another mouth or two.”

Dawn nodded, “Sounds better than them just being shuffled back into the ranch system.”

“So let’s get to work and torch this place.”
