John screamed down the hallway at the caterwauling “Will you just shut the fuck up!”
The off key singing paused, the music turned down slightly and an Edo looking guy leaned out of his door. “What's your problem?”
“Problem? Problem! Akira, I have assignments to do and concentrate on, which I can't do while you're wailing down a microphone and letting everyone in this entire halls know just how bad you are at singing!”
Akira flipped the bird and called over his shoulder as he disappeared back into his room “Fuck you.”, turning back up the volume and started his ever so in tune 'singing' again.
John growled and headed back into his dorm before coming to a dead stop as the howling just hit a critical note that sent shivers down his spine as it was just so painful to listen to – he had managed to hit that key note that was like listening to fingernails screeching down a blackboard. But this wasn't a slight hit of that note – this was genius in a perverted sort of way, keeping that note held.
Without thinking, John grabbed his pokéball and released the pokégirl it contained, a Chikotit, who appeared in a beam of red light and immediately clamped her hands over her ears and and looked at her master in utter horror. Without saying a word he grabbed one of her arms and led her to the source of this unholy terror.
In one swift move, he grabbed Akria's forehead and arms, gripping the arms behind his back, while baring his throat to his pokégirl, “Lucy! Razorleaf his throat now!”
Another incredulous look was thrown his way as the guy stopped singing and started to scream and struggle.
“RAZORLEAF! NOOOW!” John roared above the screaming and it was abruptly cut off in a shower of blood coating them both as the body fell limp to the floor with John holding the still dripping severed head in his hand.
This caused Lucy to start screaming at the entire after image and also what she had just done. John let go of the head, letting it bounce on the floor, causing Lucy to whimper in disgust and edge away. Immediately, John forcefully turned the shocked leaf type away from the scene and steered her back to his room, a trail of blood following them from the amount of blood dripping off their clothes.
Once John and Lucy were back inside, John locked the door, stripped off his clothes, and ripped off what little Lucy was wearing before guiding her into the shower and started to slowly clean her, washing away the blood and at the same time calming her down, which was also bringing him back to earth as well, just wondering what the hell to do next.
After a few minutes both collapsed on the floor, the adrenalin keeping them going was spent and they fell asleep with the shower running over them

A light appeared in the darkness, as the light approached it had a face that John recognised, it was the night time guard – a Vampira from reception.
“Maggie?” John tentatively asked.
The face nodded, “You have to leave this building if you can, Zombabes have taken over the first six or seven floors and they are working there way up. You were one of the lucky ones who are asleep so I can warn you. Go! Now!”

John woke with a start as the water had turned ice cold. What the hell? Was that real? Carefully, he picked up Lucy who was still dozing and took her to his bed. And dropped her on the floor as his door rattled with a rattling moan of “Head...”
Lucy squealed as she hit the floor, but on hearing the guttural breathing, asked quietly in a quivering voice, “What is that?”
“I think it was a Zombabe...” John quickly backed to the window and looked below. Seething swarms of... things, all moaning and rattling, with the occasional blood curdling scream of human and pokégirl alike. “Surrounded. We're fucking surrounded...”
The door rattled again, more violently. “Only one thing for it...” John muttered before addressing his pokégirl again, “Lucy, how many shots of solar beam do you think you can unleash?”
Lucy bit her lip, “It's night time, so only one.”
“Okay, I'm going to open this door -”
CRASH! Bits of the door flew across the room and bloody arms stretched into the room, straining the door lock.
“Shit – Solar Beam that door and everything across it – NOW!”
Lucy shot up and positioned herself before lighting up and in a sing song echo, “SOLAR BEAM!”
A white light shot out of her outstretched hands and blasted a massive hole through the door and wall. After a few seconds the light died down and the mutated Zombabes were on the floor, and had been given the chance to move on.
“Good girl, now we have to get out before more of them get here.”
“John, what about our clothes,” Lucy indicated to the fact that both were still butt naked from their shower earlier.
“No time to get dressed... here!” John reach and threw her her dressing gown and shrugged his own on. “Now come on, we have to go – I think the blood will be attracting them here!”
John headed out into the quiet corridor and weighed his options. Downstairs was a no go area, being swarmed with Zombabes. Being on the eighth floor, jumping out of the window was suicide. Even using Lucy with her strong skin as a cushion, that would also crush her to death with his added weight - and even then he probably not survive the fall.
“We've got to try and head for the roof, we should be able to climb down from there on the drain pipes or something. We will hopefully encounter a few fire types and maybe a celestial or two up there that could save us or give us a fighting chance.
“If we encounter a Zombabe, you'll need to first try and use Razorleaf at long range, we don't want to let them get near us – but you have to aim for the head. If that doesn't work, then use Vine Whip, again you have to aim for the head... if that still doesn't work, then we have one option.”
Lucy looked at him to continue, as he grimaced “Run.”
Steeling herself, Lucy nodded, and they set down the hall to the fire exit, only to have a Zombabe fell through the door, crawling towards them.
“Razorleaf!” barked John.
Leaves appeared from no where and shot out, embedding themselves in the Zombabes skull, red and grey mixtures splattered on the wall behind her, knocking her down but it she was still twitching closer to them.
“Shit, okay, new plan – hit and RUN!” John yelled, dragging the Chikotit behind him, leaping over the downed Zombabe, and crashing through the fire door, smacking several Zombabes down and out of the way, and hurtled up the stone steps, however there was another Zombabe stumbling down the stairs towards them.
“Razorleaf! For fucks sake, they're everywhere Lucy, the only place is the roof and pray for the best.” John paused, hand on the rail as something he'd just noticed. The stair rail was metal, but it was a bit loose in this section. A bit big for him to carry, but for a pokégirl?
“Lucy, wrap your vines around this and help me pull this rail away.”
With a bit of effort, the slightly loose rail came away from the wall and was a solid length steel, designed to withstand many different pokégirls being slammed into it. Of course, the stone and concrete was the weakest spot for removal and in this case it would help them somewhat.
“Alright, I want you to keep hold of this rail with your vines, and smack the Zombabes down with this bar in the head. That should keep them down... permanently.”
Lucy whimpered slightly, John could see this was way out of her comfort zone. She was a gardener, not a fighter. But by the six hells of Sukebe, they were going to survive this!
After she made a couple of practise moves, waving the bar around and nearly decapitating John in the process, they moved up, ignoring the screams from level nine and headed up to level ten which also had access to the roof. Unfortunately, when they peeked around the corner, there were too many Zombabes hovering around the roof access door, cutting them off from the exit.
“Shit, lets check what's left of level ten. Lets hope the roof access on the other side is free.” John whispered back to Lucy.
Carefully, John peered through the glass of the door. Blood stains streaked the walls, dismembered limbs littered the floor. But oddly, no Zombabes in sight.
John pulled the door sharply and jumped back as the bloody mess of a late tamer that had been propped up against the door, landed with a splat causing Lucy to screech and jump behind John. This loud noise had the knock on effect of attracting all the Zombabes at the roof access entrance to themselves.
“Oh shiiiiit!” John wailed as the Zombabe horde shuffled across to them.
Dragging a sobbing Lucy, who kept repeating, “I'm sorry! I'm so sorry!” into the level ten corridor, John took the bar from Lucy and jammed the fire door shut. It wouldn't hold them off for ever, but it would give them a chance.

After spending a minute calming his pokégirl down, John started to quickly glance into the rooms that had their doors open. If he was lucky there might still be pokégirls in their pokéballs that could help them out, but he wasn't so insane to open the shut doors. Who knew what was behind them? As he got to the last room before the corridor turned, and small voice squeaked “Oh thank Moan that you are normal! Please take me with you!”
John headed into the empty room and looked around. No one there. Frowning, John glanced behind him but couldn't see anyone, he looked back in front to check the room again only to see a small red face an inch away from his eyes, causing him to jump back in fright against the door frame. “Ow!” John complained rubbing the back of his head, “don't scare me like that! Zombabes are enough!”
“Is that what they are? They just appeared and pulled my Master...” the tiny red pokégirl broke down into tears. Gingerly, John pulled the floating pokégirl towards him and let her cry quietly into his shoulder.
After a minute she pulled herself together, and John looked her in the eye, “Are you ready for some payback?”
With a resolute nod, the tiny pokégirl flared up, flames surrounding her tiny body. “Oh hell yes.”
“Good, what's your name, and what sort of pokégirl are you?” John continued heading out of the room to the corridor, heading towards the elevators and second emergency exit.
“I'm Rose, and I'm a Spitfire!”
“A Spitfire, hmmm I can't recall reading that entry before, what attacks do you have?”
“Flamethrower, Ignite and both are fully charged.”
“Good, how many times do you think you can use flamethrower?”
“In my full size, about five really large blasts, in this size, about thirty small blasts.”
“Excellent! We'll try it with you staying in your small size, and if it isn't effective enough, you'll have to switch...”
John trailed off at the door leaving the corridor had also been jammed shut and half a dozen Zombabes were clawing at them through the glass.
“Fuck!” the trio exclaimed simultaneously.
The door broke with an almighty crack and the Zombabe horde poured in, the trio back peddling down the corridor at a sprint, only to see that John's makeshift door jam had also failed.
“Shit!” the trio cried simultaneously.
“Attack for your lives!” John cried out.
Flames licked out one way and Razor sharp leaves flew the other way, but it was no use, there were too many of them, and they were getting closer.
“Rose, can you fly in your large form?”
“Yes, but I can't fly with both of you!” she screamed back at him.
Just then, a white light surrounded Lucy and a scream of anger erupted from her, and as the light faded leaving a slender and bustier version of the Chikotit, more leaves appeared and was flung with far more gusto and precision.
“Finally, she's evolved!” John muttered. “Right new plan!” John kicked the door facing them that was shut, slamming it open and ignoring the bloody mess coating the room, “In here! Quick!”
The girls darted in after John who then slammed the door shut and rammed himself behind it. “Make a hole in that wall that is big enough for the three of us to jump out together.”
“I told you, I can't carry both of you!”
“It doesn't matter, you won't immediately drop, we'll just drop slowly to the ground, and Lucy can now use Leaf Shield to provide the cushion for when we hit the ground. Hopefully it'll be far enough away from here to be ignored by the Zombabes.” The door shuddered at John reinforced himself against the door.
“Make that fucking hole! NOW!”
“How?”
“Both of you, Tackle the wall!”
After a couple of hits, the wall collapsed in a dusty mess that poured out onto the surrounding Zombabes below.
“Come here, and we'll make a running leap out of here, Rose, you'll be pulling upwards as hard as you can, and the momentum we have from the running jump will take us as far as we can hope for. Ready?”
The girls nodded, each one grabbing his hands tightly.
“Three, two, one, NOW!” and the three of them pelted forwards as the Zombabes swarmed forwards now the resistance of the door had ceased. With a leap, they soared out of the hole in the wall and gravity took care of matters as John and Lucy went down, and Rose went up.
Tightening their hands, they made a fairly rapid decent, when John has an idea, “Lucy! Can you use Leaf Shield to hold us up?”
With her eyes widening, leaves surrounded them, pushing them upwards and the decent slowed. Passing over the Zombabe swarm peacefully while they howled in frustration as they were too high being out of reach, and into the darkness of the nearby forest. Finally they reached the ground where Lucy caused a heap of leaves to be waiting for them and the trio collapsed in a heap.
“We made it!”
“The nightmare is over!”
“Thank Moan for that!”
All three of them laughed, until a shuffle and a moan of “Head...” echoed in the darkness behind them.
“Oh for fucks sake, not again! RUN!”
