The island…
=============

The crew had set up camp around the Warmech, the rail gun, a heavily modified type that launched plasma shells rather than regular ones, being disassembled and examined by the Supe-Bra Geniuses, G-Poindexters, and Mechanibabes that worked for the Tech Hunters.

Night was falling, and rations were passed out, a campfire set up. The Tamers were sleeping and Taming in shifts, constantly on alert from all sides for an impending attack.

Tina was taking her turn at the watch, Molly and Anya by her side, each one helping her scan for any potential threats.

Tina, for her part, was equal parts nervous and outright BORED.

“This is stupid,” Tina muttered, idly running a hand through her long red hair, “I wish SOMETHING would happen, just to get it over with.”

“It’s a psychological tactic,” Anya said, quietly ‘feeling’ outward with her mental powers for anything that might be a threat, “Deliberately delaying an attack can be demoralizing. As their patience wears thin, their morale goes down. Eventually, when all but a stoic few think the attack isn’t coming, the attack comes, taking everyone off guard.”

Kurgan nodded, idly brushing out Tora’s feathers, the bird Pokégirl singing softly. “Standard guerilla warfare tactic. Make ‘em paranoid, then make ‘em dead,” he said.

“Hence the reason Trine is balled again,” Christine muttered, “That adrenaline junkie would go crazy in a minute from having to wait for more than five minutes.”

Tina chuckled. “I’m gonna tame Lucrecia and Tora and then hit the sack. Think you can take it from here?”

Tina nodded, as did Christine, “Sleep tight, old man. Don’t let cotton-butt and featherbrain keep you up all night.”

Kurgan snorted, escorting his two Pokégirls to his tent. “Speaking of featherbrains,” Kurgan added, “Make sure you wake up Daimonji to take his shift at the watch.”

Christine and Tina looked over to Daimonji’s tent, loud snoring coming from it. The two women traded looks and laughed.

Tina yawned, sighing. “Whatever does happen, I wish it would soon…” Tina said, resting her head on Anya’s shoulder. She looked over at Molly, the Boobgle sniffing about the nearby beach, occasionally looking out at the whirlpools, which had not abated.

Christine looked at Tina, saw how tired the girl was, and smiled. “Listen, it’s about time for Daimonji’s turn at the wheel… Why don’t you get some rest, maybe Tame Anya and Molly?”

Tina smiled. That did sound good right now… “You gonna be okay out here?”

Christine chuckled. “I’m a Nightwalker, kid. I don’t ever need sleep.”

Tina whistled. “Never knew that,” she said.

Christine shrugged. “Never felt the need to broadcast it. Mom was a Vampire, and Dad’s Mom was an Umbrea.”

“Heheh,” Tina said, “Cool.” She yawned again. “C’mon, Molly,” she called out, Molly wurfing curiously and scampering back up to Tina, her tail wagging, “Let’s get some Taming in and get some sleep.”

Anya frowned. “I am… uneasy about leaving the watch like this… I’ve had a bad feeling all evening…”

Tina elbowed her in the ribs gently, “C’mon, even badass knight errants need rest. And if you’re tired, you won’t be able to fight at your best.”

Anya sighed, realizing for the first time how exhausted she was. “I suppose so…”

Molly wurfed, blushing, her tail wagging excitedly. She liked the idea of being Tamed. Tina chuckled, petting her. She got up, and went to Daimonji’s tent, kicking where she thought his feet were.

“H-Hey!” Daimonji sputtered from inside the tent. “What was that for?”

“Upsy-daisy, muscles. It’s your turn to take watch,” Tina said, yawning.

Daimonji grunted. “Phooey…” he muttered, yawning and shaking Yachiru gently. “C’mon hon, time to get up.”

“Don’ wanna,” she muttered, rolling over in her sleep.

“Seriously, c’mon, we gotta move,” Daimonji said.

“Want hamburgers…” Yachiru muttered, rolling over again.

“Yachiru, c’mon now… ah. That’s just great,” Daimonji said. He poked his head out of his tent, revealing that Yachiru had draped herself over Daimonji’s head, the oafish young man wearing her like a hat. “I swear, it takes an apocalypse to wake her up sometimes…” he muttered.

Tina and Anya laughed, while Molly just sniffed Yachiru’s limp, snoring form curiously. Tina beckoned the Boobgle onward. They reached their tent fairly quickly, a large, dome-shaped structure big enough for the three of them and standard issue for the group.

They went inside, laying down on the blankets set up inside. “Ugh…” Tina said, “What a day…”

Anya sighed wearily. “It’s not over yet,” she said.

Molly wurfed, pulling off the torso wrap and shorts all ‘company Pokégirls’ were required to wear. “We still beats whatever come. We tough,” she said cheerfully.

Anya grinned weakly. “I wish I had your optimism,” she said.

Tina stuck out her tongue at Anya. “Just for that, Molly gets to go first.”

Anya rolled her eyes. “Tease,” she quipped.

Tina blushed. “Would you love me as much if I were anything other than what I am?”

Anya grinned. She couldn’t help it. Tina’s good cheer was infectious, and part of what she found attractive about the Tamer in the first place.

Besides, watching Molly get tamed would easily get her in the mood.

Tina smirked. “Time to pet the puppy,” she teased. Molly wurfed excitedly as Tina kissed her, gently laying her back on the blanket. Cooing softly, Tina began to run her soft hands up and down the Boobgle’s torso, gently stroking her fur.

“Mistress…” Molly said softly, Tina shushing her with a kiss. The Tamer’s questing hands gently moved up to Molly’s breasts, gently squeezing and stroking the smallish globes of flesh. Molly rowled softly, gently squirming under her mistress’s touch.

Tina grinned, laying down on top of Molly, pressing her own, slightly larger breasts up against Molly’s own. She gently traced her fingers down the dog-type Pokégirl’s front, sliding down to the dog-type’s womanhood, already somewhat wet from the gentle stimulation she had received already.

Tina smiled, laying to one side of the Boobgle, leaning down to gently kiss and lick at her nipples. Molly let out a startled gasp of pleasure, moaning softly as her Tamer pleasured her. Tina kept up her work below Molly’s waist, gently stroking and teasing Molly’s cuntlips, which grew increasingly wet, the Boobgle moaning in pleasure.

“Mistress…” Molly moaned, “Feels so good…”

Tina grinned. “Only the best for my pretty puppy…” she said, playfully tweaking Molly’s hardened nipple, not enough to cause pain, but just enough to stimulate her even further.

Molly groaned in pleasure, gently squirming underneath Tina’s touch. Tina licked her lips, and lowered her head down to Molly’s moist, dripping sex. Tina pressed her tongue deeply into the dog girl’s sex, Molly let out a yowl of pleasure as Tina’s tongue pressed in and out of her slit, her fingers gently caressing her clitoris as the pleasured her.

Anya, meanwhile, was greatly enjoying the show. She had stripped off her top, and was fondling her breasts with one hand, another shoved down her pants, roughly fingering her cunt. She loved seeing other women have sex with each other. It always got her in the mood.

Molly groaned and squirmed in sheer delight underneath Tina’s gentle touch and questing tongue. With a howl of pleasure, she climaxed, her juices splashing over Tina’s face.

Molly churred softly, wagging her tail happily, a content expression on her face. “Mistress so good to Molly…”

Tina grinned, licking her lips. “Pity I probably don’t have time to play with you some more,” she said.

Anya took the initiative, pulling Tina’s shirt off. “Time for me now,” she said huskily, “You always know how to get a girl’s motor going, Mistress…”

Tina smirked. “Don’t worry. This princess always rewards Knights her serve her loyally,” she said teasingly.

Anya winced a little, not really comfortable with being known as a Knight anymore, but let it go. She was too aroused to care, and needed her Mistress’s touch so badly right now…

Fortunately for her, Tina was more than willing to oblige. She kissed the Psi-Dyke passionately, her hands gently squeezing the older woman’s breasts, the feel of a woman’s body touching her so intimately sending the telepathic Pokégirl into raptures of pleasure.

Anya moaning softly in lust, Tina began to trace kisses down Anya’s muscular body, each tender kiss making the Psi-Dyke shiver in delight. She pulled down Anya’s pants, revealing her dripping pussy.

“Naughty girl,” Tina teased, “You’re all wet.”

                “Mistress…” Anya moaned softly.

“Sssh,” Tina teased, lowering her head down to Anya’s eager womanhood, “No coherent words out of you, cutey. Just happy noises from how good this feels….”

She began to lick and tease Anya’s sex, the Psi-dyke’s head rolling back in delight, her entire body shuddering in pleasure as Tina’s tongue invaded her most intimate area.

Tina soon found herself experiencing pleasure of her own, as Molly decided to take initiative, pulling down her Tamer’s pants and burying her muzzle inside Tina’s sex. The Tamer let out a groan of lust, but kept up pleasuring Anya. She’d have to reward her cute little doggy later…

Meanwhile…
Outside…
============

Christine was joined soon by Donovan and Nadia, Tamer and Squirtitty walking out hand in hand to join her.

“You kids have a nice rest?” Christine asked.

Nadia blushed. “We didn’t exactly rest…” Donovan blushed even brighter than Nadia.

Christine chuckled. “No worries. I know what it’s like to be young and in love with your Alpha.”

Donovan gave her an amused look. “Interesting to hear you talk about love. From everything I’ve heard, you and Trine barely get along.”

Christine grinned. “Admittedly, she’s a bit excitable. But that doesn’t change how effective she can be on missions. And how much she means to me personally.”

“THAT we can related to,” Donovan said, grinning widely, “I don’t know what I’d do without Nadia…”

Nadia blushed, and kissed him lovingly.

Christine frowned, a thought occurring to her, one she’d been having for a while. “…Are you two Recognized?”

Nadia and Donovan turned to Christine with a start. “How…” Donovan stammered, “I thought only Tina knew…”

“Craaaap…” Christine muttered, facepalming, After composing herself, she said, “The company has a strict policy never to take Recognized Tamers out on field missions…”

                Donovan blinked. “Why is that?”
“We can handle ourselves just as well as Unrecognized Tamers,” Nadia protested, putting her hands on her hips.

Christine shook her head. “Kid, I don’t doubt that, and I admit you saved us all today. But it’s too risky for Recognized agents to be out in the field, especially on high-level missions like this. Too many unknowns, too many things that could go wrong. Lose one part of that partnership, the other becomes completely nonviable. It’s just… I’ve seen it happen before… Eric’s younger brother Conner Recognized with his Frostdrake… Conner was killed on a mission by a feral Ria… The Frostdrake just gave up on everything after that, and died of starvation… It’s just too risky.”

“I won’t let Donovan die, Mistress Christine,” Nadia said firmly.

Christine shook her head. “I’m more worried about you, since you’re the one doing the active battling. You die, you think Donovan will want to live without you?”

Nadia and Donovan traded worried looks. They clearly hadn’t considered that. After a moment, though. “It’s a little late for that now, isn’t it?” Donovan asked.

Christine hesitated for a moment, and nodded. :”I suppose so…”

Donovan smiled. “For the most part I knew the risks going into this job. As did Nadia. We’ll get through them, no matter what. And we’ll get through them together.”

Nadia grinned, nodding. “Couldn’t have put it better myself.”

Christine smiled weakly. “I hope you’re right… I really hope you’re right…” I don’t want to have to go through that again… Seeing Eric, stoic, unstoppable Eric, with tears in his eyes… To see a Pokégirl as beautiful as Conner’s Frostdrake just waste away in despair... I never want to see that again…

Christine sighed, looking out over the ocean. Maybe she had become overprotective of the Probies. But she couldn’t help it…

Donovan sighed. “Miss Christine?” he said, “Why don’t you go tame Trine and Freya, get some sleep?”

“I don’t need sleep, Probie,” Christine chuckled.

“Nightwalker, eh?” Nadia asked, nodding, “Had a second cousin like that before I thresholded.”

Christine chuckled. “Yeah. Still, some alone time with Trine and Freya would be nice…” She got up and stretched, “I could check on the other Probie as well.”

“Miss T?” Daimonji said, the sleeping Yachiru still draped over his head like a hat, “She just finished up with the doggy and the Knight. Looks like they’re gonna take a little nap now.”

Christine grinned, shaking her head. “Kids these days. No stamina,” she tsked.

“No stamina at all,” Daimonji agreed, nodding sagely.

“Oh PLEASE,” Donovan said, Nadia giggling.

Christine chuckled. “Try not to drive each other nuts,” she said, “I’m gonna go get some taming in.”

Donovan and Daimonji waved to her. Christine had gotten no more than five steps towards her own tent, however, when someone began to scream.

“WABBIT SWARM!!” came the frantic call, “WABBIT SWARM!!!”

People began to poke their heads out of their tents, frantically getting dressed. Eric stormed up to the person who called out, grabbing him by the shirt.

“HOW MANY?” he demanded, his voice like the wrath of God.

“I… I don’t know, I just saw the weapon tails and ran for it…” the Tamer stammered.

                “HOW MANY?!” Eric demanded again.

“I think… I think almost two-hundred… There were let out of a mechanical box that floated up to the beach…”

“Holy god…” Donovan moaned, paling, “Blade Bunnies…”

“SHIT,” Daimonji muttered, shaking Yachiru awake. “Time get up honey, we got a fight.”

Eric immediately turned to the technicians, who were still working on the Warmech.

“Are at least the weapons operational?” he demanded.

“We need more time!” a Mechanibabe shouted.

Eric cursed. “Time we don’t have,” he said, thinking fast. “All right, everyone fan out. Find cover. Don’t die. And kill anything with ears longer than its head!”

The technicians quickly Pokéballed themselves, Tamers quickly scooping them up and heading deeper into the island, the sound of growling and chittering quickly getting closer.

Tina, still slightly disoriented from her taming session earlier, tried to gather up supplies, but Anya stopped her. “Forget it,” she said, “We can come back for them.”

“She’s right,” Kurgan growled, “Priority one is surviving. But I wanna know this, Limbec: There was supposed to be no ferals here, all of them killed and turned into ModSoldiers by the Warmech. Is this an attack?”

Anya nodded. “Yes… Feral Blade Bunnies… They’ve probably been starved just to increase their viciousness…”

Kurgan growled angrily. “Tora,” he said, the Pidgeota putting Lucrecia’s Pokéball in a pocket on her belt for later release, “Feel up for flying me up the mountain??”

The Pidgeota nodded. “Grab on and hold on, Master,” she said. Kurgan grabbed onto Tora’s shoulders, the Pidgeota flapping powerful wings and taking to the sky.

“Let’s move,” Anya said, “There should be cover near the mountains, a bottleneck we can force them into.”

Molly whimpered, “Yes please… Badbad smells coming this way…”

Tina nodded, trying to keep herself from panicking. Christine glared in the direction of the approaching Blade Bunnies, and said, “Daimonji, take your group’s two Probies and get to cover. Listen to Anya’s advice if she offers it. KEEP THEM ALIVE!!”

Christine took off in another direction, while Daimonji grumbled in reluctant agreement. Yachiru yawned, rubbing her eyes and assuming her adult form. “What’s goin’ on?”

“Wabbit swarm,” Daimonji muttered, “C’mon, let’s get out of here.”

“Evil bunnies?!” Yachiru blinked, a grin coming to her face. “It’s slicey time?”

“Not yet, sweety,” Daimonji said, he and Anya leading their group towards the mountain in the center of the island.

“But Eric’s staying,” Yachiru whined, wanting to stay and fight. She pointed to Eric, who had taken up position on top of the downed Warmech.

“Well, that’s different,” Daimonji said, “He’s Eric.”

Tina shook her head incredulously. “He’s THAT TOUGH?!”

Daimonji snickered. “Oh you have no idea…”

Eric, meanwhile, stared at the dust shrouded figures as they got closer, removing his six Pokéballs from his belt.

“C’mon, you fucked up little hoppers… Come to Eric… Lemme show you what happens when myths and legends become real…” he said, opening all his Pokéballs.

Six powerful Pokégirls appeared on the beach, recognizing the threat instantly and preparing for battle. A Chimera, a Sphinx, a Cerberass, a Beshemoth, a Womanticore, and a Dragoness.

“Come to us and die!!” he snarled, “No one threatens my people and gets away alive!!”

Several of the Blade Bunnies charged Eric’s harem. The powerful Pokégirls began immediately, and literally, tearing into their attackers, literally destroying anyone that came near them. Eric’s Sphinx floated above the horde, blasting devastating magical bolts down at the swarm, badly injuring and even killing a few. Eric’s Chimera and Cerberass waded into the horde, ignoring injuries they received from lashing blade tails, their powerful jaws breaking bones and rending flesh. A powerful Hyper Beam from Eric’s Dragoness tore through the swarm, while his Womanticore’s powerful, agile tail lashed about the field, almost fencing with the Blade Bunnies that faced her and injecting them with powerful poison that left them in agony as they died. Eric’s Beshemoth decimated anything that came near her, powerful punches crushing bones, electricity dancing about her horns, adding extra force to her already dangerous attacks. A pair of Blade Bunnies tried to attack Eric directly, leaping over the crowd with their powerful Spiral Jump attack, but a powerful electric blast from the Beshemoth and a powerful fire spell from the Sphinx exploded them before they could get near him.

Eric watched with grim satisfaction as the swarm started to get the hint, avoiding his powerful Pokégirls as they turned Blade Bunnies to corpses. He kept watch on them, looking for the Alpha of the swarm. As the swarm moved away from him, he saw her, a larger, red-furred Blade Bunny with tusks coming from her lower jaw and a battle-axe for her blade tail. She smirked, guiding her swarm away.

“Follow her,” Eric said, leaping down from his perch, “Kill her. I want her tail as a trophy.”

Center of the island…
=================

Kurgan and Tora landed on a high ridge, near a pile of loose boulders. He let Lucrecia out, the Kung-Ewe’s arm in a sling from having to use Master Blow earlier.

“What’s going on?!” she asked, “Why are we up here?”

“I noticed this outcropping earlier,” Kurgan said, “and I got an idea. I need you to use Mega Kick to shatter this rock and cause an avalanche.”

Lucrecia blinked. “That may hurt our own people,” she said.

Kurgan shook his head. “We have to take the chance. I saw that a good portion of the swarm is headed this way.   If we can crush a lot of them…” Kurgan started.

“…we can eliminate some of the threat,” Lucrecia finished, “Okay, just give me the word.”

Kurgan nodded and turned to Tora, pointing down the mountain. “Take to the air,” he said, when the swarm coming this way gets near our position, tell us. Lucrecia, when she gives the word, use Mega Kick and start the avalanche.”

Both Pokégirls took their position, ready to fulfill their roles. Tora kept close eye on the ground, her eyesight. She winced as she saw one of her teammates get overwhelmed by the swarm.

“Donnelly and his girls just got overwhelmed by the swarm,” Tora said, her voice shaking as she saw them get ripped apart and eaten by the ravenous flesh-eating rabbits.

“Steady,” Kurgan said, his teeth clenching, the growl in voice deepening, “Don’t break your position, and keep watch for the swarm’s position.”

“Yessir,” Tora said, the Pidgeota circling the area steady. It was frustrating, seeing her comrades running for their lives. She wanted to get down there, to rip the goddamn rabbits into bloody chunks…

…But she was well-trained, and wasn’t about to disobey her Tamer. She saw two more teammates and their harems overwhelmed, until finally.

“They’re approaching. Now. NOW!” Tora shouted.

Lucrecia let a powerful “Kiai!” Her leg shot out with tremendous force, the sheep Pokégirl’s attack crushing one boulder and sending the rest tumbling down the mountain, the boulders picking up speed and more debris as they headed down towards the onrushing swarm.

The Blade Bunnies, chasing another Tamer and his harem, didn’t even notice until far too late to escape as the massive boulders came tumbling down on them, crushing them into chunks.

Tora and Lucrecia cheered. Kurgan growled, nodding. “How many bought it?” he asked Tora.

“At least fifteen, from what I can tell,” Tora said, looking at the wreckage.

“It’s a start, at least,” Kurgan grumbled, “Let’s prepare our next move.”

Elsewhere…
=============

Christine, Freya, and Trine ran as fast as they could, heading towards a cavern near the center of the island. They tried to tune out the chittering and hissing of the Blade Bunnies that

“Maybe it’s just me,” Trine said, “But I’m a LEETLE uncomfortable going into a place where we might get trapped.”

“So we’ll trap them instead,” Christine said, smirking.

Freya blinked. “What are you planning?”

The three of them reached the cave, a small outcropping barely left enough room for them to fight in. They squeezed through the slender tunnel onto a ledge overlooking a long, cavernous drop.

                Christine nodded. “Perfect,” she said.

“HOW?!” Trine demanded, “Our backs are to the goddamn wall!”

Freya, however, got it. “Trine, the path into the cave fits only one at a time. It’s a bottleneck.”

Christine nodded. “If the Blade Bunnies are dumb enough to follow us in, they’ll have to do it one at a time. We can pick them off easily that way.”

Sure enough, as soon as Christine finished her sentence, a band of ravenous Blade Bunnies made their way to the cavern. After trying to force their way through en-masse, they started to file in one at a time. The first one that poked her head through into the main cavern received Trine’s fingers jabbed into her eye, a powerful electrical blast funneled through the Boobtrio’s body as the Blade Bunny shrieked its deathcry, limply falling off the landbridge as was shoved aside by her swarmmate.

That one had her neck broken by a powerful blow from Freya’s staff.

Trine grinned. “Okay,” she said, lightning sparking about her body, “I think I can work with this.”

Christine nodded. “We’re gonna live through this, people. Let’s take ‘em out, and then go help whomever we can.”

=============
Elsewhere…
=============

Daimonji, Tina, Donovan and their girls were having a rough time of it. The Blade Bunnies were starting to learn from their mistakes, and managing to keep them from working together. To make matters even worse for them, the twenty Blade Bunnies that were chasing them were led by the Alpha Blade Bunny.

“Keep heading for that ridge!! We might have a chance if we can get beyond their jumping range!!” Daimonji shouted.

“That ridge up ahead!” Anya shouted. “If we can get up it we can use it to create a defensive line!”

They kept running, their girls surrounding them and occasionally attacking to drive off a swarmling that got too close.

“This is nuts!” Tina shouted, panting from lack of breath, “We’re gonna be overwhelmed before we can get to the ridge!”

“Not if I can help it,” Anya muttered. She placed her hands to her temples, concentrating, focusing her power… and letting out a powerful psychic shriek that staggered all of the swarm that was chasing them.

                “All right!” Tina shouted.

“Less cheering more running!” Daimonji snapped, “We’re almost at the ridge!”

The Alpha Blade Bunny was the first to recover. And she was decidedly annoyed. She may have been just a Feralborn, but she had also been genetically enhanced by Washu. She was more ‘aware’ of things than her swarmmates, who generally just followed her wherever there was food.

She knew that she was supposed to kill everyone on this island. But it wasn’t working out that way. Too many of her people were being killed for her taste. Unfortunately, while she was smarter than your average Feralborn Alpha Blade Bunny, she was still at a loss on how to get away without all of her swarm being killed.

If nothing else, she’d kill the weak ones. But first, to get them away from the big one and his swordswoman…

Raising her tail, she brought another of the enhancements Washu gave her to bear… Power built up around her tail, charging up until she unleashed her attack…

                Hyper Beam.

The others had just finished climbing up the ridge when the Hyper Beam hit the mountainside between them. A landslide occurred, Daimonji and Yachiru leaping out of the way as they were blockaded off from Tina and Donovan.

“Dammit,” Daimonji muttered, “We gotta get back to the Probies!”

“I can try to cut through…” Yachiru started, quickly adding, “LOOK OUT!!”

A pair of Blade Bunnies, springing off of a pair of nearby trees, leaped up onto the ridge. One landed on top of Daimonji, while Yachiru managed to fend off the other one, dueling katana to blade tail with the predatory creature.

Daimonji managed to get a hold of the Blade Bunny’s tail, catching it just underneath the sword-like protrusion. He then grabbed it by the throat before it could bite him, and began head butting it. When the Blade Bunny was dazed enough, he rolled over so that he was on top of the feral creature.

“You listen and you listen good. You have two options here. One, you be nice and become my very best friend and new bedwarmer,” Daimonji snapped.

The Blade Bunny hissed angrily, still visibly dazed, but coherent enough to bare her teeth in fury at Daimonji’s suggestion.

Daimonji grinned. “Or, you can go for the second option, me letting you discuss the matter with my friend Yachiru over there.”

The Blade Bunny blinked in confusion, and looked over at the fight between Yachiru and her swarmmate… Which was already over.

With a quick stroke of her katana, the Chibi-Slicer cut the other Blade Bunny in half. Not breaking the motion, she then cut again, the two halves falling apart, four bloody chunks falling to the ground.

The Blade Bunny gulped, getting the hint immediately. She grinned nervously at Daimonji and affectionately rubbed herself up against him. Daimonji smirked. “Good girl,” he said, taking a spare Pokéball out of his pocket and putting her in it.

Another pair of Blade Bunnies leaped up to the ridge, Yachiru unleashing a powerful Swordwave over Daimonji that bisected them both. Daimonji got to his feet, snarling, “Let’s end this quick. I don’t know how long the Probies’ girls can hold out in a fight…”

The other side of the ridge…
======================

The others were having a bit more luck in keeping their attackers away. The few that got up onto the ridge were set upon by Molly, the dog-girl viciously ripping their throats out. Tina took the initiative, using the machete she had grabbed before abandoning the camp to cut off the tail of the first one Molly killed, wrapping the tail around her arm and using the spiked, morning star-esque weapon tail to help Molly out.

Anya and Nadia took the point, shooting down any Blade Bunnies that tried to jump up, Nadia also making the ridge too slick to climb by constantly shooting Water Guns down it. Anya, meanwhile, unleashed psychic blast after psychic blast, stunning Blade Bunnies and sending the attackers crashing down to the ground. They recovered quickly, however, and attacked again. Both Squirtitty and Psi-dyke were starting to tire, being slowly worn down by the swarm’s attacks.

And from a distance, the Alpha watched with a smirk on her face. She watched carefully, waiting for the right moment… and struck.

Her musculature had been enhanced by Washu’s experiments, giving her greater leaping power. She soared over the others in a Spiral Jump… her axe tail slicing clean through Nadia’s body as she landed amidst her swarm mates.

                “Oh my God…” Tina moaned.

                “NADIA!!” Donovan shrieked, “NOOO!!!!”

Molly and Anya could only stare in despairing shock as Nadia stood there for a moment, a confused expression on the turtle Pokégirl’s face. Before their horrified eyes, the two pieces of her body slowly separated with a sickening squelch, falling down towards the ravenous swarm, which set upon this new meat with frenzied hunger.

                “NOOO!!!” Donovan wailed, “NADIAAA!”

Before anyone could react, Donovan ran forward from behind Tina, and threw himself down the ridge after his beloved, the young man’s heart in agony at the sight of his lover dying. His screams of sadness soon became screams of pain, as the Blade Bunnies started to eat him alive. A single swipe of a blade-tail across his belly revealed his entrails, which the Blade Bunnies began eagerly eating.

“DONNY!!!” Tina wailed, rushing forward, desperate to do something. Molly whimpered, covering her nose, trying to block out the scent of Nadia and Donovan’s blood, Anya catching Tina before she could look over the ridge and hugging the sobbing girl to her chest.

“Washu… Yggdrasil… Damn you both…” Anya muttered, tears in her own eyes.

Washu’s Ship…
=============

Washu Kurotsuchi was a patient Pokégirl. The mad scientist in the clown-like makeup was perfectly willing to wait for reports on her experiments, letting them proceed naturally to their conclusion. So she was more than a little annoyed when the Kunoichi who’s name she couldn’t be bothered to remember showed up with a report.

“My lady,” she said, “The swarm is losing.”

Washu frowned. “Obviously they would. I presume that there are heavy casualties on Eric’s side as well?”

The Kunoichi nodded. “Yes ma’am. The former soldiers in the group have been managing to create successful traps for the swarm. Eric’s harem alone is killing a lot of them. Plus, that filthy traitor Anya is confronting the Alpha Blade Bunny now.”

Washu hmmed thoughtfully. “…Perhaps there is more to this experiment than it seems. And perhaps it would have value to capture the survivors as well as the machine. It should be interesting to try and convert them to our side…”

“Ma’am?” the Kunoichi said, surprised, “You wish to try and convert them after everything we’ve done to them? Even the traitor?!”

Washu cackled, a sound that sent a shiver of terror up the Kunoichi’s spine. “My dear, as always you lack any sense of the aesthetic. And as always you underestimate ME. I can be… very persuasive… when I need to be… And having a powerful veteran such as Eric on our side could be quite useful…”
