Overview

After Typhonna ripped the Crescent Islands from the North American Continent, the living conditions were harsh, to say the least. The military group, that would eventually become the nobles to form the Oligarchy that rule Crescent, had captured pokégirls and some of their technology (such as pokéballs, P-Meds, etc.). These items that Sukebe made for his forces were manufactured on a small scale on Paramount Island, in the city that would become Epoch. This small time manufacturing operation is what kept the ones who were forming the league from going under. Small manufacturing companies still exist in Crescent, but much of the technology is imported from other leagues.

As time continued and the league authority began to have more influence over their territory, ways to gain more wealth began to be known to the league. Not only did the government use their natural resources as exports, they also began mining for Evolutionary Stones. When the League Oligarchy learned of the potential use the Slimette line could have for them, since the pokégirl line could make valuable E-Medals, the government set up an All-League Program named: Project Sunrise. Project Sunrise awards Tamers who sell pokégirls of the Slimette line with a price that is four (4) times the amount in Bounty Points that a Ranch would normally pay. The Tamer brings in a Slimette line pokégirl (it must not be a pokéwoman) to any League Ranch and the Tamer will receive the generous reward. Non-Tamers are given the reward in SLC.

What is not known to anyone else outside the E-Medal Factories is that Slimettes are purposely evolved into Slimette Princesses. Slimette Princesses and Queens are then fed untamed feral pokégirls that the Ranches collect from Tamers in order to create E-Medals. The E-products can then sold to Tamers/Pet Owners, but most are exported to other leagues or corporations in exchange for foods, pokésupplies, etc. This information is not exactly classified, but it is not advertised throughout the government.

Exporting goods to other leagues and having the bounty system for Tamers has given Crescent technology that is free for everyone’s use. Satellite communication in every home and free use of Pokécenters are some of the main things that citizens of Crescent will take for granted. The league government tries to improve the lives of the citizens, but do not wish to become an industrious league. By maintaining trading with other leagues and their corporations, Crescent stays mainly independent from outside influences. If foreign trading were removed from the league’s policy, Crescent would not be able to maintain their free services for its citizens.

Bounty System

Due to the extensive amount of feral pokégirls, Crescent needs Tamers to catch and turn these ferals in so they can be used to serve the league. However, the league would be unable to pay for all the Tamer services, such as free use of Pokécenters, paying SLC for each pokégirl brought in, etc. In order to compensate the Tamers, the league has a Bounty System put in for stability. Pokégirls are rated in Bounty Points (BP) and Tamers receive these points when they turn in pokégirls to league ranches. Bounty Points are used to trade for other pokégirls, be exchanged for SLC, and, in some areas, are used for purchasing items. This system is used exclusively by Tamers; no other position in Crescent uses this system.

Bounty Points are gained by:

·         Turn in a Common Pokégirl -------------------------------------- +2 Bounty Point
·         Turn in an Uncommon Pokégirl ---------------------------------- +4 Bounty Points
·         Turn in a Rare Pokégirl -------------------------------------------- +10 Bounty Points
·         Win a Gym Badge -------------------------------------------------- +25 Bounty Points
·         Turn in a Very Rare Pokégirl -------------------------------------- +30 Bounty Points
·         Turn in an Extremely Rare Pokégirl ----------------------------- +60 Bounty Points
·         Defeat a Menace --------------------------------------------------- +Listings in the Bounty Section

Point Usage

A single Bounty Point is the equivalent to about 2,500 SLC. They work as a credit system and can be turned in for SLC, but they are only worth 50% of the value. For instance, if a Tamer wanted to exchange 4 BP for SLC, the Tamer would only get 5,000 SLC, not 10,000 SLC. This transfer does not work the opposite way. For instance, if a Tamer wanted to exchange 25,000 SLC for BPs, they would receive 10 BPs.

As stated previously, the Bounty Point System’s main use is for trading pokégirls, but can be used to buy items in certain locations, such as league ranches, Pokécenters, and participating businesses. Menace bounties are decided by the receiver. The receiver can have all SLC, all Bounty Points, or split.

Note: Conversion of SLC and Bounty Points do not always add up.

Using the Ranch Bred pokégirls as a standard, other factors/rates determine the pricing of pokégirls who were not raised on a Ranch. These include:

·         Feral pokégirls that have been domesticated (in which they are able to understand speech, understand orders, can talk, and are tame) are usually worth 25% more.

·         Domesticated pokégirls that have just undergone threshold are usually worth 10% less.

·         Pokéwomen are usually worth 40% less.

·         Feral pokégirls (pokégirls that have not been tamed) are usually worth 25% less.

·         Pokégirls that are considered “highly skilled/trained” are usually worth 30% more.

·         Slimette Line Pokégirls (not pokéwomen) are worth four times (4x) their frequency value.
